Slaughter of Yeshiva Students

From Naomi Ragen:
I write you this with a heavy heart. This evening, about 8:30 p.m., an Arab terrorist from East Jerusalem, bearing a blue Israeli identity card, entered one of Jerusalem's elite Rabbinical academies, known as Mercaz Harav. He carried a package into the unguarded building where rooms full of young boys in their early to late teens sat pouring over the pages of the Talmud. Some of them had just returned from the kotel. They were waiting for the festive evening—marking the beginning of the joyous month of Adar, the month of the holiday of Purim—to begin.
The terrorist headed for the library. He opened his package. Inside was a gun and so many rounds of ammunition that security forces at first thought it was a suicide belt because of its enormous weight. He saw young, unarmed yeshiva students learning Torah and he opened fire at point blank range. In a room nearby, some older students heard the shots. At first they thought it might be firecrackers to welcome in the month of Adar. And then they heard the screams. Somehow, about twenty of them were able to rush out of the library and barricade themselves in another room. They heard the shots and the screams. They watched the shadow of the terrorist as he walked to and fro, silencing the moans of the wounded with further shots. They waited, expecting to be killed at any moment.
A yeshiva student in the dormitories, hearing the shots, took his personal weapon and opened fire on the terrorist, wounding him. From across the street, a former student of the yeshiva, a paratrooper and an officer, took his weapon and ran across the street. Because of his familiarity with the yeshiva, he was able to find the exact angle from which to fire at the rampaging murderer, shooting him in the head, and putting an end to the carnage. He did this at great personal risk.
So far, we in Jerusalem are hearing reports that eight boys are dead, and many more are injured, some of them seriously. We are hearing reports that the Hamas is giving out candy and rejoicing in Gaza. Hamas leaders are proud of this "hero."
This is the kind of heroes that Muslims have. The kind that kill young unarmed students at point blank range. May G-d avenge their blood.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
Hello Robert....it's been a while since I've posted here, but after I heard about this unspeakable carnage I had a gut feeling you would have something about it, and I was right. I don't know why we in the civilized world insist on negotiating with these barbarians - PC guilt or multi-culti brainwashing perhaps? Truth is there will come a point when we won't have the luxury of being so "amendable." Those who live in close proximity to islamist communities - Mindanao, for instance - have no illusions about making nice with the enemy, short of through the barrel of a gun. I believe we're in for a rude awakening. This war will get a lot bloodier than most Americans will have the stomach for, but that's the reality. It's about time everyone WAKE UP and smell the jihad!

These are our partners in peace?
As a child I lived nearby the Merkaz Harav Kook Yeshiva. I remember getting my hair cut by one of the yeshiva boys who ran a barber shop from his dorm room on Friday afternoons.
Nothing is off limits to these terrorist! Not even a house of worship, not even a school or hospital.
Why can’t the rest of the world wake up and realize that we are not dealing with normal people. They play by their own set of rules and can not be a partner in peace under any circumstances.
World, if you are listening don’t force these monsters on us. They murder our sons while they study our holy books and do so in the name of G-D.
May Hashem avenge their blood!

What a horrible thing! I grieve for those lost and for their families, and I wonder when the world will wake up.
I am not sanguine, because in the midst of this hatred and barbarism, our universities are lining up to partner with Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and other Arab states to provide American style education (including engineering) in those areas. The deluded administrators and faculty think everything will be just hunky-dory and oh-so-civilized. Wait until the first female faculty member drives herself around off campus, or the students learn their professor is Jewish (of course, Jewish professors will be expected to teach online since they won't be welcome on campus).

For years I have been saying to my Israeli relatives the only thing these cowards understand is brute force.
No compromise. No Peace. Unleash hell on these barbarians and do not give in because they will not.
It is either us or them.
Those Israelis who go to Dubai to sell diamonds are a disgrace.
Enough is Enough.
Build more walls to keep them out. Give them guns and hopefully they will kill each other.
My sincere condolences for the families who lost their loved ones.
It's time Israel stops with diplomacy. It just does not work.
