IraniaNazis

It was only a matter of time. Iranian Jews, Christians and other religious minorities are going to be forced to wear colored badges identifying them as non-Muslims.

The world-wide Jihad marches on and we in the west are in complete denial.

The violent Jihadists attack because they sense weakness in the west. A liberal secularism that knows not who it is, and thus concludes that there is nothing worth fighting for.

Where are all the moderate peace-loving Muslims we always always hear so much about?

Why are they not protesting?

The answer is simple. They cannot protest because what the Iranians are doing is completely acceptable by any interpretation of the Koran and Sharia. Just go to Robert Spencer's website Jihadwatch for a complete explanation.

Let us not forget that it was not the Nazis nor the medieval Christians who came up with notion of forcing Jews to wear distinctive clothing or badges, but this was a Muslim innovation.

Wake up or your children will be wearing a yellow star.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Please forgive my ignorance but "wake up" and do what? Who will listen; what will pressure Iran?

It's very frustrating to be able to see the future so clearly yet be unable to do anything to stop it.

Betsy:

Good questions.

Here are some suggestions.

1. We must stop sending money to countries who support Jihadists: this includes Egypt, The Palestinian Territories, etc. There are 57 Muslim countries where Jihad is openly preached in their Mosques by state sponsored Imams. Our government should tell them no more money until you shut down this poison. This includes the neverending propaganda that runs on their state run TV stations that urges their people to hate America and destroy Israel.

2. We must control who enters this country. Did you know that on the questionnaire to enter this country there is the question: "Are you a member of a terrorist organization?" And then there is an asterik. Go to the bottom of the page and it states: "Even if you are that does not mean you will be denied entry into America." Jihadists enter this country every single day.

3. There are thousands of Jihadists in America. We have to take off the gloves that shackle the NSA and the CIA and go after these people, kill the ones who won't be taken alive, and the rest put on trial by military tribunals.

4. We must start a Manhattan Project to find alternate sources of energy. Once we are no longer dependant on foreign oil we will be free to make war on our enemies in a way that will make them rue the day they started Jihad. The Saudis will melt back into the sands of Arabia and revert to the desert barbarians they always were.

5. Shut down the UN. It kills more people than it aids. The only time it works is when America steps up and makes sure it works. It's one of the most corrupt antiSemitic, antiDemocratic institutions on the face of the earth.

6. No more appeasement to tyrranical governments. They make a move that threatens our security or the security of an ally, we hit them hard. We should not spend years on fruitless negotiations. We did that with North Korea and Iran and now we are in terrible trouble.

7. Iran's nuclear facilities must be bombed and bombed again. Until they get the point.

8. Get rid of most of the faculties in our universities. They spread sedition and lies. Do not send your child to a college where left wing Jihad apologists dominate. Write to the college and let them know why you are not sending your child there.

9. We must throw off this politically correct way of thinking. It is suicidal. The Jihadists count on it. They see it, correctly, as a fatal weakness. They hire ACLU lawyers, and laugh as Yale professors claim that Jihad really means a personal struggle. Guess what: So did "Mein Kampf"

10. We must face the fact that Islam is not a peaceful religion.

There is much more but this would be a good beginning.

Your ideas are great - but I doubt enough people care.
In Washington DC a few months ago - Most of the people I came into contact with: hotel clerks, cab drivers - all Arabs. Sure some are legit - but how many aren't?
The Jihadists have to be laughing at us.
Congratulations on your award - well deserved. It's always great to bring more light into this world - especially during these times of political darkness.

Pretty scary.

Robert, I think Jake has infiltrated your mind.
You made a "top 10" list of suggestions.

Posted by: Cruisin-mom at May 19, 2006 03:03 PM

Yael:

11. Vote Republican. They're serious about the War on Terror. The Democrats are not.

Thanks so much.

Long time lurker, have never commented. I love your blog but usually feel like I'm not eloquent enough to add to the discussion. However, I just had to comment here. If such a law was passed, it would be a crisis, a disaster beyond many recent ones. However, soon after the story broke, many sources suggest that it is actually untrue. http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/news/story.html?id=6626a0fa-99de-4f1e-aebe-bb91af82abb3
and http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060519/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iran_dress_code_1;_ylt=AjSB6x4uakqFLmyH4mB5NPX6OrgF;_ylu=X3oDMTA2ZGZwam4yBHNlYwNmYw--

imply that perhaps the initial reports were highly exagerated. This doesn't mean that the Iranian governement isn't capable of doing this, but just wanted to point out that this isn't entirely true, either.

Randi:

As you can see from the above, I added #11. But still, Jake has definitely infiltrated my mind--which is a good thing.

Elaine:

You are more than eloquent. Welcome.

This bill for badges for Non Muslims has been in the Iranian Parliament for two years. Now, feelingt their oats the President of Iran has felt that it's time to push it through. They have been moving it upwards for a final vote. At the same time testing international reaction. Israel released a statement suggesting that if the bill passed, Iran could expect an immediate military response. Now the Iranians are backpeddling. Claiming that this is all a smear campaign by the dirty Zionists.

It's a valuable lesson: do not appease. As soon as these barbarians make a move that threatens your people, make it clear that the response will be massive and overwhelming.

They always back down. That is the nature of bullies.

Thnaks so much for writing.

I like the 10 -- I mean, 11 -- point program. Coincidentally, someone in Iran paid a visit to my blog today, though without leaving a comment. Hmmm.... maybe it was a Jew?

ps - Like Robert Spencer, author and commentator Andrew Bostom is another good resource.

I don’t think it's enough to only go after the "jihadists." I have been amazed and disturbed over the years at encountering recent immigrants – new citizens or legal residents – who despise this country and are filled with hate. One example: An Egyptian grocer I recently encountered spewing anti-Semitic hatred. Another example: A Jamaican-born minister, who lives in Florida, who regularly writes columns in a Jamaica newspaper, describing America as a racist society comparable to Nazi Germany. When my grandparents came through Ellis Island, it was to flee hated -- not to more easily embrace it. The people I describe are not jihadists, but they are part of the problem, along with those who enable them: a government that requires too little of new immigrants and residents, in respect to learning anything positive about this country and embracing its values and culture. Other enablers, as was pointed out, are various intellectuals, "activists," and those in academia who naively explain away and tolerate such hatred.

Wake up or your children will be wearing a yellow star.

Red in my case, but that still puts us all in the same boat. As if we needed this to tell us so.

I do repeat Elaine's caution: This story is unconfirmed and may be wrong. Maybe the Iranians will skip the Nuremberg Laws, and proceed directly to the Final Solution.

This post seems to be bringing all of us lurkers into the open. There is a very interesting story about where this is all heading and how blind we are being to the Muslim agenda here: dansimmons.com/news/message/2006_04.htm
You need to get past the first couple of paragraphs where he explains the sci-fi concept of a time traveler but after that it is a terrifying look just a few years into the future. And when I googled the different people/places mentioned in the 'fiction', they were all real and here. Sorry if this isn't making sense but you will see if you read the story.

Thank you for this wonderful blog.

Jeremiah:

My 11 point program, I realize now, should be a blog all its own. I have quite a few readers from Persia. Also silent.

David:

Thanks for your comment. I hope you don't shop at the Egyptian's shop anymore. These people should pay a steep price for their ingratitude and hatred.

You say they are not Jihadists, but of course, you don't know. A Jihadist can be one who funnels money to homicide bombers, right? Robert Spencer calculates that there are thousands of Egyptian grocers in America right now, each one a walking time bomb.

As for the academics: after the cold war ended, it became fashionable on the campuses to "deconstruct", well, everything--even Jane Austen! Barbarians! This was code for: "we're still communists, but we can't say it out loud." They demanded to hear the voices of "the others." i.e. the old (so tiresome) proletariat. Well, they heard it and it was Osama Bin Laden. But they refuse to hear what he is saying. Or they delude themselves into thinking that they will be exempt from the mass Islamic purges that will come.

As you wrote to me, David: "Hitler had his professors, and so do the Jihadists."

Kent:

You write: "Maybe the Iranians will skip the Nuremberg Laws, and proceed directly to the Final Solution."

Well, of course the Iranians have already promised to annihilate Israel and there is no reason not to believe them. Thus Israel has to hit them first, hit them hard, so that they will be deterred for a long, long time. Believe me, with all of Iranians boasts about their deep bunkers spread all over the country, there are several bombs that can easily penetrate these bunkers, and not all the facilities have to be hit. The Iranians are a boastful bunch, it won't take much to shut them up and shut down their nuclear program. Like all bullies, they will fold very quickly.

fyi, Iranian Jews thank the rest of the world for its outcry of concern. In today's New York Sun. (Get it while it's current and available for free - they charge for access to archived articles.)

Jeremiah:

Thanks so much for bringing this valuable article to our attention. There is no question that the odious law was seriously being considered by the Iranian Parliament. It was in committee for two years. That they dropped it for two reasons:

1. World outrage was immediate and unqualified. there was no talk of "negotiations."
2. The Israelis made it clear that there would be an overwhelming military reaction.

The Iranians are now screaming that they are being libeled. They are trying to make themselves appear as the victimes.

The Iranians are being defended by the arch leftist, American hater and antiSemite Juan Cole. This makes the whole issue quite clear. When Cole takes a side you can be sure that side are terrorists bent on killing Jews and destroying America and Democracy.

By the way, does anyone know if Yale has hired the Cole? If so, Yale has hired an unabashed supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah. Yes, as Seraphic friend David Paulin of the fine website "The Big Carnival" wrote to me privately a few days ago: "Hitler had his professors, and so do the Jihadists."

It never ends with the neocons, does it?

Illusory weapons of mass destruction, aluminum tubes, yellow cake, Mohammed Atta in Prague, argumentum ad nauseam, ab ovo usque ad mala -— they are seasoned and pathological liars. 'Iran’s announced intention to force non-Muslims to wear an identifying badge is causing many to make the comparison to Hitler and the Nazis, who forced Jews to wear badges in the shape of the Star of David,' declares the American Thinker, or rather non-thinker since there is a good chance the story is nonsense, a cheap and gaudy propaganda contrivance, another log tossed on the attack Iran pile.

Posted by: Yehudit at May 24, 2006 08:10 AM

"Never ends with the neocons." Why don't you just say, Jews?

We won't be shocked.

Several hours before the Sept 11 attacks, Saddam placed his troops on "Alert G," the highest state of military readiness Iraqi troops had seen since the 1991 Gulf War. Saddam himself retreated to one of his heavily fortified bunkers in the family fifedom of Tikrit in Northern Iraq. His two wives, Sajida and Samira, women who loathe one another and are never in the same building at the same time, were both moved to another of Saddam's secret bunkers--together.

Over 40,000 Kurds, mostly women and children, were murdered by gas and other biological weapons. The survivors would be surprised to hear that Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction. But of course, Kurds don't count.

There is ample evidence that Saddam moved what was left of his depleted WOMD program to Syria, another rogue state that supports world wide terrorism.

Regarding truth: The Iranian's plus the whole Arab world deny the Holocaust, there's veracity.

The Iranians vow to destroy Israel, they're kidding, right? Just that whacky Persian sense of humor.

Yes, poor Iranians, poor Arab world. They suffer all because of... Israel. Never because of their own pathologies.

Let me get thhis straight: When they cry, "Jihad" it's actually our fault.

Got it.
