Best of the Jewish Blogosphere # 151
This edition is being sponsored by Jameel's Waffle House.
This is the first Post Soccer Dad edition, and Jack's first time out of the gate. By the way, Jack and I shared pizza together here in Los Angeles a few months ago and his thoughts are anything but random.
Anyhoo!
Jack's done a fine job of collecting the best of the Jewish blogosphere and we'd like to thank him for including Seraphic Secret's The Death of Education and Torah at Hebrew Union College.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Nah, scattered, incoherent and prone to rambling. I very much enjoyed our meal. When it comes to conducting an interview Jack Bauer has nothing on you. ;)
We'll have to do it again. Thanks for the link and thanks for the excellent content.

BTW, I also included your Kibbutz Love story.

Jack:
True, I conduct an excellent pizza interrogation, but hey, sans torture, though you did let your pizza get ice cold. Yuck!
Karen had a dental emergency and I literally threw up the Haveil Havalim link as we were running out the door. Didn't even see the Kibbutz love-link. Thanks so much.

I can sympathize! Spent 3 hours Friday in the chair having a third molar prepared for a crown. He couldn't get me numb. I'm here to tell you that drilling without being numbed is numbingly painful.
