No Gays in Persia—And We Know Why
Remember when Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in his talk at Columbia University, declared: “We are friends with the Jewish people.”
Who can forget such golden ivy league moments.
Ahmadinejad went on to lecture learnedly about the Holocaust: “There are researchers who want to approach the topic from a different perspective.”
Wow. Just what the university needed, a fresh perspective. For this parents shell out over 50K per year. Talk about scams.
Let's see, regarding Iran's nuclear ambitions, Ahmadinejad stated: “They are completely peaceful.”
Audience reaction? Yawn. What is the big deal about a jihadist nuclear bomb? Global warming, now that's something to get worried about.
The Palestinians? Well, of course the Persian demagogue was going to hit this note. It's in the playbook of every petro-tyrant on planet earth.
Predictably, the audience was up and cheering, clapping, and howling Allah Akbar. And those were the Jewish students. What can you do, the so-called Palis are a leftie fashion item, like an overpriced and truly hideous Marc Jacobs jacket.
Really, Columbia University students and faculty are so tedious, such left-wing dupes, in short: a bunch of Jew-haters.
But: when queried about homosexuals in Iran, President Ahmadinejad firmly declared: “In Iran, we do not have homosexuals like in your country. We do not have that in our country. We do not have this phenomenon. I do not know who has told you that we have it.”
(Which means, I suppose, Persia has no theater, no film industry, and G-d help Persian women, no really good hair-stylists.)
Audience reaction?
Off the charts. There was roiling anger mixed with disbelief, plus a massive dose of contempt. Gosh, the peace-loving Columbia intellectuals were ready to lynch the little Persian fella. You would have thought the guy had denied the Holocaust or, um, called for the annihilation of the State of Israel.
Gotta love those morally astute Ivy league academics. Pass the Kool-Aid, please.
Well, now we know why there are no homosexuals in Iran.
The Iranian regime murders them.
Iranian Makwan Moloudzadeh had not celebrated his 20th birthday when he was hanged on Wednesday in Kermanshah prison for having had a homosexual relationship seven years ago.

Seraphic Friend Shrink Wrapped has an excellent blog, Heads Will Explode, that explores the left's pact with jihadists. It's a fine analysis of the lengths radical ideologues will go to deny reality.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
