The Hacking of Sarah Palin
The Lipstick Brigade: not welcome at Barbra Streisand's bash.
A left wing group has hacked Sarah Palin's private e-mail account, and published the contents on-line, including private family photos.
This is the totalitarian left at work.
This is what they will do to acquire power.
Imagine what the left will do if they gain power.
These are people with no sense of honor or decency.
The Democrats realize, deep in their guts, that Sarah Palin signals a tectonic shift in this presidential race. And liberals cannot tolerate that this fine and gutsy woman is an anti-abortion Republican who supports Israel, and does not pay lip service to moral equivalence.
The war against Governor Sarah Palin will go down as the most disgraceful and thuggish in American political history.
One cannot excuse this act as being outside the bounds of liberal ideology for the MSM have been attacking Governor Palin, with unrelenting savagery, since the first moment she appeared on the national scene.
As I wrote earlier, it will get worse. But Governor Palin can take it, she's tough and resilient. And we are already seeing a backlash among voters who deeply resent the hit jobs on a woman with whom so many in the heartland identify.
This salient fact still remains: Obama spent over 20-years as a proud member of a racist, America-hating, Jew-hating church. A church that honored Jew-hater Louis Farrakhan. A Church that preaches a so-called liberation theology that if espoused by white people, would be denounced by all decent citizens.
Question: Where were all the outraged liberals when these facts were revealed.
Answer: Like reliable, old time Stalinists, they were making excuses for the inexcusable.
But for Governor Sarah Palin, the hatred and poison are unrelenting.
Let's be honest, if a white politician was a member of an equivalent white racist church, his career would be finished. And properly so.
But Obama, and the entire congregation get a pass because liberals are, at the core, racists. They do not hold blacks to the same ethical and intellectual standards as whites.
In short, Democrats and their enablers in the media believe that hatred of whites, hatred of America, hatred of Jews and Israel are, well, just trivial details.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
I think calling Anonymous a group of "liberals" is a stretch. More like bored 14 year olds.
They also hacked John Edwards's online office in Second Life, messed with Lindsay Lohan's Myspace page, etc. etc. etc. If they were liberals they wouldn't have messed with Edwards.
They're just a bunch of bored kids who get their jollies out of messing with people online. Palin gave them an opportunity by being lax with her Yahoo e-mail and using it for state business, so they went after her.
But to blame this on Democrats or liberals in general is to distort the reality of the group.
They hang around on the /b/ forum of 4chan.org if you want to see them for yourself. It's mostly a venue for making offensive jokes, posting porn, and playing pranks like this. Left-wing revolution it is not.

The hypocrisy of the Left is their protection of the privacy of suspected terrorists even when information gained through wiretaps might save innocent lives on a massive scale. Sarah Palin is fair game, but murderers are granted "civil rights." Their moral compass is skewed toward the enemy.

RC:
Thanks for the comment.
In fact, we have no idea who the hackers are for they are anonymous criminals who have violated a Federal Law. We have no idea if the same people who hacked Lohan or Edwards hacked Palin.
Meanwhile, I'm waiting for them to hack Obama's email.
But I have a funny feeling that I'll be waiting forever.

RC: Okay, so the hackers were (perhaps) teenage pranksters. And Gawker, who posted the information?
Posted by: kishke at September 17, 2008 07:43 PM
Kishke:
Gawker is a liberal site.
Take a look at the comments on the Palin e-mails from their readership . They range from witty posts like: "I didn't know they have computers in Alaska," to the trenchant analysis of: "G-d Palin is a moron."
The Gawker readership is in turn condescending, nasty, and overjoyed regarding Palin, blue-collar Alaska, McCain's inability to use a computer keyboard (because of his war injuries) and the indefensible invasion of privacy.
The comments are heartless, and deeply revealing.

Gawker is a liberal site.
That's just my point.
Even if RC wishes to exempt the hackers from the leftist label, Gawker remains culpable and is leftist.

Kishke:
Thanks so much for making an important point which I was too dense to bring forth.
I was making the identification for my readership who may not be familiar with Gawker.

It looks like Jews are starting to get the message. See this from John Podhoretz:

They might have a good chance to catch the people responsible. See here:

Good post.
Nothing more totalitarian than those liberals.

Kishke:
1. Jews who vote for Obama are voting for a man who spent over 20-years in a Jew and Israel-hating, church.
Makes perfect sense, if you're a lever pulling Democrat.
2. Not exactly a bored 14-year old. What a shock.

Batya:
It's typical that liberals accuse the right of looking to stifle personal freedom, but it's the left who consistently seek ways to curb personal freedom, from gun rights to the latest move to shut down talk radio, under the guise of the "fairness doctrine."
