Fatah Police Defect to Al Qaida
Ever since Israel expelled 9,000 Jews from Gaza two years ago, turning yet another patch of Middle Eastern soil Judenrein, the situation on the ground has become increasingly dire.
Israel expected she would get peace in return for land.
As if there's a long history of such behavior on the part of her Arab enemies.
Israel expected that she would garner good-will from the world for expelling her own citizens and creating a national trauma.
Instead, Israel is treated with more contempt than ever before.
And Gaza is now a forward base for every transnational Islamic terrorist gang in the neighborhood.
The IDF has a plan to cut off minimal amounts of electricity and fuel to Gaza, the entity that is bent on Israel's destruction. But the EU, lapdogs to the Saudis, protested vehemently because, as we all know, it is Israel's responsibility to supply power to the very people who have taken a sacred vow to annihilate the Jewish state.
Israel's judiciary might actually come through and allow the power cut-offs.
But this cut-off will not be enough. Not nearly enough.
So, as Gaza sinks into spasms of uncontrollable violence, Israel is backed into a corner where she will have no choice but to invade the Gaza salient and pay a heavy toll in the lives of her ground troops and of course, the lives of Arab civilians.
The very game plan the jihadists are wishing for.
Once again, the peaceniks, the humanitarians will be responsible for the vast bloodshed that is to come.
Scores of Fatah policemen who used to serve in the Palestinian Authority security forces in the Gaza Strip have now joined the al-Qaida-affiliated group calling itself the Army of Islam, sources in the Hamas-controlled Interior Ministry told The Jerusalem Post Thursday.
Meanwhile, Fatah's armed wing, the Aksa Martyrs Brigades, claimed responsibility for firing 20 rockets from the Gaza Strip recently. The group said the attacks signaled the beginning of a military campaign dubbed "Operation Gaza Autumn," in the course of which it would fire hundreds of rockets at Israeli communities. It said residents of Sderot had two choices: leave or die.

And here's some news about PA policemen, newly deployed in Nablus that should send shivers up and down the spine of sane Israelis. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with these fine and upstanding young men? Their loyalties are, um, solid, right?
Meanwhile, in Gaza, the preparations for war against Israel continue deep underground:
The IDF has stepped up its efforts against the terror infrastructure in Gaza and, in a 36-hour operation that ended Thursday, discovered seven weapons-smuggling tunnels in the southern Strip along the Egyptian border.
The kilometer-long tunnels were discovered near Dahiniye by an elite Engineering Corps unit and troops from the Golani infantry's Battalion 51. The tunnels were found within two kilometers of the border with Israel and, according to the IDF, had been used intensively in recent months to smuggle weapons and explosives from Egypt into Gaza.
The troops destroyed the tunnels in controlled explosions. IDF sources said they had been large enough for people to pass through and were most probably used by terrorists to leave Gaza on their way to Iran or Syria for training.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
