Anti-Semitic Obama Supporter Attacks Jewish Philanthropist

Daphna Ziman
Daphna Ziman is a Jewish philanthropist in Los Angles. Her work with the African American community is well known. Last night, she was supposed to be honored. Instead she was subjected to a vicious Jew-hating diatribe by a supporter of Barack Obama. It's no secret: the black community is riddled with Jew-hatred. And with so many apologists for Jeremiah Wright on the left and in the Jewish community, well, Jew-hatred has found a comfortable home not just in the black community but in the Democratic party.

Hi,
I have to tell you of an experience I had last night that was so anti-Semitic and frightening:
Last night I was honored by Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, for my work with Children Uniting nations with African American children who are living out of home care. I have dedicated my life to saving these children from abuse, neglect and a life of crime. We created 'adoption day' and "Day of the Child" determined to recruit caring adults to be mentors and life savers for our at risk children in the inner cities.
The Mayor was present and City Council member Bernard Parks, assemblyman Mike Davis, Senator Mark Ridely Thomas etc. I was introduced as a children advocate and a leader in the Jewish community. I began my speech by talking about how I woke up in the morning and listened to Hillary Clinton's speech, in the spirit of Dr. King from Memphis, that moved me so deeply. I expressed to the crowd how grateful I was to listen to Sen. McCain apologize to the community for mistakes he has made in the past. I acknowledged Sen. Obama's speech from the campaign trail about Dr. King's mentorship.
After I spoke and thanked the fraternity and their members, Rev. Eric Lee, pres. and CEO of Southern Christian Leadership Conference of greater Los Angeles, was introduced as the key note speaker.
He began his speech by thanking Jesus for Obama, who is going to be the leader of the world. He continued by referring to other leaders Like Dr. King, being that this was the moment of celebrating Dr. King's spirit on the anniversary of his death, and Malcolm X.
It was right after the mention of Malcolm X that he looked right at me and started talking about the African American children who are suffering because of the “JEWS” that have featured them as rapists and murderers. He spoke of a Jewish Rabbi, and then corrected himself to say "What other kind of Rabbis are there, but “JEWS”. He told how this Rabbi came to him to say that he would like to bring the AA community and the Jewish community together. “NO, NO, NO,!!!!” he shouted into the crowd, we are not going to come together. “The Jews have made money on us in the music business and we are the entertainers, and they are economically enslaving us.”
He continued as to how now the salvation has come and the gates have open for African Americans to come together behind Barack Obama, because now is the time to show them (meaning the Jews).
He continued to speak about “White supremacy” vs. the talents and visionaries in the core of African Americans. He demeaned being given freedom, by saying “To what?” to a country that kills women and children.
I could no longer be polite and sit in front of the crowd, so I walked out.
Members of the fraternity ran after me as did my staff, I was not able to contain my tears and I cried. I cried for me and my family, who have tried so hard to help the African American community, because we adopted children from the same realities and wanted to give back to other children and people. We have been completely color blind, for us it was only helping those children in need. This letter has been truncated for reporting purposes, as our sole interest in sharing this with you is to provide you with a first hand account of Daphna Ziman's devastating personal experience of anti-Semitism at a recent event at which she was being honored.
From Stand With Us.
Hat Tip: Seraphic Friend, Aliza Zibkoff
And here's Roger Simon interviewing Daphna Ziman for Pajamas Media. This is worth watching for Ms. Ziman is utterly authentic, completely believable and shocked by the vicious Jew-hatred that was unleashed at her and the Jewish people. She's a Jewish liberal who's been mugged by reality.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
My father once told me a story. It goes like this:
A Professor heard that the local asylum had received a new patient, and that this patient, though insane, was gifted and learned. He began a correspondence with him, and indeed, the poor inmate was gifted with a temperate and deep wisdom. The professor could not but insist on visiting, and was led into the inmate’s cell, where he informed the attendant that he was perfectly safe and wished to be left alone with his friend. He was not disappointed; their conversation was everything he hoped for, and he grew more amazed by the moment that anyone would consider his friend anything but sane. As he stood up to leave, his friend seized his leg and viciously bit him. He screamed, what kind of maniac are you? Why did you bite me? The inmate answered, I may be insane, or I may not be insane, but you are demonstrably a fool for trusting an inmate of an insane asylum.

Good story, probably wasted on those who most need to hear it.

GOOD NEWS:
Barack Obama's once double-digit lead over John
McCain in a hypothetical match-up has evaporated, according to a just released Associated Press poll.
Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are now statistically tied with McCain, suggesting the Arizona senator may be benefiting from the drawn out Democratic primary race.

Jake:
It's also worth mentioning that Obama always polls much higher than he actually performs.
It's a race thing.
People tell polsters that they are going to vote for Barack Obama, because, y'know, they wanna look all liberal and fuzzy-wuzzy, but once they get into the booth they get a grip on reality and determine that they are not going to vote for a man who has been in the Senate for two and half years, has the most leftist voting record since Karl Marx, is supported by Jew-haters and Jihadists everywhere.
Of course, Dems will support him because they are, at core, racists, like Nazis they put a premium on blood and skin color, but in the general election, sane Americans, Republicans and Independents, will turn their backs on this radical leftist who swims with Weathermen and Jew-haters.

This is the kind of testimony that's needed.

And what was the reaction from the Mayor and the other dignataries?
This guy should go work with Obama's Pastor.....or preferably, go to h*ll.

I wonder if Ms. Ziman will still vote for Obama?

Mark:
Lee is already denying he made the anti-Semitic statements. So far, nada from the Mayor, who's not going to alienate the black vote over this, that I can guarantee.
Look, as I said, black Jew-hatred is a tsunami all over America, we all know it, just no one will dare admit it, or talk about it.
And it's found a nice comfortable outpost in the Obama campaign, much to the relief of the Jew-hating blacks and Muslims.

Ms. Ziman is color-blind, but now she discovers that the people she's helping are not, to put it mildly. I wonder where she'll go from here. More of the same, or is there a lesson to be learned?

Check out Lee's mealy-mouthed apology/denial on Stand With Us.

I just got an update from Naomi Regan's email list - here's a link to a video interview with Ms. Ziman's reactions to the despicable incident. It's about 5 minutes and so worth watching. http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/reverend-eric-lees-anti-semitism-a-personal-story-video/

Robert is right, black candidates almost always poll higher than they actually do on election day. Ask Tom Bradley, former L.A. mayor who ran for Governor of California twice, led in the polls both times, and lost both times in the end.
With McCain running, I truly believe all 50 states will be in play for him. He may not have enough to get over the hump in New York or California, but states like Minnesota, New Hampshire, Wisconsin and 1 or 2 others that went to Kerry in '04 are very winnable for McCain.

If Obama wins (please God don't let this happen) we are going to see tons of ugly for four years while the black community is in the spotlight because the politics within the greater black community are very intense, to put it mildly. It is quite diverse in its own right- in some good and clearly not so good ways. We will see the great, the good, and the awful- like Lee.
Of course scumbags like Lee are out there and there are plenty of knuckleheads filling the pews. There is a ton of homophobia in the black community as well, which I found shocking when I first started working in schools in the South. Now, I'm less naive. I watched a black teacher (who is all about supporting her community) call a kid a 'fag' and join the entire class in laughing at him. This was not an uncommon experience. It is my personal prayer that God give her ten gay children of her own.

Any assortment will do. And may they all have commitment ceremonies and adopt.

I've written at length about Black racism being the worst in the USA. I've spent the last twenty years working with blacks (I was once the only white guy in a section) and their hateful remarks about Jews, Asians, Mexicans, and women are just non stop. The bigots are Black. Period.

I don't know if Standwithus had to truncate the message because of non-profit tax reasons, but here's the rest of the letter that I received (via Naomi Ragen):
"I cried for our beloved country and the division that Barack Obama has caused with his Rev.
Wright opening the gates to 'hate' against the Jews and whites. I grew up so looking at America as the land of Freedom. I was honored to receive my citizenship accompanied by members of the
Kennedy family. Now, I'm afraid for Israel because Barack sat there for 20 years listening and not standing up for what's right, why would he standup for Israel?
I cried for the Jewish community who are so blind that they can't see that there's a movement here that will destroy us.I cried because for the first time in my life I was afraid of the future.
I cried for our world that is moving backwards and not forward. Everyday, I see children so lost, and so deserving of hope and love. I look into their eyes, knowing that it is their lives that are in our hands.
I'm crying now, so I'm going to stop writing because it is so painful. I just had to share this experience with you,"
(That's all I received)
So I'm guessing she's not voting for Obama...

How dare this man insult this good woman, and using a platform that was meant to honor her!
What a pig! This is the company that Obama keeps, these are Obama's beliefs too, yet those who would vote for him cannot see.
They are blind to any negative remarks toward BO, they refuse to see.
They refuse to see.
Why support a man who is sooo inexperienced?
Why support a man who has torn this country in two?
Why support a losing candidate?
Do you know who this man associates with?
Do you understand his beliefs?
Are you aware that if he is elected it will start riots across America?
There are 18 million people out here that want to be heard and want their votes to count!
We will make changes, changes in the way the DNC has handled itself, changes in who our representatives are, changes in how women are treated, we will continue to try to make a difference in the lives of all Americans, not just the selected few that BO represents.
He will never make it to the White House, this dirty dealing has got to stop and if congress, and the DNC are not willing to make the changes necessary to include the voices and votes of all people, then we will vote those in who will.

Hi, I am Theresa, I am african american and I am not in support of BO. The African American people don't understand the division that BO and his wife have cause within our country. God honors anyone that love Jews and Israel. Most of my doctors are Jewish and I trust them very much.
Anyone that don't love Jews will be cursed. Obama may get away with somethings with the American people but he will not get away with them with God. Obama was raised by an atheist and he don't have any fear of God. He even had his family in an anti-american and anti-white church.
We all just have to pull together and pray a little harder so we can defeat this man in November. I am sorry for any damage that my people are causing in this campaign. They are really blind and bitte, BO and his decietful campaign are adding fuel to the fire.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful and articulate comment. Unfortunately, it looks like BO will receive over 90% of the black vote.

I think this is just a cmapign to make sure Jews don't vote for Obama and that black people are bad people. If one person talks badly about another person, that is a personal issue and no need to drag Obama's name. Thank You

Josh:
I do not want Jews or anyone to vote for Obama because I strongly disagree with his radical leftists politics. I believe he has not a clue about national security, and his collectivist politics will lead to economic disaster.
Further, Obama's 20-year association with a racist, Jew-hating Pastor and church indicates a broken moral compass.
