Moderate Terrorists
When homicide bombers target a mall in Dimona, Israel, they target all malls in Israel. When homicide bombers kill one Jew they threaten all Jews from Israel to Great Britain.
Some may fool themselves that by expelling Jews from their homes they will appease Islamic terrorists, and bring peace to the the Middle East. This is pure fantasy. Sooner or later these same jihadists will demand that Jews give up their homes in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Paris, Sydney, and New York. The template is set with all 22 Arab Muslim countries Judenrein—excuse me 23, Gaza is the Palestinian State and it is, of course, free of Jews. Naturally, the Arabs demand that Judea and Samaria also be cleansed of Jews. It is unthinkable that any Arab tolerate Jewish citizens.
And the international community finds this ethnic cleansing perfectly acceptable.
It comes as no surprise that one of the homicide bombers in Dimona was a member of Fatah, the terror gang led by Mahmoud Abbas, now in so-called peace negotiations with Prime Minister Olmert.
Just last week, Aaron Klein reported in The Jewish Press:
The stated Palestinian goal of a Palestinian State is just a temporary ruse until “all of Palestine” can be “liberated,” declared Saleh Raafat, a member of the executive committee of Abbas's Palestine Liberation Organization in an interview on Fatah's official television network.
Raafat said the Palestinians would accept “22 percent of Palestine” as a temporary and not permanent” state until “all of Palestine” can be liberated.
When Raafat says all of Palestine, he means the State of Israel.
Fatah and Hamas are quite clear on their goals about eliminating the State of Israel. The two terror groups only differ on tactics.
Those who counsel endless negotiations with jihadists who seek the destruction of the Jewish State do not understand that these negotiations only favor the Arabs. The terror gangs grow stronger, their morale improves, and the resolve in Israel among the chattering classes crumbles at an astonishing rate. Many Israelis turn their scorn and hatred towards the Haredim instead of towards those who truly seek their destruction—a sad case of Stockholm Syndrome, and classic self-hatred.

If not for people like the Haredim, Torah would not survive and thus the Jewish people would not survive.”

Finally: Seraphic Secret receives a fair amount of mail from people who accuse us of being:
1. War mongers.

3. Alarmists.
4. Meanies.
5. Not interested in seeking a just and peaceful solution to the Mideast conflict.
To which we respond:
1. War solves more problems than peace conferences. Remember: Munich.
2. For a true taste of racism, in the form of Jew-hatred, please read the Hamas charter. Or any Arab newspaper.
3. You bet. People should be alarmed. If you're not alarmed, you're a moron.

5. Just and peaceful solution is code for: the end of the Jewish State.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
I _know_ that Israel is the home of the Jews...but maybe it's time to consider dispersing _some_ Jews to more friendly parts of the world? Like the US? Young couples with many children to come? Maybe?
The bad thing about so many Jews in Israel is that Israel is so small...so many people in such a small area that so many other people want to kill and destroy...
Imo...to lose the Jews in huge numbers would be a very bad thing for the world...maybe it's time for some of them - to go somewhere safe?
I know...unthinkable, but still?

Funny you should use that title. In a slightly longer article Barry Rubin made a similar point today.
And you made an argument that Rabbi Emmanuel Feldman made a number of years ago in a satirical piece about Israel retreating to the Jerusalem Bus Station. I haven't been able to find it online though.

Regarding #4 (and I realize you left it blank on purpose) - I think we should start using the term "mean" more often. It might make those on the other side of the aisle understand a little better. You know how they have those bumper stickers that read, "Mean People Suck"? Well, maybe we should explain that terrorists are mean. Very, very, mean. Might that turn the terrorati against the terrorists?

Muslims Against Sharia condemn the murderers responsible for the homicide bombing in Dimona as well as degenerate perpetuation of the culture of death in Gaza.
Our prayers are with the victims of this atrocity. We send our condolences to their loved ones.
May the homicide bomber rot in hell for eternity. May his accomplices and animals who celebrated this horrendous act join him soon!

The second suicide bombing attempt in Dimona was thwarted by a courageous security officer. As the bomber laid on the ground after being shot the security officer noticed that he was still attempting to move, without hesitancy he shot him several more times.
An arab MK made the ridiculous comment that the security officer acted inhumanely and should have not shot him once he saw that he was still alive on the ground.
Of course there will be an inquiry and possibly even a lawsuit against the brave security officer who saved possibly dozens of lives!

Hasn't the State of Israel already succumbed to terror?
Haven't all jews and non-jews already succumbed to Islamic terrorism?
The Muslim doctrine for future world domination is based on baby steps. We've seen countless examples in many nations around the globe.
Holland, France, England and of course Israel and the US have all succumbed to Islamic terror in one form or another.
Spain acquiesced to terror after Al Qaieda bombed a train prior to state elections.
The Arabs use western democracy coupled with outright threats of violence to infiltrate their doctrines within our society.
Unfortunately fighting this menace is a very very formidable task, one which we seem to be losing
