Obama Supporters: The Day After

There's a new clinical designation called The Post Obama Election Syndrome. Here's a report on a sad and serious state that grips Obama's supporters from sea to shining sea.

You deserve a good laugh.

Let's roll the videotape.

Obama Win Causes Obsessive Supporters To Realize How Empty Their Lives Are

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

1. No profanity.

2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

This is astounding in its awesomeness. We can only hope that this is a harbinger of loads of Obama-ness satire to come. I know, it's not likely, but that's the audacity of hope.

Got to love the Onion.

How true...

However, thanks to the coming "tax-cuts" the Obama cultists can sit at home, watch Oprah, Olbermann, and Maddow and collect checks from others that really work for a living.

The Brits used to be the kings of political comedy.

But from what I have seen over the last year that award now belongs in America.

Then again with the black guy, the old guy, Joey the shark and the hockey mom, there is plenty of material to work with.

Thanks, Robert, I needed this chuckle!

On the reality side, I have to say I'm pretty sure that evil, fearful times are ahead.

Funny!

Obama zombies. This will not last long. Some of the zombies will go back to trying to save the earth, whales, butterflies, etc. Others will be mindlessly arguing how the Zionists are now really in control of the White house since Rahm Emmanuel(Orthodox Jew, Dad was in Irgun) just accepted the position of Chief of Staff. As for me, as soon as I'm out of my zombie mode, if I ever get out of it, I'll try to help those poor beings shown in the video. I think the phrase, "We have to lay the groundwork for hope and change. Four years will be here sooner than you think."

Have you seen this?

http://www.zefrank.com/from52to48withlove/

For eight years, they called our President Chimpy McChimp, and Bushitler, and all sorts of other demeaning and disgusting things. They implied that 9/11 was an inside job. They treated the Vice President worse than they treated a dictator.

NOW they discover that it's better not to be spewing such hatred? NOW they realize that we can't prosper or fight off enemies if we think of each *other* as enemies?

Excuse me. I will respect the President because he is the President of my beloved country and I am called to do so both by my G-d and by my allegiance to the United States of America. I do not and will not respect the people who tore us down for eight years at home and abroad. I notice they did not apologize for that behavior.

Sorry. I don't believe them for a stinking second. If McCain had won, they'd be still spewing.

Ralphie:

We're going to have a great time ridiculing Obama's zombie supporters. That's my hope for, ahem, change.

Jack:

Their offices are right here in LA. I often drive by and just laugh.

Lance:

Yeah, soooo looking forward to paying even more taxes so the U.S. can turn into one giant DMV.

Beth:

Your welcome.

Ted:

Hollywood used to make the best comedies in the world. The screwball comedies of the 30's ar, to this day, fresh and laugh out loud funny. Some of the best comedy directors, writers and actors were Irish Americans, fueled with memories of the old country and lots and lots of booze.

Sadly, most Hollywood comedies now rely on bathroom and gross-out humor, which has its place, of course, but a steady diet of the stuff is not funny.

End rant.

Maura:

I'm not optimistic, but I will wait and see. Meanwhile, Wall Street is not celebrating Obama's election. The Dow plunged right after his election and once again today.

Ouch.

Shira:

Rahm Emanuel is not frum. Sorry.

Posted by: Robert J. Avrech [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 6, 2008 03:24 PM

Dr. Carol:

I have nothing but contempt for these people. Suddenly they have discovered civility, suddenly they have decided that this is a great country.

Sorry, this country was great before Obama was elected.

And their sincerity only comes when it's to their benefit.
