9-11: You Shall Not Forget

The Torah teaches that we should forever remember what Amalek did to the children of Israel in the desert. Furthermore, the Torah commands us to wipe this evil off the face of the earth.
Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you came out of Egypt, how he attacked you on the way when you were faint and weary, and cut off your tail, those who were lagging behind you, and he did not fear God. Therefore when the Lord your God has given you rest from all your enemies around you, in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance to possess, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven; you shall not forget.
—Deuteronomy 25
What was Amalek's great evil?
They attacked the stragglers, the oldest and the youngest, the lame and the blind, those who were at the rear as the Jews marched through the desert on their way to the promised homeland, the Land of Israel.
Amalek is still with us.
They still attack and murder the weak and the defenseless.
Amalek are the Islamic terrorists.
We must remember the evil of 9-11.
And we must eradicate modern Amalek from the face of the earth.
If not, our children and grandchildren will be murdered in cold blood just as the innocent victims of 9-11 were slaughtered.
And let us not forget the joy that gripped the Palestinians as word of the 9-11 attacks spread through East Jerusalem.
Yes, East Jerusalem, the real estate the Olmert-Livni-Barak government is prepared to turn over to Amalek.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
Today would have been my mother-in-law's birthday.
When 9-11 happened, she said it was the worst day of her life. I could not understand that comment: she'd lived through several Israeli wars, she'd lost parents, siblings, nursed a husband through grave illness and watched as he died...
But she knew after the events of 9-11, that her birthday would always have a negative association.
May all the heroes of that day, all the martyrs of that day be eternalized in our memories and hearts.

As an atheist, I look at this issue the same way. I simple remove the religious aspect.
These people are killing and harming people for what? Extremists, regardless of their religion, that kill innocent people for their belief have no use in this new global society.
We as Americans, better yet as Human Beings, can no longer take the leftist Democratic approach and sit down with these "less than human" individuals and sip tea. It sickens me to think that Obama could become President. Life, Liberty, and Freedom...the things that REAL Americans love will be lost!

Robert, I just re-read your article, "Help, I'm a Hollywood Republican." What a great article and how troubling to read about the ignorance, blind hatred and prejudice in Hollywood.
Isn't it one of the plans of the Communists - to take over education, the media and Hollywood so they can influence America from the inside?
It is truly a battle - of good and evil, in my opinion.
I have a liberal friend/acquaintance and the subject of Sarah Palin came up. He said of Sarah, "She so uneducated!"
These folks would reject Christ because he hadn't graduated from Yale or Harvard.
Unbelievable!
