Caribbean Jihad

A fine article by Seraphic Friend David Paulin about the spread of Jihad to the Caribbean Islands. Deeply disturbing. Click here to go to the article at Big Carnival.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Well, I certainly hope I won't get another argument here when I cite this post as yet another example of why we cannot trust politicians of any stripe when it comes to Israel, the war on terror, or anything else that's truly important. It is no longer good enough to say "party A is bad, but relatively better than party B," when it comes to issues of life and death like this. Geez, we can't even rely on Israeli politicians to protect the state anymore.

So who can we rely on to beat killers and liars? Parents, teachers, our troops, and LOCAL, (not central office), clergy. And we need to systematically work to take away the abusive powers of our "leaders" by holding them more accountable and stop offering 100% allegiances to political parties of any kind.

There is a ruling class in Western society, and it cannot be trusted at this crucial time when our civilization is under attack. The "huge differences" between the parties on every issue are mostly B.S. cooked up by people trying to get elected or re-elected. Realize that the hypocrites are the norm, not the exception.

Sorry, the above comment belongs in the "Bitter Rice" post! So, you can't trust politicians to do the right thing and you can't trust me to get it right.
