Abbas: Moderate Terrorist

Mahmoud Abbas, Moderate Holocaust Denier, Moderate Terrorist

We're shocked, just shocked. The moderate President of the moderate Fatah, who attended the moderately Marxist Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow and wrote a sparkling dissertation on Holocaust denial, yeah a few Jews died during World War II, but mostly from y'know, disease, is whipping out some pretty snappy dialog these days.

This President of not very much (actually he seems to be co-President of Israel) and who receives billions upon billions of dollars in aid from the Europeans and from our brilliant State Department, is actually threatening violence against his beloved Jewish peace partners.

And we thought that this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Hey, we have a great idea: let's hand over Judea, Samaria and half of Jerusalem to the Arabs. Maybe then we'll score some brownie points and the Arabs will like us—they'll really like us—and we'll all live together in peace and harmony, sip latte and sing Kumbaya.

Or: we can deny power and fuel to Gaza, stop talking to Abbas. Declare all boundaries as final and let the Arabs sort themselves out once and for all.

The world will then have to pay attention to genocide in Darfur, Kenya, Congo, Chad, Tibet, North Korea, the list of true horror shows is endless.

Anywhoo, this from Mahmoud Abbas, the moderate President of the moderate Fatah:

PA President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday said that he does not rule out returning to the path of armed "resistance" against Israel and took pride in the fact that he had been the first to fire on Israel and that his organization had trained Hizbullah.
In an interview with the Jordanian daily al-Dustur, Abbas said that he was opposed to an armed struggle against Israel - for the time being.
"At this present juncture, I am opposed to armed struggle because we cannot succeed in it, but maybe in the future things will be different," he said.
The PA president also expressed pride both in himself and in his organization, Fatah, for trailblazing the path of resistance.
"I had the honor of firing the first shot in 1965 and of being the one who taught resistance to many in the region and around the world; what it's like; when it is effective and when it isn't effective; its uses, and what serious, authentic and influential resistance is," Abbas said.
"It is common knowledge when and how resistance is detrimental and when it is well timed," he added. "We (Fatah) had the honor of leading the resistance and we taught resistance to everyone, including Hizbullah, who trained in our military camps."

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Abbas is lucky he's fighting against Jews, who are, by nature, peace-loving and giving the benefit of the doubt. If he were fighting non-Jews (like Europeans [Think American vs. the Indians] or fellow Muslims) he and his ilk would be pushing up daisies right now.

Joel:

Hey, Abba's days are numbered anyway. Hamas are going to delete him sooner or later, and no doubt blame the “criminal Zionists.”

Let's not forget that Arab on Arab violence between Fatah and Hamas and various criminal families, like the Dagmoush clan, has yielded a higher body count than any violence Israel has imposed on her enemies.

A fact the Europeans conveniently ignore.
