My grandmother, Chana Gittel, usd to read Charles Dickens
out loud to me. It was one of the ways she learned English.
She would have adored Haveil Havalim.
Shiloh Muse presents Haveil Havalim #217 The Discount Edition.
And here's a fine illustration of the, ahem, cycle of violence in Gaza.

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
Great video, Robert!

Mr. Avrach,
As a sabre and observent jew I find your site wonderful. I moved to new york at age 5 w/ my holocaust survivor parents.
However, i write to you about a treatment that I've written about a modern continuation of the SANA TOKEF.Every year when i go over the tefilah it brings me to tears, so I wrote a modern updated version.I and others who have read it,think its a pretty good story. Any suggestions how I can make this a success and bring this to the screen, large or small.
