Kofi = Killer

Let's get this straight. Kofi Annan, the man who ordered his UN troops to stand down as 800,000 Tutsi tribepeople were hacked to death by Hutu mobs in Rwanda, is now accusing Israel of deliberately killing his four Peacekeeping Troops in Lebanon?

Kofi, Kofi, Kofi, if I may: What were those poor men doing in a war zone? Why would Israel do something so at odds with her own self-interests?

Kofi, to say something so stupid, you only reveal your own culpability.

Were they really keeping the peace between the Hizbulluah genocidiers and the IDF-- all four of them?

Or maybe you forgot about them?

Like when you sent your troops into Rwanda with hundreds of flashlights--sans batteries?

Little oversights like that.

How do you keep your job?

Incompetent CEO's all over the world want to know.

Is it that lilting English accent that makes you sound so intelligent?

It is a tragedy that these men were killed by an Israeli shell. But you know what? You killed them. Just as if you pulled the trigger.

You're nothing but a corporate murderer in custom made suits.

Because really, you have more blood on your hands than most Third World dictators.

If you had a shred of decency, and look, we know you don't, hence Darfur, you'd resign in disgrace and exile yourself to some lonely barren island as punishment for your crimes against humanity.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

The MSM is going to have a field day with this...

Hey Robert and Karen! Just responding to your last post.

Bensonhurst? My parents grew up in Borrough Park and Coney Island respectively, and I'm situated in Park Slope.

Though I'm not religious, the orthodox here have truly taken me in and I don't go without a Shabbat dinner on Friday nights if I don't want to. It's wonderful. People love to portray the orthodox at odds with secularists and their less religious brothers and sisters. It's B.S. Whenever I sit with them I feel I'm with family.

On another topic, I noticed that pretty much every op-ed writer in the Times, with the exception of Brooks, went after Israel for defending itself. Herbert's post was especially offensive, as he said that Israel needs a true friend that will keep it from retaliating (we Jews can't be trusted to make decisions ourselves, you see). Friedman was just OK: he played down that this is a war of Israel's very survival and wished a peace keeping force would come in.

So, it seems that the democrats really have abandoned the Jewish state. It's a pity.

Don't forget the massive UN sex scandal- the one Kofi is trying to sweep under the rug.

See this, first:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UN_peacekeeping

"Until the end of 2005, 2,226 people from over 100 countries have been killed while serving on peacekeeping missions, 1,789 of them being soldiers. Many of those came from India (115), Canada (113) and Ghana (108). Thirty percent of the fatalities in the first 55 years of UN peacekeeping occurred in the years 1993-1995."

Kofi has not displayed the same concern- and anger - at the death of UN peacekeepers.

Now, see this, about the sex scandal:

The story has gotten bigger since the article's publication

Robert, I think Kofi DELIBERATELY makes these statements both because his obvious hatred of Israel, but mainly to deflect attention from the beyond pathetic and less than useless condition of the UN.

He DELIBERATELY lies. HE DELIBERATELY used the word "deliberately" to get back at Israel and US criticism of this murderous and heinous individual.

The most obvious question in the world..my daughter asked it...why would Israel bother targeting UN officials deliberately?

In a tie-in with an earlier post, Shepard Smith, a Fox announcer posted right now IN Israel, asked the same thing just a short while ago...and he was as incredulous in his tone and appearance as anyone could be. He, to his and Fox's credit, asked what could Israel possibly want with targeting UN peacekeepers, that there was no way to wrap one's mind around any understanding of a way to make sense out of it.

I know, it's obvious enough, but it's good that SOMEONE in the media "got it".

In the meantime, Kofi should go sleep with the fishes...he deserves it, like Nasrallah. He is an immoral monster.

Brooklynsax:

Good to hear from you. We're very glad to hear that you're taken care of for Shabbos meals. if you're ever here in LA, please know that you will find a seat reserved at Casa Avrech for Shabbos too.

Don't get me started on The NY Times, they are a delusional bunch who believe that all will be well in the world if only Israel will lay down its arms, sing Kumbaya, and die like good Jews should.

The very idea of a multinational peacekeeping force is so dumb it has every country in the world running away from the notion so fast it's like a shot from a Keystone Cop movie. Yeah, the Germans, the Italians, the French, The Greeks are really going to fight Hizbullah... for the Jews.

And I have a lovely bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. You can see it from Park Slope.

S,C&A:

Yup, that's our Kofi and his UN peacekeepers.

To summarize:

1. They don't keep the peace.
2. They stand by and watch as genocide takes place.
3. They rape refugees.
4. They draw huge salaries.
5. They pass numerous resolutions against Israel for crimes against humanity.
6. They are guilty of repeated crimes against humanity.
7. The American taxpayer pays the bulk of Kofi's and the UN's bloated budget.

No question: Kofi=antiSemite.

Kofi is just terrible.

Posted by: Ozzie at July 25, 2006 11:55 PM

Robert - Around your posting time of 5:00 last night, CNN was implicitly supporting Kofi. C. Ananpour was very elegantly and unctuously amplifying the blood libel by quoting "my dovish Israeli friends" [never using words like leftists of course] who "of course are upset by Hzblah" but "told me that the Americans must play a role because the Israelis never know when to stop". And when Wolf Blitzer WEAKLY asked her if Kofi's accusation was credible, her response/deflection was "but four people have DIED, Wolf".

This is quite an opportunity. Like a hurricane watch, we get to witness the realtime formation of a blood libel.

What's telling is that "Kofi Annan", in Aramaic, translates as, "we are monkeys".

How apt. Personally and for the org. he heads.

Posted by: Doron at July 26, 2006 10:43 AM

Judd:

No one asks: What the heck were the UN people doing there in the first place?

BTW, 1,000 people die in the Congo every single day of hunger? Where is elegant Christine? Well the anser is simple: it's too darn depressing-- and no Jews to pin it on.

And then there's the Janjaweed in Darfur. Muslim murderers and rapists, who have killed about 700,000 men, women and children, because they are, gasp, animists, infidels--and the Janjaweed have created about a million refugeees who are slowly dying of hunger. But again, no Jews to pin it on. So naturally, the people who whine about the Zionist criminals, well, they can't be bothered about true evil.

Look, these people scream when we call them antiSemites, they get really upset, they cry foul. But when you attack the only Jewish state in the world and never attack the other 300 thugogracies that are true monsters, well folks, that makes you a genuine antiSemite.

Disgusting.

Have you noticed that the media is very silent on the fact that throughout history, Israel, and former lands of Judea etc. have been attacked by Syria and other similar countries, each time in a similar manner, amassing weapons on the border and then attacking Israel, and each time Israel defending itself and defeating the attackers and pushing them back. Are they stupid? I guess so. Any one or any country that attacks Israel for simple reason of attacking to provoke deserves whatever they get in return for Israel to defend itself.

George:

Thanks for writing. You ask: Are they stupid? In truth, they are far from stupid. They are in fact pathologically evil. It's really that simple, that complex. Let us not forget that the UN, this august body, just appointed Libya to chair it's commission on Human Rights.

Enough said?
