Jihadists Endorse Hillary and Barak
My favorite bit of comedy from the Democrats is that support for Israel is a bi-partisan issue.
This is a Big Lie.
True, there are Democrats who support Israel. But the party as a whole, has made a landslide plunge to the left, has swallowed the poison pills of multi-culturalism, and moral equivalence. In this toxic brew Jew/Israel-hatred has infiltrated the Democratic party like a virus. Just scan the threads of the Daily Kos to get a sense of this wretched all-consuming medieval mindset.
But the proof that the Democrats are not good for Israel, not good for America and are favored by jihadists everywhere is readily available.
It's so naked that the Democrats, many of them Jews—what a shock—are in total denial.
Ask the jihadists.
This from the Cinnamon Stillwell, one of 27 Conservatives in San Francisco.
Last week, I was lucky enough to receive an advance reading copy of WorldNetDaily.com Jerusalem bureau chief Aaron Klein's soon to be released book, Schmoozing With Terrorists: From Hollywood to the Holy Land, Jihadists Reveal Their Global Plans—to a Jew!
While I haven't yet read the entire book, one particular chapter caught my eye. Noting how closely America's foes follow U.S. domestic politics, Klein interviewed a number of Palestinian and other assorted terrorists about their views on the 2008 presidential election. And guess who the terrorists endorse, above all others, for president? That's right. Hillary Clinton.
The chapter in question is titled, "Terrorists Go Ga-Ga Over Hillary Clinton," and indeed they do. They base their support on the belief that Hillary will pick up where her husband, former President Bill Clinton, left off, in regards to the failed Oslo Accords, thereby assisting them in their goal of annihilating Israel. They also base it on the understandable assumption that Hillary will effect a premature withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, which, they note, would be seen as an American defeat. In the process, the jihadists make a very strong case (at least for those are aren't on their side) for not following their advice.
Taking it a step further, the jihadists also endorse fellow presidential hopeful Barack Obama and heap praise upon the Democratic Party, and the left in general, for its, shall we say, rather weak-kneed approach to fighting terrorism. For Republicans, they have nothing but contempt. A badge of honor, if there ever was one.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
If they support Israel like they "support the troops", Israel is in trouble.

Suek:
Indeed, Hollywood's support of our troops is much like an abusive husband who supports his marriage: by beating his wife to a pulp because, as he so eloquently explains, "I just love her so much."

"one of 27 Conservatives in San Francisco"
It would only have taken five righteous men to save Sodom, so maybe there's hope for San Francisco after all. ;)

I went to downtown DC Saturday to particpate in the counterprotest, and had a good view of the "antiwar" protestors and their signs. There were a *lot* of signs demanding an end to the "occupation" of Israel (and Afghanistan) as well as Iraq.

Five righteous men plus Abraham's prayer. Otherwise, no dice.

I loved your comment about Cinnamon. She is an unusually brave women to be an outspoken Jewish conservative in SF. I had the pleasure of meeting her last month at the West Coast Blog Fest and can tell you that she is what you'd expect her to be from her writing: intelligent, informed, articulate and charming. If she opines about something, it's worth taking it seriously.

df: That's clear evidence of the "Palestinianization" of public debate. Their virulently propagandized situation is asserted as the measure of all things political. Everything else conforms to it.
Dennis Kucinich appearing on Syrian television recently referred distinctly not just to the American "occupation" of Iraq, but called for material reparations and "truth and reconciliation." The first smacks of continued race-extorition politics in this country. The latter is an attempt at reconstructing civil society that was made in, e.g., South Africa after apartheid ended.
21st Century "progressives" say, "Heal the world!"
21st Century "conservatives" say, "Free it!"
America is just as alone as is Israel. Britney, O.J., and dogfighting quarterbacks are just distractions from this late-historical truth.

Here's a link to Kucinich's (also Bill Richardson's) point-by-point proposals for Iraq:

Flipping through a book in the WWII history section of a used bookstore, I came across a chilling passage:
In a remote village in Russia, the Jewish inhabitants looked forward eagerly to the arrival of the German troops.
Apparently, they remembered the polite and "correct" German officers from WWI, who had been greatly preferable to the local anti-Semites. They didn't understand that the meaning of "German" had changed in the intervening 20 years.
I think those who put their loyalty in the Democratic Party are making a similar mistake. Not that I'm suggesting Democrats are as bad as Nazis, rather that it is very dangerous to assume that today's friends and enemies are the same as those of previous times.
The villagers, who were clearly cut off from communications, had an excuse for their ignorance. People today have no such excuse.

df: History is woefully complicated in ways most of us who haven't lived between it and a hard place don't get.
It wasn't just the Jews but Ukranians and all other national minorities who, being oppressed and terrorized by Soviet rule, to varying degrees welcomed the Nazi invasion.
In fact I once knew a woman, an American, whose grandfather had been head of the Lithuanian army in the years preceding WWII. He had had diplomatic duties regarding the Third Reich. She remembered growing up with an old group photo that had included her grandfather and Hitler....

oh come on!! you are going to let the terrorists and enemies of your country decide who you should support. whomever they support choose the other guy(or girl)?? sometimes they make the wrong choice as well. I dont need their opinions to decide who i should vote for. And YOU dont either. Make your decision based on who u think is best for the country, not on the other guys choice. and as for the democrats as a whole going over?? I disagree strongly and so does aipac. Admit it, as a republican, you've let your bias come into play here. Take any non-partisan israeli lobbying organization, and they'll tell you that the democrats(as well as republicans) are overwhelmingly supportive. Gmar chasima tovah

Brad:
I choose the Republicans because their policies for America, as I see it, are best for this country and her foreign policy. Oh, and free market capitalism. Too many Dems are crypto-Socialists.
Hillary-care, Hellooo!
The jihadists don't tell me how to vote.
They do, however, indicate which party they prefer, for obvious reasons. Appeasement is good for jihad.
Only a delusional voter would ignore such a, ahem, militant opinion.
It hurts, I know. I feel your pain.
As for AIPAC, they are always bi-partisan. That's the name of the game. But privately, and I know all the players, they are terrified of what's happening to the Dems.

Re: wholesale left-leaning democrats: They wont learn until its too late. Comparisons between America and Rome are imbecilic. The proper comparison would be the French 3rd Republic. It went under in 6 weeks. When America as we know it topples, the speed with which it will happen will be hair-raising.
