The Path to 9/11

My friend, Govindini Murty, over at the fine Conservative Hollywood blog Libertas, posted the very first review of ABC's upcoming mini-series "The Path to 9/11." Democrats and supporters of the Clinton administration will not be pleased with this film. Naturally, there is a growing controversy. To read more about this, please click here.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

i dont know about the accuracy of this film at all. Richard Clarke claims that the whole scene with sandy Berger is entirely fabricated. That seems to point to a tremendous amount of artistic license being used. This film leaves a lot to be desired.

REMEMBER - it's just TV!!! It is not labeled a documentary, nor for that matter I hear no one representing it as any kind of FACT, just someones representation of the 9/11 report, which of course was someone elses representation......

Its just TV!! The right wingers will label it their way as will the left. So far the TV show is sounding like it leans RIGHT - but I will watch it, while I remember that just like 24 - it's just TV!

Absolutely it's just television, but im pretty sure they r labeling it as fact(at least that was my impression) and to use a the propaganda in the other direction, Farenheit 9-11 was entirely documentry, incredibly one-sided, and I still think an important movie. But it was clear to me that it was just being used as television, even though it was labeled and represented as documentry. If u had a problem with that movie u should have a problem with this one. Or at least point out that its television and not necc. based on fact

Greg, Brad:

Michael Moore's movies are indeed labeled documentaries, they are however, inflammatory leftist propaganda--far from truth.

This film is based on several books, and not only does it come down hard on the Clinton administration, but also on the pre-9-11 Bush administration.

This film is not being labeled as fact, but as what it is: "a dramatization of real events."
