Stunning News: Obama Gets Even Cozier with Jew-haters

(Top left clockwise) Barack and Michelle Obama and radical Leftist anti-Israel Professor Edward Said at a May 1998 Arab community event in Chicago at which Edward Said gave the keynote speech. (Bill Baar's West Side), Former PLO operative and close friend of the Obama's Rashid Khalidi, Barack Obama and his racist minister Jeremiah Wright, and close terrorist friend William Ayers. h/t Gateway Pundit.
Let's review:
1. President Obama spent over 20-years as a proud member of a Jew and America hating church. A church that honored the well known Jew-hater Louis Farrakhan.
2. President Obama was bestest friends with American terrorist and virulent anti-Israeli trust fund baby, Bill Ayres.
3. President Obama also cultivated a more than cozy relationship with prominent Arab Muslim Jew-hater Rhashid Khalidi.
4. Since coming into office President Obama has appointed Susan Rice, and Samantha Power to positions of power. Neither woman has any affection for Israel whatsoever. Obama also tried to appoint Chas Freeman, a genuine Saudi and Chinese agent, to the sensitive post of Chairman of the National Intelligence Council.
5. So why would anyone be surprised that Obama is realigning American foreign policy away from Israel and towards the terrorist saturated Arab Muslim world. Syria, a rogue state that murders every Lebanese politician who tries to get out from under Syria domination, is now high on Obama's list of potential close allies. It's like declaring that The Crips or The Bloods are actually really sweet guys.
6. Seraphic Secret pointed out, before the elections, that Barack Obama could not be trusted as a reliable ally to Israel, hence he could not be trusted to be a custodian of American power.
7. Nevertheless, American Jews voted for this man in overwhelming numbers.
8. The excuse being that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats.
9. Which is demonstrably false.
10. Seraphic Secret predicted that Barack Obama would emerge as Jimmy Carter II.
11. We were wrong.
12. Barack Obama is far worse.
13. Netanyahu will have to stand up not only to a bunch of lunatic, genocidal Muslims, Shia and Sunni, but to a newly hostile and clueless White House.
14. America is screwed. A trillion times over.
15. But the genocidal mullahs in Iran are happy puppies.
On March 12, [IDF Chief of Staff] Ashkenazi left for a five-day visit to the United States meant to lobby the Obama administration to abandon the planned U.S. dialogue with Iran. Ashkenazi, scheduled to meet with the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee, was expected to have brought new Israeli intelligence on Iran's nuclear weapons and missile programs.
But the diplomatic sources said the administration made it clear that nobody in a policy-making position was available to sit with Ashkenazi. This included the president, Vice President Joseph Biden, Gates, National Intelligence director Dennis Blair or Mullen.
Ashkenazi has obtained a meeting with National Security Advisor James Jones. But the sources said the meeting would focus on U.S. demands for Israel to ease military restrictions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
"The Obama administration believes that Israel is as much or more of a problem as it is an ally, at least until Israel's disagreements with its neighbors are resolved," former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, said.
Bolton envisioned that the White House would pressure Israel to legitimize Hamas and Hizbullah. At the same time, he said, Obama would continue to woo Iran.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
Between this, AIG, and the Speaker of the House telling illegals they are patriotic for breaking our immigration laws, I can't stand it any more.
I'm spending the evening watching Galaxy Quest.

I remember during the campaign, there was a video of Obama and Rashid Khalidi that the LA Times had - and they refused to make it public.
Just one of the many reasons I despise the mainstream media which, incidently, is becoming less and less mainstream.
And it has perplexed me why so many American Jews voted for Obama - even with what we did know.
Posted by: Bill Brandt at March 18, 2009 03:45 PM
Sadly, Bill, the resaon American Jews voted for Obama...and the other depraved liberals that roam the halls of congress...is that they have more loyalty to liberalism, than to their own faith.
Meanwhile, despite this recent upswing in the market, our economy is hurting badly....not mention the coming mess from Europe and abroad....and our dear leader, the "Mighty O" is making chummy with Leno(I guess he is the new Murrow ;) and filling in his NCAA tournement brackets.
As Robert wrote above.....The Dear Leader is well on his way to digging a much larger crater than Carter ever could.

Lance: I have had many discussions about this with my conservative Jewish friend - as he has had with Dennis Prager. I don't think any of them (us) have come to a definite conclusion as to why the overwhelming majority of Jews are very liberal - even to the point of harming Israel.
Nor can I understand why they are for strong gun control - one would think after Nazi Germany and the various pogroms in Poland and Russia over the centuries, you'd think every Jew would be a hard core fire breathing NRA member.
Robert and/or Karen said that the orthodox Jews are pretty conservative while the secular Jews are liberal - but why?
I have a foreboding feeling about the future - I think we are in for some ugly stuff. What is sad is how politicized the "recovery" has become - with this AIG mess, I heard on the radio during "Client Number 9"'s - a.k.a. Elliot Spitzer - during his vendetta against Wall Street as NY Governor he forced out Hank Greenberg, who spent 40 years building AIG and was/is a conservative Republican.
The CEO who replaced him got the company into this derivative trading which is how they got where they got - Can't verify this but Spitzer was such a jerk it is certainly believable.
Then you have these hypocrites in Congress railing against these bonuses (don't get me wrong I don't like them either - but should we be angrier at the $170 Billion politicians have given them or the $170 million in bonuses? - anyway both Obama and Chris Dodd have had heavy campaign contributions from AIG...
And don't get me started on Fannie Mae and Franklin Raines...
What time is Galaxy Quest on?
I think I may join Dr. Carol at the TV ;-)

Not to rain on the Galaxy Quest parade, I enjoyed the movie myself as an entertaining bit of silliness...but Alan Rickman, who has one of the major roles in the film (and of course, in the Harry Potter movies), is a first class Israel hater, repulsively so, even by Hollywood standards. He'd fit right in with Obama's group of Jew/Israel haters.

Robert,
I can only repeat here what I said @ Joshuapundit. We can't let ourselves stay screwed.
There is no place for us to run to!Unlike many of the world's unfortunates, we don't live in some Asian or East-European hell hole.We live in America.
This is the place people run to, not away from.
Does saying this make me feel better? A little, unfortunately these days, not so much.:(

Responses to the news of the day:
1> Plant a garden. I just planted the tomatoes and strawberries yesterday. Some seeds are started and will join in 2-3 weeks, which gives me plenty of time to clean for Pesach. LOL
2> Join jpfo.org and educate yourself on our reasons for needing to belong.
3> Set up a home pantry with enough food for your family (and pets) for at least 6 months (a year would be best.)
4> Keep required medications stocks at 3 months or better.
5> Learn to do simple home repairs yourself.
6> Find people in the community with barterable skills and keep the list handy. (No cash=no recordable income/tax)
7> Learn how to protect yourself and family.
8> Keep a gal or two of bleach for purifying water.
9> In California, the threat of earthquakes are very real and I have had emergency kits of various sizes for at least the last 15 years. Tents, sleeping bags and a medical kit containing food bars and water in the car, since the car is usually where you are is a good start.
10> Learn basic cook-from-scratch recipes: breads, soups and salads would be great starts. Learning about basic nutritition so that you can keep healthy while maximizing time food will last is a good idea, too.
11> Buy from LOCAL people as much as possible. You may pay more, but keeping small businesses in business is most important.

If President Obama is the Jew-hater that you claim then please answer this:
Why did he choose a Jewish (and very pro-Israel) Chief of Staff? (The President's Chief of Staff arguably being the government's single most powerful non-elected position).
To say that Obama was best friends with Bill Ayres is completely inaccurate. To say he is very good friends with David Axelrod is accurate. Axelrod ran his campaign and is his senior advisor and, oh yeah, he's Jewish. (What government position did Obama give Bill Ayres again?)
Also Jewish are two of Obama's deputy Secretaries of State, his Middle East Policy Advisor, the Director of the OMB, the head of the Middle East desk at the NSC, and other senior administration officials.

Wes:
We never said that President Obama is a Jew-hater. We are saying that by way of personal temperament and leftist ideology, Obama is quite comfortable with Jew-haters and Jew hating regimes.
Now, I want you to ask yourself, and please be honest: If John McCain, or any Republican had a history of associating with members of the KKK or other racist groups, would you be so very tolerant?
I think not.

But you basically did say Obama was a Jew-hater. Just look at your headline. If I wrote an article titled "[Fill In A Name] Gets Even Cozier with White Supremacists" you could safely assume I'd be calling [Fill In A Name] a racist.
The larger question is: Are you simply trying to slander? Or are you trying to reveal what is true?
If you are aiming for the first then well played. But if you intend for the second then you have to look at the full body of evidence, not just the minority of that fits your bias.
Obama had an association with Ayers and Wright. That's a true and fair point. He also selected for the single most powerful unelected/unconfirmed job in the entire government a Jewish man whose father was Israeli and who volunteered with the Israeli army during the first Gulf War. That's true too. You can't just ignore that. Further, Obama has lots of Jewish advisers and had has appointed several Jews to important roles. As far as I know he hasn't given a government job to a single Jew-hater.
With your hypothetical I'd look at the objective truth of it too. If a politician (regardless of party) was associated with a Klan member 20 years ago then I'd absolutely wonder whether he held racist views. And if he denounced the Klan, clearly rejected their views, had black friends before ever running for office, had a black campaign manager and chose a black Chief of Staff then, yeah, of course I'd be tolerant. It wouldn't be true to be otherwise.
Posted by: Wes at March 22, 2009 01:42 PM
Wes:
Again: I never called Obama a Jew-hater. I have been very careful about such a label because I believe that it should be reserved for true Jew-haters. Obama is a moral weakling who has little problem sitting down and making friendly with Jew-haters.
This is not insignificant.
Obama's association with Wright and his racist church only ended during his presidential campaign, when the friendship/mentorship became a political liability. This was not in the deep dark past. Twenty years as a close friend to a genuine Jew-hater reveals a shaky moral compass.
As for: "Some of my best friends are Jews," well, for most Democrats the party and its leftist ideology comes way before Judaism. Just because someone is born Jewish does not make them faithful or even caring Jews.
Sheesh, most of my friends in Hollywood are Jews and they couldn't care less about Israel or Judaism. In fact, many of them are actively hostile to both. Just look at Roseann Barr's blog where she accuses Israel of launching rockets from Gaza to frame the poor terrorists.
All the Jewish advisors in the world cannot mask the fact that President Obama is, by nature and ideology, not a reliable supporter of Israel. Just look at his groveling video to the Holocaust denying, Holocaust yearning Iranians. He might as well have put on a bullseye and said "Shoot me."
Further, the Israelis know with whom they are dealing and that's one of the major reasons they elected Bibi Netanyahu and why Netanyahu just chose Gen. Ya'alon for Defense Minister. Bibi and Ya'alon are not afraid to move against the Persian threat. And it must be done. Even the Arab Gulf states know that Obama won't do anything but talk and smile. That's why Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc. are quietly begging Israel to mount an operation; they are even quietly sharing intelligence with Israel and leaving the U.S. out of the loop.
BTW, Samantha Power is a genuine Jew-hater. And Susan Rice is no friend to Israel.

I think your post gave a false impression. So I'm glad you clarified: President Obama is NOT a Jew-hater.
BTW, whatever you may think of Rahm Emanuel he is not some one who was simply born Jewish and that's it. Has any other president ever had a chief of staff who volunteered to go work for a foreign army during a war the way Emanuel did for Israel?
As for how reliably Obama will support Israel, time will tell. He has no clear track record one way or the other. This is all the more reason to look objectively at what he actually does rather than fixate upon rumors and predictions of what some people think he might do.
For what it is worth, Obama's proposed budget includes a slight increase in aid to Israel in 2010 with larger increases in the out years (which rather contradicts your point #5).
There are several Israeli generals and government officials who back U.S. talks with Iran, so proposing that in itself isn't anti-Israeli.
President Bush's policy was basically to do nothing: don't talk to Iran but also keep Israel from talking military action against it. That was going nowhere. What Obama is doing could work out badly, I agree. But it also has the **start** of a smarter strategy: Make a major public push for diplomacy and if/when that doesn't work the U.S. is in a much better position to garner international support for military action.
Posted by: Wes at March 22, 2009 04:02 PM
Wes:
As you say, time will tell. But Israel is already proceeding with her plans to confront Iran under the belief that the Obama administration is a weak vessel in regard to international Islamic terrorism.
Let's catch up in, oh, say 6 months and we'll see how it all shakes out.
Rahm is a deeply partisan Democrat who is Obama's attack dog and heavily tied in to the old Chicago machine.
I know the clan well and can guarantee that Rahm's Zionism and Judaism in no way mitigate his loyalty to President Obama.
BTW, The slight increase of aid to Israel comes with a whole bunch of new strings attached that have never been imposed by any other administration.

Israel ALREADY had plans to confront Iran. The Bush administration would not support them and forced Israel not to carry them out.
Tell me, all else being equal which of these two presidents would you rather have:
A) One who will not offer to talk to Iran but who also won't take military action against Iran and won't support Israel in doing so.
- or -
B) One who will offer to talk to Iran but will also take military action (or support Israel's doing so) if diplomatic efforts fail to reign in Iran.
I say President B is better for the U.S. and ultimately better for Israel. I hope you would too.
We know President Bush was choice A. We don't yet know if Obama is B. You could point to legitimate signs that he won't be. I could point to legitimate ones he will be. Truth is, neither of us know.
And since neither of us know it seems prudent to keep an open mind.
Your above post is so frustrating to me because of how closed minded it is.
You may not like Emanuel's style or political party but his appointment is still a huge indication that Obama is not getting "even cozier with Jew-haters" as you claim he is. Any fair, open minded assessment would acknowledge that.
You may not like that the U.S. placed conditions on Israeli aid, but the fact is that Obama decided to increase aid to Israel in a year when the economic situation gave him all the cover he needed to cut it. That's significant. AIPAC itself said that the Obama aid proposal would strengthen Israel! Yet you ignore what even AIPAC admits and write that Obama is "realigning American foreign policy away from Israel."
So, yes, we can check back in after six months. But if President Obama does take action to strength Israel in these months will you be willing to see it? Or will you do what you do in this post and fixate only upon those things which fit with the anti-Obama conclusions you've already made.

Wes:
In fact President Bush talked with Iran for all 8 years of his administration. The talks were carried on through various levels in the White House and State Dept. What Bush would not do is sit down and publicly talk with the Mullahs thereby granting their genocidal and holocaust denying views legitimacy. This seems to me to be a mature and sane policy.
I often expressed my displeasure with President Bush's policy of not supporting Israel in an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
Look, President Obama already received a quick and definitive reply from the Iranians, so according to your thesis he will now stand behind an Israeli strike.
However, I believe that he'll continue to grovel to the Mullahs.
If I am wrong and President Obama does stand up to Iran and supports Israel in a strike I will be proud and happy and I will exclaim it on my blog.
That goes without saying.
BTW, AIPAC aligns itself as a non-partisan group. They support whichever party is in power and never make waves publicly.

Are you guys nuts???? Anti-Semitic? Obama's got so many Jews in his administration (Bernanke, Rahm Emmanuel, etc.) it sounds like a f*cking Jewish wedding reception!!!
If anything, he is too soft on Jews/Israel. Look at the recent spying incident involving Jewish Congresswoman Jane Harman and AIPAC. Cover up Jewish spying problems, why not? And where is Obama. He is getting tough on the "Iran" bomb, well what about the Zionist bomb. Oh yeah, that would be anti-semitic, as only Jews have the right to bomb others, eh, Obama???
He said nothing while the Israelis bombed the crap out of Gaza- including use of banned phosphorus-laden bombs and continue to deny them aid to enter. He continues to give the 'poor' Jewish state- which claims how rich it is- with so much aid rather than the poor Palestinians. Why? Dammit Jews have enough money!
All this bitching about anti-Semitism. Hell, what makes you Jews (and your ass-worshipping Jesus freak pals) think Israel deserves so much??? holocaust happened long ago, time to move on!!!
