Guns or Jewels?

Actress/Model Elizabeth Hurley likes guns better than jewels. We like Liz.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Wait, Elizabeth Hurley likes and owns guns? So tell me how is Hugh Grant is still alive.

I have a close friend who works with Liz, he says she's a really lousy shot.

If she had scratched his eyes out sometime in 1995, the movie-loving world would only have missed out on one good film, "About a Boy." Other than that, she missed her chance.

Jake:

Ariel ZT'L absolutely loved "About a Boy." It was one of his favorite contemporary films. One of the things that most endeared him to the film was that the lower class English characters say: "Oiy"(sp?) to express surprise. Ariel used to laugh with joy at every single "Oiy."

But more than that, he just felt that the central message of the film--the importance of fatherhood--was vital.

Even the film's main song was great.

Only one good film? And what about Four Weddings and a Funeral?
