Shiva Information & Robert Unravels
Here is the Shiva information for the Singer Family.
The Singer Family are sitting shiva for Karen's father, HaRav Pinchas Zvi through Tuesday morning. Karen and her mother and siblings are returning to NY Sat night. to complete Shiva in Brooklyn. David Singer will sit the entire shiva at his home in Israel.

Karen will be flying back to New York with her sisters Rena and Naomi, and their mother Celia on Saturday night, where they will finish sitting shiva: They will get up from shiva Tuesday morning.
I will join Karen at the Singer home in Bensonhurst Brooklyn.

Karen and the entire Singer family have asked me to extend their gratitude to all those who have paid their respects to their father Rav Pinchas Zvi Singer ZT'L. The outpouring of love and respect is deeply touching. Karen would like to respond to each and every comment here on Seraphic Secret but, alas, she does not have a computer with her. But please know that her thanks is endless.
I am flying to New York in a few hours, I will be spending Shabbos, my first, with Offspring #2 and my new son-in-law. This is very exciting.
I will be a guest in my married daughter's home.
Gosh, just yesterday she was taking ballet.
I travel light. Code for: I'm not bringing my computer. Code for: I need a vacation. Code for: I'm lazy.
So, unless I decide to use Offspring #2's computer there won't be any new posts for several days. I plan on kicking back with several books and getting in touch with my inner nothingness.
This is what happens when I get separated from Karen.
I unravel.
Really quickly.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
Robert, what you call being lazy, I see as enjoying some well deserved down time.
You and Karen both are in my thoughts during this sad time. I hope you enjoy your visit, and that you have a peaceful Shabbat.

A happy/sad/bittersweet/nostalgic time for the Avrechs and the Singers. May you be comforted by each other.
Robert, I'm sure your "inner nothingness" will nonetheless produce some wonderful food for thought for some later posts...or some screenplay...or some Seraphic Press projects. Creativity never sleeps...!

As if explanation is necessary. Tamara and Pearl have spoken well. Ihere's probably been "unraveling" talking place where you're going, too. I bet Karen will appreciate the comfort.
