A 12-year-old Jewish girl who was beaten unconscious and robbed by anti-Semitic yobs on a bus has spoken out at her disgust that no-one came to her aid.
The girl, who does not want to be identified, was stamped on several times in a racist attack lasting around five minutes while on board a 303 Metroline bus in Mill Hill, north London.
At 6.30pm on August 11, she and a friend were sitting at the back of the bus when a group of around four girls got on at the Concourse, Grahame Park estate, and asked them if they were English or Jewish.
They both replied they were "fully English".

It is true that these criminals will probably not be punished.

Actually, the perpetrators would be punished if caught (although the degree of punishment is likely to be a farce). As a racially aggravated attack the sentence is automatically extended (something I would prefer to see dealth with by having proper sentences for assault).
The behaviour of the bus driver is disgusting, bu sadly utterly predictable. Over 300 new buses are on the road in London, which means that hundreds of drivers have had to be recruited, lowering the standard. Many don't even know the names of the streets they drive along.
Mill Hill is a haven of tranquility in North London. But the Graeme Park estate, built on the site of an RAF airfield next to the RAF Museum, is a terrible place (although its filled with attrative green spaces).
