Obama and American Terrorist Bill Ayres

palinmoose.jpg

Sarah Palin and John McCain are being slimed by the mainstream media at every turn. Charles Gibson's condescending interview with Governor Palin is only a glimpse of things to come. Except for Fox's Bill O'Reilly, we're still waiting for MSM journalists to interview Obama with anything approaching vigor.

And we're still waiting for BO to accept John McCain's invitation to debate in town hall meetings.

We will wait 'till hell freezes over for Obama's handlers understand quite clearly that their man, without a teleprompter, is incoherent.

And let's not forget Barack Obama's unsavory associations with the shady financier Tony Rezko, the Jew and America hating Jeremiah Wright, and American terrorist Bill Ayres. These inconvenient facts are either ignored or tacitly excused by, um, progressives.

Let's roll the videotape and take a look at Obama's friends and political supporters:

And we already have reports of election fraud from you-know-who.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

"We will wait 'till hell freezes over for Obama's handlers understand quite clearly that their man, without a teleprompter, is incoherent."

They already figured it out:

"(CNN) — It appears Barack Obama's teleprompter is hitting the campaign trail.

The Democratic presidential nominee has never tried to hide the fact he delivers speeches off the device, though normally he doesn't use one at standard campaign rallies and town hall events.

But the Illinois senator used a teleprompter at both his Colorado events Monday — making for a particularly peculiar scene in Pueblo, where the prompter was set up in the middle of what is normally a rodeo ring."

So this man is supposed to lead us, with his vast experience, and of course, he will palaver with Ahmadinejad and whoever is in charge of Russia etc. But he can't talk without tripping over his own tongue, or without sticking his foot in it.

Hence the teleprompter.

McCain isn't perfect, and he has made gaffes also (who hasn't?) but he can at least get by without the need for the magic teleprompter screen. Maybe it's a minor point against all the scandal that has been ignored by the MSM and Obama (running with terrorists, lying about it? Who cares?!)

Not to quibble and putting politics aside, but do you really think that someone who "without a teleprompter, is inchoherent" could become president and editor-in-chief of the Harvard Law Review, graduate magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and lecture in constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School for 12 years?

Danny:

Thanks so much for the question.

There is a world of difference between ivory tower academia and the truly dangerous world of geo-politics.

And of course there is no connection between intelligence—Obama is smart—and being able to speak coherently about complicated world and national issues.

My view of Obama is that he's a classic leftist academic angling for political power. The reason his off-teleprompter remarks are so muddled is that he's forever trying to cover his far leftist agenda.

Hence he's always "clarifying" his statements, making his remarks "perfectly clear," and starting "from the beginning."

It's not nuance we're seeing, but a man who can't really say what he believes for if he did, he'd be finished.

I don't get why Annenberg would sponsor someone like Ayers. Not that I know much about Annenberg.

Kishke:

Annenberg's foundation is probably run by a gang of tin-foil liberals. I doubt that Annenberg has any idea how his money is being spent.

Good post, Robert. Maurice, I did not realize that Obama was travelling with a teleprompter now. He's got ten days before the debates. That is not a ringing endorsement of his ability to think on his feet. Oh, and good cartoon. I wish the cartoonist had put some lipstick on that moose . . . .

GW:

Thanks so much. As always, your blog is a beacon in the mainstream media's plague of darkness.

Northcan:

Thanks so much for your articulate and well-reasoned comment. Such arguments say far more about you than McCain-Palin. And we believe that such clarity is refreshing and enlightening.

pravda, the american liberal media, should report on bill ayres the way they are covering joe the plumber.

Posted by: jack douthit at October 18, 2008 05:28 AM

Jack:

The MSM gave Obama a pass on his membership in an openly rascist, Jew and America hating church. A pass on his association with Jeremiah Wright, a man who preaches that the American govt. deliberately spreads AIDS in the black community. A man Obama called his spiritual mentor. They have given him a pass on his close association withcrook Tony Rezko. They have given him a pass on his work for the radical leftists org ACORN. They have given him a pass on his support for third trimester abortions, a barbaric procedure by any standards—except the left. Why wouldn't they give him a pass on terrorists Bill Ayres and Bernardine Dohrn?

The truth is the MSM admire Obama's radical credentials. Obama is one of them, a crypto-socialist, and best of all, he's black. For the left all the stars are aligned in this one ruthless suit.

"We will wait 'till hell freezes over for Obama's handlers understand quite clearly that their man, without a teleprompter, is incoherent"

Have any you ever listend to our current president speak without a teleprompter? My 3rd grader is more eloquent. This is the man that does not read any newspapers or magazines, by his own admission, and coined "evil-doers".

America needs to wake up and smell the stick that was just pulled out of our butts.
The Democratic Party just screwed us again.
I do not understand why Bill Clinton was elected (stupid pothead and sexual degenerate). Obama was elected under the same conditions. Every thing that the Democratic Party has done and will do needs to be questioned. These people want to destroy everything that the Founding Fathers put in place to protect us. From what I have seen on the internet the very people who cast their vote for Barack Obama are mostly uneducated.
They have no clue as to what they have done. I hope the man does a great job in office and does not follow the people that he is associated with. Deception is what we need to look for. I am with Bill O'Reilly on this issue we need to watch the powers that be and make sure they do not put the stick back in. Remember that for the past few years the Democrats have been in charge and they are mostly to blame for what is going on in the world today.

This is an interesting piece of news.
The ultra-liberal Canadians dont even want Bill Ayres in their country, article link:

I watched Obama, by himself, no teleprompter, take on the entire Republican congress after Scott Brown's election. Obama demolished them on a rhetorical level, and won on a political level as well. Anyone who thinks Obama 'can't talk without a teleprompter' is either self-deluded or a liar.

Put everything else aside - even if his speeches aren't universally endearing he is one of the most articulate leaders in American history, get over it. Regan was a gifted speaker, but his speeches had basic messages for basic people.

Finally - to position Obama as a 'community organizer' would be to position Regan as 'b-movie actor', or Bush as a 'failed business man' I'll take the guy who graduated from Ivy league school and turned down major salary to start his career working for a Church, for little money, helping his own community - it is probably one of the most character building exercises you could possibly imagine. I was an officer in the Army; fighting is dangerous, but relatively easy on the brain. Trying to rebuild the community of Fallujah from the rubble and get it up and running - not just materially - is a much, MUCH harder task than routing out the bad guys from there.

So - if you want to take shots at Obama, A) get some credibility, B) stop making juvenile attacks on character, C) address policy and decision making and D) offer enlightened alternatives or keep your opinion of the internet, as your noise is jamming up the real work that needs to be done.
