Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

" ... The Did You Love Leah Edition. ... "
so,
we'd be interested to hear a frum screenwriter's take on it ;-)
surely the (Jimmy Choo?)
'Hollywood-fashion-Chalitza-boot'
deserves at least a Seraphic Footwear comment :-)
btw,
that scene was shot in Park Slope a few months ago,
and i met the 'Rabbis' as i was passing by,
one of them spoke about the plot, but said that the title was going to be 'UnOrthodox'
'Loving Leah' sounds better for a Hallmark presentation ;-)

I think we should all be happy when Hollywood produces a film that treat frum Jews and halachic Judaism with respect and love.
