Navy Heroes Face Court Martial
![]()
March 31, 2004: Barbarians chant “Allahu Akhbar” God is great, as the
charred and mutilated bodies of American contractors hang from a bridge
over the Euphrates River in Fallujah, Iraq.
In 2004 Four American civilian contractors who provided security for food convoys were ambushed, tortured, and burned alive. Their bodies were hoisted on a bridge while the fanatic crowd chanted: “Long live Islam!” and “God is great!”
A few days ago, four Navy SEALS captured the terrorist ringleader of the Fallujah atrocity.
You would think that they would be hailed as heroes.
But you would be wrong.
Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.
The three, all members of the Navy's elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral's mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.
Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.
Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.
Full story here.
A few observations:
1. Keep in mind that in all Arab Muslim terrorist training manuals are detailed instructions on how to work and subvert the American system. Terrorists are ordered to charge their captors with unprovoked assault and, naturally, torture. The terrorists understand the propaganda value of such charges, especially under Obama, a man who seems more concerned with garnering international adoration than with national security.
2. I'm pretty sure the SEALS are pressing for a court martial in order to embarrass the nit-wits who brought the charges against them.
3. The greatest enemy facing our military is the political correctness that is trickling down from our, ahem, commander-in-chief and his gang of craven internationalists. We have already seen scores of our troops gunned down by a Muslim terrorist embedded in the U.S. army. Nidal Malik Hasan's Islamist beliefs were well known to the FBI and to the Army, but political correctness stayed the many hands that should have placed this terrorist in custody.
4. Let's say one of the SEALS did punch the Fallujah terrorist in the mouth. So what? We're at war with a bunch of dirt bags who are convinced that they represent a superior civilization—the Islamic Umma—yet their world is a swamp of ignorance and barbarism. They refuse to take responsibility for their own backwardness and blame others—Jews, Americans, Christians, etc,—for their situation. Punching is too good for such creatures.
5. Speaking of creatures, let us not forget that this atrocity prompted Markos Moulitsas of the Daily Kos to spit, “I feel nothing over the death of mercenaries. They aren't in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to make war for profit. Screw them.”

Comments
Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.
1. No profanity.2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism. That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.
I would love to be a juror on that case. Can you say, "Nullification"? Amazing too that we hear none of this in the MSM.

I'm living is a bizarro world.
Heroes are enemies.
Enemies are heroes.
And we have the first American President who is embarrassed by the nation he leads.
If I wouldnt know better this sounds like an episode of the "Twilight Zone".
Unfortunately for us its reality.

Ok, so if I understand this correctly, a terrorist can mastermind the capture, brutal torture & burning alive of soldiers...but will whimper an "ouch, don't touch me, I have rights" B.S. (excuse my language) and his 'cry' will be legitimized by the victim's country? Am I missing something?
Why is America being allowed to be cut off at the knees...or even higher, I dare say?
G.W. wasn't perfect, but I miss him. This kind of baloney wouldn't fly with him. No way. UGH!!!!

The only way we can lose a war is from the inside. Our soldiers will never lose a war when they are allowed to fight the enemy.
Our politicians are the only weakness our soldiers have.

Robert, you had me agreeing the whole way through, until you brought in Markos Moulitsas. That cretin is unworthy of any argument or discussion and only takes away from your valid point.
Seriously, the more ink normal people give that slimebag, the more exposure he gets.

if a Navy Seal had made physical contact with this scumbag, he woulda done more than left him with a bloody lip ... which leaves me to believe the Seals did nothing ... because if they had, I doubt the "d.... bag" would be able to stand up much less walk ... but don't get indigestion from the news, Robert ... pretend its shabbat ... happy Thanksgiving Aryeh

Not comfortable speculating on the rest, but your point #2 is dead on. "Admiral's Mast" ("Article 15" in non-Naval parlance), used properly, is offered when the boss wishes to punish you without wrecking your career. It isn't offered by somebody who thinks you deserve to fry. I've done Article 15s on dozens of soldiers, put several out of the Army (full benefits).
In the worst cases, worst bosses charge you because they want to quietly dispose of something they either should have dealt with internally or something that would lose at court martial. Think CPT Sobel in "Band of Brothers."
You may accept the lesser punishment, or opt for the potentially more severe punishment of a court martial. You only take the latter if you aren't willing to "cop a plea" and say you were wrong. That's rare among war criminals. Not rare among SEALs.

If the SEALs hit this miserable momzer - if - that is a kiss on the lips compared to what was done at Falluja to those poor contractors - and about which no one in the Arab World said a word........but supposedly flush a Koran and wow!
I agree with one of the other comments - we are in the Bizarro World!

Dear Lance: According to many liberals, heroes were enemies and enemies were heroes during the VIETNAM War.
Dear Rachel: Winston S. Churchill-please, no postings on him and the White Paper or him and the murder of Lord Moyne-I know all about that, once said " A prisoner of war is a man who tries to kill you and fails, and then asks you not to kill him."
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!!
