Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

after my finals i was planning on posting about my trip to israel this summer. the post i was looking forward to most was about machne yehuda, my favorite place in israel.

but now arutz sheva has done it. they even spoke about the westernization of the shuk which i was going to talk about. i think they even stole my camera, as i have the same pictures (down to begin mural and the ethopian spice store)

that's what i get for procrastinating.

oh well, i think i still have some material left anyway.

Ari:

Here's some advice from a pretty experienced writer: no story is completely told, every writer brings a unique and completely new vision to seemingly old pictures.

Look forward to your take on Machane Yehuda.
