Simple & Seraphic
A few hours after I posted War and Lunch I received a lovely and generous note from A Simple Jew, complimenting me on the post, urging me to keep blogging, and drawing my attention to this recent article which I find indescribably moving.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
I do not mean to disrespect your lady friend (from War & Lunch), but I currently have a cousin in the Israeli Army who is a high ranking official. I have always hoped for peace and asked him what drives these terrorists to kill another human being. He says thay these people are raised to be killers. They have no good in them. From the time they're in grade school (if any) thru adulthood, they see their parents/elders spew hate, practice hate, and this is the life they carry on. They must be eliminated. I know this sounds harsh but when you broker peace time and time again and at all times this peace is broken by an act of terror, negotiations must cease and another tactic must be used; force.
Just to keep conversations like this humorous because humor always break silence, my cousin always ends with "How do you kill an arab? Right Guard. (Deodarant)
