The Terrible Reality of, Um, Reality

When first I heard of the idea to build a mosque at Ground Zero, I assumed it was a vulgar joke intended to mock Islam.

Sadly, it quickly became abundantly clear that this scheme was quite genuine and being fast-tracked by the ever reliable American left, willfully oblivious to the tactics of Islamists and the brutality of Sharia, the strategic goal of international Islamists who are overwhelmingly funded by Wahhabist Saudi Arabia.

Stealth or silent terrorism has been, in modern times, advanced by The Muslim Brotherhood, who advocate infiltrating non-Sharia societies—they are poised to grab a chunk of power in Egypt when Mubarak dies—and slowly but surely insinuating Sharia into every corner of life. At some point, the center of gravity, demographically and politically, will shift in favor of the Islamists and freedom will be defeated.

In America, The Muslim Brotherhood counts on the political left to advance their brutal 7th century theocratic program.

The oh-so-tolerant left can be counted on to demonize large corporations—but big government is fab-u-lous—and kvetch endlessly and tediously about the dangers of, ahem, global warming. With great skill, the Brotherhood, like Al Qaeda, appropriates Liberal language and bumper-sticker philosophy. They talk about tolerance and interfaith dialogue, they speak of the poor and the oppressed, and lately—what a shock—they earnestly call for the redistribution of wealth. Naturally, like the Left, stealth jihadists cheerfully carry water for the genocidal yearning Palestinians. These jihadists self-righteously blather about peace, never explaining that peace for the Islamist means submission to radical Islam, the eradication of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, all isms not Muslim.

Give Peace a Chance, Islamist Style

Naturally, Sunni Muslims consider Shia Muslims to be heretics, and Shia reciprocate. It's up for grabs which sect will dominate and attempt to liquidate the other. In truth, the only true Islamophobia exists and is encouraged by Islamist dogma.

To clarify: Seraphic Secret is not anti-Islam.

We are anti-Sharia.

Anyhoo.

Peace for the Islamist also means torture and death to homosexuals, bisexuals, transgender, and whatever sexuality does not conform to Islamist doctrine.

Oh, and women are cattle.

In America, the left have one argument in favor of building the Ground Zero Mosque: It ls legal.

Well, gee, thanks so much for enlightening us.

The legality of the proposed mosque has never been questioned.

We ask: Is it moral? Is it appropriate? And hey, here's the language the left claims as its own: Is it sensitive to the feelings of the 9-11 families?

Obama, Alinsky, Tourettes and Yup, Israel

In the crude manner in which Obama has interjected himself into the controversy, Barack Obama is unmasked as an irredeemable Alinsky leftist.

To a Muslim audience, he gives the distinct impression that he is in favor of the mosque. The very next day, and a thousand miles away, he refuses to comment on “the wisdom of building the mosque.”

Typical Alinsky tactics. Say anything to make your audience believe that you support them.

But Alinsky was writing before the new media. Now, when Obama shape-shifts, the intellectual dishonesty, the cowardly dissembling are flashed across You Tube and the blogosphere.

The American people now understand that Obama is a rigid ideologue with a severe case of political Tourettes.

Which is why his poll numbers should hit the 30's in the next few weeks and by 2012 he will go the way of Jimmy Carter.

Take my word for it, Obama will spend his post-presidency bashing, you guessed it, Israel.

Caroline Glick understands that Obama's position on the Ground Zero Mosque is just another form of bigotry, a radical and ugly reflex in support of Jew-hatred.

But for Obama, there are some groups who must be denied the same civil rights he upholds as absolute in his defense of the plan to build a mosque at Ground Zero. As Obama has made clear since his first days in office, he believes that Jews should be denied the right to their property in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria simply because they are Jews.

Obama is so firm in his belief that Jews should be denied civil rights in Israel's capital and in the heartland of Jewish history that he has provoked multiple crises in his relations with Israel to advance this bigoted view. Almost from his first day in office Obama has struck out a radical position in which he has insisted that Jews must be prohibited from building anything - synagogues, homes, nurseries, schools - in Judea, Jerusalem and Samaria on land they own. Jews - Israeli and non-Israeli - should be barred from exercising their property rights even if their construction plans have already been approved "in accordance with local laws and ordinances."

At the same time, Obama has insisted that Israel take no action to enforce its "local laws and ordinances" against illegal structures built by Arabs in Jerusalem, Judea, or Samaria.

Next month the deeply discriminatory and legally dubious 10-month moratorium on Jewish building in Judea and Samaria that Obama coerced Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu into instituting is set to end. So now Obama is putting the full weight of the White House on Israel to again coerce Netanyahu into prolonging the discriminatory ban that denies the civil rights and property rights of Jews simply because they are Jewish.

Obama claims to be embracing the nullification of Jewish civil right in the interests of peace. In his stated view, to forge peace in the Middle East it is necessary for the Palestinians to achieve statehood. But it hard to see how the establishment of a Palestinian state squares with Obama's purported dedication to civil rights.

In a briefing with the Egyptian media last week Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas told reporters that no Jews will be allowed to live in a future Palestinian state. He also said that while he would agree to allow NATO forces to deploy in the future Palestinian state, he would not permit any Jewish soldiers to serve in the NATO units stationed on the territory of such a state. As he put it, "I will not agree that there will be Jews among NATO forces and I will not allow even one Israeli to live amongst us on the Palestinian soil."

The notion that an inherently anti-Semitic Palestinian state, predicated on Jew hatred that strong, could possibly live at peace with Israel is simply ridiculous. But tellingly, in all the American pressure that has been placed on Abbas to begin direct negotiations with Israel, at no time has the administration been reported to have insisted that Abbas abandon his anti-Semitism. Obama has made no statement addressing the fact that the Palestinians demand that Jews be barred from living in the future Palestinian state. He has certainly not objected to this position although it squares with none of the American values of tolerance and property rights he upheld so strongly in his remarks on the Ground Zero mosque.

So the ideology Obama holds so strongly that it provokes him to take positions antithetical to the political interests of his party during an election season is not civil rights. Rather it has to do with his commitment to advancing the interests of a specific group or groups over the interests of other specific groups. In the case of the Ground Zero mosque he prefers the rights of Muslims over the values of the overwhelming majority of Americans. In the case of the Palestinians, he prefers their anti-Semitic nationalism over the civil rights of Jews.

Liberal Media Conspired to Kill Stories About Jeremiah Wright

Ever since Barack Obama's close association with the racist, Jew and America hater Jeremiah Wright was revealed, it has been our contention that Barack Obama, who boasted that Wright was his spiritual mentor, is not fit for the Presidency.

If a Republican politician were unmasked as a follower of a white hate group, you can be sure his viability as a candidate and his career would be over in about ten seconds—as it should be.

There is no difference between the vulgar race hustling of Jeremiah Wright and some grimy white supremacist.

That Obama spent over 20 years as a faithful member of Wright's so-called church is a moral outrage. That Obama denied ever hearing Wright's hate speech—“Israel, that dirty word”—is another obvious lie from a serial liar.

We understood why the mainstream media shrugged off the story. For liberals, Obama was never Obama. He was black. A hard leftist. Identity politics are at the core of the leftist/liberal/progressive belief system.

Nothing, not truth, not decency, not even the basic journalistic ethics, would be allowed to stand in the way of this false political messiah.

Now, the Daily Caller has published a series of leaked documents—the left does not have a monopoly on whistle blowers—from a private, off-the-record email group called Journolist. This clique of seething hysterics and self-righteous progressives includes several hundred journalists, professors and activists. The emails clearly demonstrate that members of the liberal media literally conspired to ignore and downplay the Wright story. Further, these so-called journalists—propagandists is a more apt description—plotted to besmirch the reputations—“Call them racists”—of good and honest members of the political opposition.

Indeed, the charge of racism is once again being used by the liberal media against the Tea Party, against Sarah Palin, against anyone who opposes Barack Obama's far left policies. We are labeled racists because the Democrats/Progressives/Liberals have no real arguments and so they default to the most toxic charge they can conjure.

Of course, these liberals are simply projecting their own deeply ingrained racial prejudices—liberals are obsessed with race and gender—to the Conservative enemy. It's the exact same psychological mechanism whereby Hamas and Hizbullah, Islamo-fascist movements, label Israel/Jews Nazis.

Perhaps one of the most revealing and disgusting revelations comes from a well known, ahem, feminist:

Katha Pollitt... didn’t disagree on principle, though she did sound weary of the propaganda. “I hear you. but I am really tired of defending the indefensible. The people who attacked Clinton on Monica were prissy and ridiculous, but let me tell you it was no fun, as a feminist and a woman, waving aside as politically irrelevant and part of the vast rightwing conspiracy Paula, Monica, Kathleen, Juanita,” Pollitt said.

Pollitt understood that this was filthy work—she admits that Clinton is a sexual predator and a possible rapist—but she was willing to go along because, well, the ends always justifies the means for fanatic members of the radical left.

No need to wonder how a mass-murdering Communist dictatorship triumphed for so long in the Soviet Union, just gaze at the American left and we discern the identical ideological stance, strategies and authoritarian tactics. And of course these documents reveal scores of leftist intellectuals aping the Soviet hacks who disappeared and manufactured news for Pravda. Of course, not one person on this listserv mentions right and wrong, truth or falsehood. For these creatures, It's all about justifying lies and libeling the opposition.

This might be the most significant story of the Obama presidency. In fact, it is the story of Obama's presidency: the liberal media conspired to carry water for a candidate with few qualifications—suddenly, being a community organizer was the apex of a resume—for the nation's highest office. In fact, the liberal media volunteered to serve as footstool to an Alinsky thug who is now driving America to Socialism and fiscal insolvency.

Look for the liberal media to:

1. Ignore this story.

2. Charge that, duh, we are racists.

It was the moment of greatest peril for then Sen. Barack Obama’s political career. In the heat of the presidential campaign, videos surfaced of Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, angrily denouncing whites, the U.S. government and America itself. Obama had once bragged of his closeness to Wright. Now the black nationalist preacher’s rhetoric was threatening to torpedo Obama’s campaign.

The crisis reached a howling pitch in mid-April, 2008, at an ABC News debate moderated by Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos. Gibson asked Obama why it had taken him so long – nearly a year since Wright’s remarks became public - to dissociate himself from them. Stephanopoulos asked, “Do you think Reverend Wright loves America as much as you do?”

Watching this all at home were members of Journolist, a listserv comprised of several hundred liberal journalists, as well as like-minded professors and activists. The tough questioning from the ABC anchors left many of them outraged. “George [Stephanopoulos],” fumed Richard Kim of the Nation, is “being a disgusting little rat snake.”

Others went further. According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”

Obama Lies, Taxes Rise

Hey, do you recall when President Obama emphatically stated that the penalty not to sign up for health insurance was not, repeat not, a tax?

Time for a good old-fashioned flashback. And do pay attention to my very favorite moment when Obama laughs—a classic Obama snark moment—at the definition of taxes because he's so much smarter than everybody else.

Remember how you said to yourself: “Self, the President is lying.”

Well, turns out that even though you didn't go to Haa-vard, your common sense was, er, right on the money.

Even The New York Times, practically a mouthpiece for the Obama administration, has to report the obvious:

When Congress required most Americans to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty, Democrats denied that they were creating a new tax. But in court, the Obama administration and its allies now defend the requirement as an exercise of the government’s “power to lay and collect taxes.”

And that power, they say, is even more sweeping than the federal power to regulate interstate commerce.

Administration officials say the tax argument is a linchpin of their legal case in defense of the health care overhaul and its individual mandate, now being challenged in court by more than 20 states and several private organizations.

While Congress was working on the health care legislation, Mr. Obama refused to accept the argument that a mandate to buy insurance, enforced by financial penalties, was equivalent to a tax.

“For us to say that you’ve got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase,” the president said last September, in a spirited exchange with George Stephanopoulos on the ABC News program “This Week.”

When Mr. Stephanopoulos said the penalty appeared to fit the dictionary definition of a tax, Mr. Obama replied, “I absolutely reject that notion.”

But Obama is not just lying.

Remember, this is a man whose greatest claim to fame as a candidate was that he was a community organizer—code for Socialist.

And it's well known that Obama used Saul Alinky's Rules for Radicals as his bible.

One of Alinsky's most important rules is to work within the system in order to destroy the system, and to align yourself with whomever and whatever serves this final purpose.

In short, get it done, no matter what.

Amorality as an ordinary tactic.

This is not just a cute metaphor. It's an admission, actually a boast, that evil is the inspiration for radical activity.

Tisha B'Av, the Fast of the Ninth of Av, is a day of mourning to commemorate the many tragedies that have befallen the Jewish people, many of which coincidentally have occurred on the ninth of Av.

Tisha B'Av primarily commemorates the destruction of the first and second Temples, both of which were destroyed on the ninth of Av (the first by the Babylonians in 586 B.C.E.; the second by the Romans in 70 C.E.).

Although this holiday is primarily meant to commemorate the destruction of the Temple, it is appropriate to consider on this day the many other tragedies of the Jewish people, many of which occurred on this day, most notably the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492.

Krauthammer Rips Obama's Fatuous Nuclear Summit

Charles Krauthammer unmasks Obama's absurd nuclear summit, a kabuki theater of nothingness.

The North Koreans and the Iranians must be laughing themselves silly.

But in all fairness, Obama has managed to contain the horrifying Canadian nuclear threat.

Meanwhile Barack Hussein Obama has announced a historic shift in America’s relationship with Israel.

English translation: Obama is throwing the Jewish State under the bus.

Yup, appease the Muslim world with Jewish blood and everything will just be peachy, because as we all know, the Jooz are at the root of, well, everything really bad.

Will American Jewish liberals sit up and take notice? Will they be, y'know, concerned?

Not a chance.

The party line will be: “Israel needs tough love.”

Which is the exact argument used by wife beaters.

Besides, American Jewish liberals have their priorities:

1) Abortion.

2) Redefining marriage.

3) Social Justice, code for Marxism.

Remember when Jesse “Hymietown” Jackson predicted that, "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.

For once, this malignant Jew-hater was right.

Barack Hussein Obama's Nuclear War Against Israel

Barack Hussein Obama's war against Israel has just crossed the nuclear threshold.

Ma'ariv, the Israeli newspaper, reports that employees of the Dimona nuclear facility are being denied visas to the United States where, for years, they have attended seminars in physics, chemistry and nuclear engineering.

But of course, this Iranian jihadist agent, is welcomed with open arms by the Obama regime.

In addition, the Obama administration refuses to sell reactor components that, in the past, have been sold to Israel.

Here's an ironic twist, Israel is now buying the components from France.

For those of you who know something about history, you will remember that it was France—not a hostile America—who helped Israel build their nuclear capabilities.

My friend Carl of Israel Matzav has cleaned up a Google translation of the Hebrew Ma'ariv article:

Professor Zeev Alfasi, the Chairman of the Nuclear Engineering Department at Ben - Gurion University, who is aware of what is going on, describes the deterioration of the American attitude regarding the nuclear reactor. “Some of our people did not receive visas to the United States because they are employees of Nuclear Research Center,” explained Professor Alfasi, “The United States does not sell anything nuclear to the Nuclear Research Center, and this includes everything. For example, the Nuclear Research Center in Dimona is buying radiation detectors in France, because the Americans are not selling to the Nuclear Research Center's employees.”

Prof. Alfasi added that “the Americans want to know for what each item of equipment is used. They sell to universities, but they refuse to sell these same items of equipment to the Nuclear Research Center. I do not whether they will sell the same items that they refuse to sell us to Iran.” The Nuclear Research Center refused to comment on the claims.

Barack Hussein Obama is signaling the Arab Muslim world that his regime no longer supports Israel.

Acting like a racial zoning commissioner tasked with enforcing the Nuremberg Laws, Obama tells Jews where they can and cannot live.

And his toothless policy on Iran further signals that he has already accepted a nuclear armed Iran. Thus abandoning Israel to the genocidal yearnings of the Mullahs.

Ask yourselves this question: if Obama pulled such a hissy fit over Jewish housing units in Ramat Shlomo, imagine what he will do when Israel attacks Iranian nuclear facilities?

It says quite a bit about the Democrat Socialist Party of America that two of their Presidents—Carter and Obama—are malignant Jew haters.

Obamacare: The New American Tyranny

Update: The Dems have just voted to Slaughter democracy.

Yesterday, Bret Baier of Fox News conducted an actual interview with Barack Hussein Obama.

Baier asked real questions with relevant follow-up.

In short, he was doing the job of an actual journalist.

Something quite unique considering the slobbering Obama press corps.

Obama—on the defensive the entire time—ducked, weaved and filibustered. Really, it was pathetic.

Of all the nonsense Obama spouted—including a defense of the Louisiana kickback that is positivley Chavezian—perhaps the most revealing and chilling is the following:

“I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about what the procedural rules are in the House or Senate,” Obama said. “What I can tell you is that the vote that’s taken in the House will be a vote for health care reform. And if people vote yes, whatever form that takes, that is going to be a vote for health care reform. And I don’t think we should pretend otherwise. And if they don’t, if they vote against it, then they’re going to be voting against health care reform and they’re going to be voting in favor of the status quo.

“So Washington gets very concerned with these procedures in Congress, whether Republicans are in charge or Democrats are in charge,” he said.

And in today's WSJ, Fred Barnes predicts that Obamacare will turn into a multi-generational malignancy:

America will be in a constant health-care war if ObamaCare is enacted. Passage wouldn't end the health-care debate. Rather, it would perpetuate ObamaCare as the dominant issue for decades to come, reshape politics, create an annual funding crisis in Congress, and generate a spate of angry lawsuits. Yet few in Washington seem aware of what lies ahead.

We only have to look at Great Britain to get a glimpse of the future. The National Health Service—socialized medicine—was created in 1946 and touted as the envy of the world. It's been a contentious issue ever since. Its cost and coverage are perennial subjects of debate. The press, especially England's most popular newspaper, The Daily Mail, feasts on reports of long waiting periods, dirty hospitals, botched care and denied access to treatments.

Sarah Palin Rips Obama on Israel

Notice Sarah Palin's lapel pin. I wear the same one on my suit.

On her Facebook page, Sarah Palin scolds Barack Hussein Obama and his radical anti-Israel administration for embracing third world tyrants and communists while attacking America's democratic and dependable ally, Israel.

It's all the rage among leftists—especially liberal Jews—to make fun of Sarah Palin.

These sophisticates espouse trendy post-Zionism, code for Jew-hatred, social justice, code for Socialism, and, naturally, tikkun olam, code for the dummies don't even know the true meaning of this very specific Kabbalistic term.

Instead, Jewish liberals—almost always secular, 85% of observant Jews vote Republican—choose to worship (G-d's so retro) the radical leftist Barack Hussein Obama who spent 20 years as a proud and faithful member of Jeremiah Wright's anti-American, Jew-hating, Marxist church.

I learned at a very young age that the greatest enemies of the Jewish people almost always spring from Jewish wombs.

In a few weeks we will celebrate Passover where we will chant this phrase from the Haggadah:

“In every generation they rise up to annihilate us.”

The 78% of American Jews who voted for this malignant enemy of Israel have helped elevate a modern day Pharaoh to a position of supreme power.

The Obama Administration reaches out to some of the world’s worst regimes in the name of their engagement policy. America and our allies watch as sanctions are eased on Cuba. Letters are written to Iran’s mullahs only to see that regime start killing protestors in the streets of Tehran. Envoys are sent to North Korea as they continue to defy the world’s demand to give up their nuclear weapons. The Burmese military junta’s representative is allowed to travel to our nation’s capital. The President’s envoy for Sudan talks about giving that genocidal regime “gold stars,” while the President shakes hands with Venezuela’s tyrannical leader. In the midst of all this embracing of enemies, where does the Obama Administration choose to escalate a minor incident into a major diplomatic confrontation? With Iran, Cuba, Sudan, North Korea or Burma? No. With our treasured ally, Israel.

Last October, Secretary of State Clinton recognized Israel’s desire for peace in the Middle East and praised Israel’s “unprecedented” concessions for agreeing to halt settlement construction in the West Bank, a concession that did NOT include halting construction of apartments for Jews in Jerusalem. Even last week after planned construction was announced, Vice President Biden still expressed “appreciation” for the “significant” steps taken by the Israeli government to address this minor issue. Now, however, we see the Obama Administration has decided to escalate, make unilateral demands of Israel, and threaten the very foundation of the US-Israel relationship. This is quickly leading to the worst crisis in US-Israel relations in decades, and yet this did not have to happen. More importantly, it needs to stop before it spirals out of control. Vice President Biden should rein in the overheated Obama Administration rhetoric and chill the political spin masters’ fire as they visit the Sunday media shows to criticize Israel.

Once again, the Obama Administration is missing the boat on a very, very important issue. They need to go back to the basics and acknowledge Palestinian leaders have not progressed any peace process since President Obama was elected. As Israel makes concessions (and is still criticized by the Obama Administration), Arab leaders are just sitting back waiting for the White House to further pressure Israel. The Obama Administration needs to open its eyes and recognize that it is only Iran and her terrorist allies that benefit from this manufactured Israeli controversy.

The ancient Hurva Synagogue in Jerusalem, rebuilt, at last.

At this very moment, Arabs are rioting en masse in Israel.

You see, we just rebuilt the ancient and beloved Hurva Synagogue, founded in the 1700's, and destroyed by the Jordanian Arab Muslims in 1948.

In the Jew-hating Muslim world, a synagogue is, y'know, a provocation.

The Arabs have deliberately unleashed a tsunami of violence because of the rupture—engineered by Barack Hussein Obama—between America and Israel. The Arabs understand that no matter how Israel responds to Muslim Jew-hatred, the Obama administration will blame Israel.

Two leaders presented their, um, tablets, to a world audience.

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, introduced the iPad, a sleek, multifunctional tablet.

Barack Hussein Obama introduced, well, Barack Hussein Obama.

Steve Jobs handed down his tablet to the world press as a revolutionary device that will, among other goodies, create a new business model for media.

Barack Hussein Obama's tablet was BIGGER government.

Hundreds of thousands of jobs have been created by Jobs.

Barack Hussein Obama has never created a single job in his entire life.

Steve Jobs has created wealth for millions of workers and stockholders—including yours truly who has been buying Apple stock since it was stuck at about $13.00 per share.

Barack Hussein Obama has never run a business, never had to meet a payroll, never created wealth for anybody.

Steve Jobs innovates.

Barack Hussein Obama supports a thuggish political status quo.

Steve Jobs created Apple computers, the iPod, the iPhone, phenomenally successful businesses. Hundreds if not thousands of spinoff businesses have been born from these products. Thus wealth is created.

Barack Hussein Obama does not believe in creating wealth, but in the redistribution of wealth.

Steve Jobs understands that he is the CEO, thus when Apple fails he takes responsibility and corrects his vision. It's called personal responsibility.

Barack Hussein Obama blames President Bush for, well, everything. It's called whining.

Steve Jobs believes in the genius of the free market.

Barack Hussein Obama believes in the genius of government—an oxymoron.

Steve Jobs believes in simple devices that are user friendly.

Barack Hussein Obama believes in armies of pencil pushers and complex layers of bureaucracy.

Steve Jobs leads by example.

Barack Hussein Obama leads by demagogic rhetoric.

I heard two great noises yesterday.

There was the great sucking sound of the Democrats going down the drain in November.

And there was the sound of Apple's stock surging into the stratosphere.

Rebellion in Massachusetts

A week ago, Karen and I sent money to the Scott Brown campaign. Sitting on the sidelines we felt a bit helpless. Maybe, we reasoned, our contribution will help Brown's noble effort. Or at least make us feel a bit less helpless.

But, I cautioned myself, this is Mass., the state that went for McGovern.

The state that has been fully colonized by liberal Democrats.

The state that went for Obama by a 26 point margin.

And the seat occupied by Ted Kennedy for, oh my gosh, 47 years.

But the polls were moving in Brown's favor.

(Definitely because of our contribution)

Then I smiled.

Hugely.

Because Barack Hussein Obama climbed aboard Air Force One and winged his way to Mass., to bolster Coakley's campaign.

I turned to Karen and said:

“This is great. Obama's doing a Copenhagen all over again.”

That's the wonderful thing about narcissists. They never learn. They remain, um, narcissists.

In Mass., Barack Hussein Obama delivered a fab-u-lous, completely tone deaf speech.

Barely mentioned his government run health care medicine show. Even he knows it's toxic.

But he did heap scorn on Scott Brown's pick-up truck, not once, not twice, but six times.

A truck made by GM.

Obama is not just a narcissist but an elitist.

At Lexington and Concord, in 1775, a band of brave Americans started a revolution.

And now in 2010, in a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans three to one, a massive group of Americans have fired another shot that will reverberate around these United States.

Americans do not want socialized medicine.

Americans do not want Obama's horrific expansion of government bureaucracy.

Americans do not want higher taxes.

Americans do not want massive government deficits.

And Americans do not want Islamist terrorists to be treated like American citizens.

In short, this election was a repudiation of Obama's radical, far left policies.

Come November, the next Democrats to fall are: Harry Reid (Nev), Blanche Lincoln (Ark), Arlen Spectre (Pa), Russ Feingold (Wisc) and Evan Bayh (Ind).

I'm already signing checks, and that makes all the difference.

Nuclear Woodstock

The delusional spirit of Woodstock is alive and well in the White House. Barack Hussein Obama, a far left ideologue, is determined to steer American nuclear power towards a more, um, delusional policy.

And to the Europeans who might be cheering Obama's move, please note that the only reason you can afford to live in your nanny states is because America has shouldered the burden of protecting you. It's American military might that rescued Europe from two world wars; it's American nuclear posture that halted Soviet expansion into Western Europe post WWII; and it is only through vigorous American power that Europe will be protected from newly emboldened Russia and the emerging threat of a nuclear Iran, which means a nuclear umbrella for transnational Caliphate Muslims.

This, from the Los Angeles Times, not exactly a Conservative publication:

President Obama's ambitious plan to begin phasing out nuclear weapons has run up against powerful resistance from officials in the Pentagon and other U.S. agencies, posing a threat to one of his most important foreign policy initiatives.

Obama laid out his vision of a nuclear-free world in a speech in Prague, Czech Republic, last April, pledging that the U.S. would take dramatic steps to lead the way. Nine months later, the administration is locked in internal debate over a top-secret policy blueprint for shrinking the U.S. nuclear arsenal and reducing the role of such weapons in America's military strategy and foreign policy.

Officials in the Pentagon and elsewhere have pushed back against Obama administration proposals to cut the number of weapons and narrow their mission, according to U.S. officials and outsiders who have been briefed on the process.

A Very Mao White House Christmas

Seraphic Secret is shocked, just shocked that the White House Christmas tree is decorated with an image—it looks like the famous Warhol print—of Communist tyrant Mao Tze Tung.

Okay, we confess that we are not experts in Christian theology, we are, after all, Orthodox Jews. But we suspect that the portrait of a Communist mass murderer—approximately 70 million dead—is not exactly in the Christmas spirit.

But hey, we could be wrong.

Maybe Obama's spiritual mentor Jeremiah Wright can explain this White House theology to us.

Or Obama's terrorist buddy William Ayers, I'm sure he can deconstruct this post-modern Christian imagery for us.

How about White House communications consultant Anita Dunn? I'll bet she can communicate articulately regarding the White House Mao.

Authentically Gish, Garbo, Tiger, Obama and Uh-Huh, Palin

Americans admire excellence and authenticity.

The rise of the Hollywood movie star was built on powerful performances that projected the idea of authentic emotions. Film audiences experienced a magical connection—often, deeply intimate—with scores of charismatic actors.

Lillian Gish's heartbreaking performance as the abused daughter in Broken Blossoms (1919) cemented the image of a sensitive and vulnerable child/woman. It did not matter that Gish was, in fact, rigid and hard-headed. The huge shadows on the silver screen settled the matter in the public's mind.

Garbo's close-ups—she was gawky in long shot and her best director, Clarence Brown, kept her in tight shots a majority of the time—convey a world of passion and emotional depth. In truth, Garbo was a shallow narcissistic who loved herself above all others.

Carson's Couch

Johnny Carson, the slayer of stars.

Hollywood star artifice was forever shattered by the birth of television. Specifically, Johnny Carson's late night show. The star system, already threatened due to the decline of the studios, was dealt a death blow by Carson's couch. Stars submitted to unscripted interviews in order to promote their latest film. But absent studio minders, captured in unflattering TV lights and unequal to Carson's rapid fire wit, most stars shriveled, frequently revealing breathlessly dim personalities. And as the evening wore on and the fidgety actor moved down the couch to make room for the newer guest, the pale star was reduced to the role of disposable prop.

Genuine Hollywood stars were dead and celebrity—a culture of sordid notoriety—moved in to fill the vacuum.

Tiger in Your Tank

Tiger Woods, a case study in authentic artifice.

Tiger Woods was an old fashioned star for a brief and shining moment. The greatest golfer ever, he was young, handsome, modest and best of all to a generous American public, black. Sorta.

Married with children, he was Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart and Sidney Poitier all rolled into one.

But now that carefully constructed public persona has been shattered by an emerging scandal.

Tiger Woods ads and endorsements are gradually being pulled and we can expect a further erosion in his corporate support.

To an adoring public, Tiger's authenticity has been revealed as smooth artifice.

Excellence is not enough.

Obama, Sorta
So it is with President Barack Obama.

He was perceived as a prime example of American excellence. Handsome, bright, an accomplished politician and yes, black. Sorta.

America voted for an image.

There was no record of genuine accomplishments. We were gravely informed that being a community organizer—code for socialist agitator—was superb preparation to be POTUS.

And Obama's dismal one-hundred and fifty days in the Senate consisted of a record number of “Present” votes.

The only thing we knew for sure about candidate Obama was that he spoke well, looked good in a suit and his unflappable manner suggested a man who was serious and capable.

In a very short time, Obama has been unmasked as a fraud and blunderer who regularly delivers preposterous and self-contradictory gems such as:

“We have to spend our way to prosperity.”

Nothing less than a radical call for endless deficits and the advent of an American nanny state.

In foreign policy, Obama has so devalued America's exceptional role in the world that our allies are deeply shaken, and our enemies emboldened.

Recently, an ambassador from Kuwait quietly slipped into Iran for the very first time.

Kuwait, terrified of Iran, realizes that it can no longer count on America to project its power, thus she is preparing the ground to gain entry into Iran's brutal orbit.

Kuwait, along with the entire Arab Muslim world, understands that Obama is an amateur, genuinely weak.

Yup, Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin, an authentic American star.

Which brings us to Sarah Palin.

The liberal media claim that she is a joke, that she doesn't matter. She has been pornified and attacked in a manner that is unique in modern American politics.

In response to the Palin phenomenon, liberals have enthusiastically embraced Lenin's ruthless advice: “We are not interested in debating our political opponents, we only want to crush them.”

It's not hard to comprehend this level of vitriol.

Much to their dismay, liberals understand that the American people are responding to an authentic person. A voice and image that resonates with deeply felt American values.

Palin touches the historic American core in a way that elitists like Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer and their ilk cannot begin to comprehend much less project.

When Obama appears on our TV screens in yet another baffling and tedious speech/lecture/kvetch we sigh, exhausted, because the Obama artifice is, by now, so naked, we marvel that his handlers don't realize that Obama has become a poison pill for Obamism—a political and social philosophy that is, at best, at odds with classical American Judeo Christain values.

But when Sarah Palin simply Tweets—her death panel Tweet is now historic—people pay attention, people react, ordinary people take to the streets.

Authenticity has become such a rare commodity in the public sphere that when it appears, the very landscape shifts under our heels.

Salahigate: Radicals in the White House

“Love the idea of a building freeze, Barack baby.

The story of White House gate crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi is turning into a hall of mirrors story.

Did the Secret Service screw up or did a so-far unknown White House operative order the Secret Service to allow the couple entry even though they were not on the guest list?

Let me be clear: I did not vote for Barack Obama. I do not think that Barack Obama's policies are good for America. I believe that he is a radical leftist intent in transforming our market economy into a Eurpean style socialist state.

I also believe that he is fundamentally anti-Israel.

But I want the President to be safe.

Every Shabbat in synagogue, our congregation says a prayer for the health and safety of the President and Vice President.

Thus, I am deeply disturbed by this breach of security.

But now the story gets even weirder as details of the Salahi's radical Arab Muslim connections emerge:

Tareq Salahi, the polo-playing intruder, is a Palestinian nationalist with ties to the American Task Force on Palestine (ATFP) , a pro-Palestine lobby demanding the “right of return” for all Palestinian refugees and their descendants. The “right of return” has long been considered the backdoor to Israel’s destruction. But not only that: ATFP President Ziad Asali is an America-basher who blamed 9/11 on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. Asali was a lead U.S. official to PLO terrorist Yassir Arafat’s funeral in 2004. And in a position paper in 2007, the ATFP called for a power-sharing agreement at the Palestinian Authority, which would have included the State Department’s designated-terrorist group, Hamas.

Obama's Jew: George Bush

Charles Krauthammer rips Obama for implementing a permanent strategy of blaming President Bush for, well, everything. This from a man whose party controls all three branches of government—actually four, counting the dinosaur media, that is nothing less than a propaganda arm of Obama's White House.

Obama refuses to shoulder responsibility for his failed policies, foreign and domestic.

It's a familiar tactic that has been used and perfected in the Arab Muslim world. All their problems, they claim, are the fault of the Jooz.

For President Obama, President Bush serves as his Jew.

The eternal and oh so convenient scapegoat.

I want to point out one thing about what Obama had said when he talked about “the long years of drift.” There is something truly disgusting about the way he cannot refrain from attacking Bush when he’s being defensive about himself. I mean, it’s beyond disgraceful here. He won election a year ago. He became the Commander [in] Chief two months later. He announced his own strategy — not the Bush strategy, his strategy — six months ago, and it wasn’t off-handed, it was in a major address, with the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense standing with him. And now he’s still talking about “the drift” in the Bush years. What’s happening today is not a result of the drift, so-called, of the Bush years, it’s because of the drift in his years. It’s because of the flaws in his own strategy, which is what he’s actively examining.

The Obama Debacle

Charles Krauthammer reviews the results of President Obama's foreign policy initiatives.

This is not just a record of ineptitude, but arrogance combined with ineptitude—the worst combination possible.

In the end, Obama's White House looks not just weak, but silly.

And silly in geopolitics can be fatal.

What's come from Obama holding his tongue while Iranian demonstrators were being shot and from his recognizing the legitimacy of a thug regime illegitimately returned to power in a fraudulent election? Iran cracks down even more mercilessly on the opposition and races ahead with its nuclear program.

What's come from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton taking human rights off the table on a visit to China and from Obama's shameful refusal to see the Dalai Lama (a postponement, we are told). China hasn't moved an inch on North Korea, Iran or human rights. Indeed it's pushing with Russia to dethrone the dollar as the world's reserve currency.

What's come from the new-respect-for-Muslims Cairo speech and the unprecedented pressure on Israel for a total settlement freeze? "The settlement push backfired," reports The Washington Post, and Arab-Israeli peace prospects have "arguably regressed."

And what's come from Obama's single most dramatic foreign policy stroke — the sudden abrogation of missile defense arrangements with Poland and the Czech Republic that Russia had virulently opposed?

For the East Europeans it was a crushing blow, a gratuitous restoration of Russian influence over a region that thought it had regained independence under American protection.

But maybe not gratuitous. Surely we got something in return for selling out our friends. Some brilliant secret trade-off to get strong Russian support for stopping Iran from going nuclear before it's too late?

Just wait and see, said administration officials, who then gleefully played up an oblique statement by President Dmitry Medvedev a week later as vindication of the missile defense betrayal.

The Russian statement was so equivocal that such a claim seemed a ridiculous stretch at the time. Well, Clinton went to Moscow last week to nail down the deal. What did she get?

"Russia not budging on Iran sanctions: Clinton unable to sway counterpart." Such was The Washington Post headline's succinct summary of the debacle.

It's good to know that the Obama regime is up for a fight.

Unfortunately, it's not against the Taliban, not against Iran, North Korea, a Russia that is now indistinguishable from the former Soviet Union, Syria, and hey Fatah, Hamas and Hizbullah are no problemo.

The enemy is Fox News.

Yup, Obama and his courtiers have targeted the free press because they don't, y'know, fawn over the Dear Leader.

No surprise here. Obama is simply taking a page from the leftists playbook—Lenin, Castro, Chavez, etc.—and has decided to demonize and put the big chill on independent journalists.

You see he's not content with owning 99.9 % of the American media.

He wants total obediance.

Last night, Karen and I watched Glenn Beck nail it.

We looked at one another and agreed: “We. Are. Scared.”

Roll the tape:

Barack Hussein Obama is a radical leftist. An American who completely embraces European style nanny state Socialism. That's why the Nobel Prize for, well, nothingness, is such a telling moment.

Even if you are a Liberal/Democrat/Progressive Obama's assault against Fox—using tax payer money—should be greeted with contempt and outrage for it's not just an attack on Fox, it's an attack on freedom.

America better pay attention. The president is to be congratulated for pressing for more alternative energy and conservation to curb our imports and bring down the global price of oil. But until we reach a new age of non-carbon fuels, we must far better exploit the oil and coal we have. Recent large finds in Alaska, California, North Dakota and off the Gulf Coast remind us that America has plenty of oil left. Its rapid development would lower our import bill, reduce global prices and take some profits out of these repugnant three regimes.

Our enemies have cash; we don't. The United States is running a projected $2 trillion annual deficit, while adding to an existing $11 trillion national debt.

Obama: Nothing Sacred

Seraphic Secret has long maintained that Jews are the canary in the coal mine of civilization.

If a society treats its Jewish citizens with equal rights and civility then that society will be a decent and productive place for all its citizens.

Just look at the Arab-Muslim world. These are cultures steeped in Jew-hatred and malignant anti-Zionism.

They are sewers of ignorance, totalitarian oppression and their economies are, to say the least, regressive.

France, England and Belgium are quickly submitting to radical Islamic elements, and the Jews in each of these blighted lands are enduring mounting assaults on their very existence.

In a generation or two, France, England and Belgium will be Judenrein.

These countries will inevitably devolve into darkness for the leftist Europeans have chosen to trade productive and loyal Jewish citizens for on-the-dole, disloyal Islamists who prefer Sharia under a Caliphite.

America has been a gift to the Jewish people.

Unlike European Christians, American Christians arrived in this land identifying strongly with the Jews of the Torah, an oppressed people fleeing slavery in order to worship G-d on their own soil.

In fact, the Pilgrims considered making Hebrew the national language.

But now, under Barack Hussein Obama's heavy-handed rule, things are rapidly changing.

Anti-Israel sentiment is being institutionalized by the Obama regime.

The fashionable, leftist Jew-hatred, disguised as "anti-Zionism" is sweeping like a prairie fire through the White House and the oh-so sophisticated diplomatic corps.

Tomorrow, the Presidential Medal of Freedom will be bestowed on Mary Robinson, a classic European Jew-hater who presided over the notorious 2001 Durban Conference, a hate-fest directed at Jews, Israel and America.

President George W. Bush wisely removed the American delegation from the conference rather than legitimize malignant Jew-hatred.

Obama's apologists are already claiming that the Robinson pick was, y'know, an honest mistake.

Anyone who believes that Mary Robinson was not properly vetted by the Obama White House is a moron.

Obama knows exactly what he's doing.

Robinson is a kindred spirit to President Obama. They marinate in the same leftist juices.

She's in the mold of Jeremiah Wright, Khalid Rashidi, Bill Ayers, and Samantha Powers, Jew-haters all.

By awarding America's highest civilian medal to this infamous creature, Obama is signaling that Jew-hatred is not only acceptable, but commendable.

Dems Make War on the War Against Islamic Terror

Four Dear Leaders: Barack Hussein Obama, Yasser Arafat, Abu Maazen, and
Khalid Meshal. Hope n' Change in Gaza.

The CIA actually had a top secret program to assassinate Al Qaeda leaders.

Shocking.

That a program existed to assassinate al Qaeda leaders should certainly come as no surprise to anyone. It has been well-publicized that the Clinton administration had launched military operations and attempted to use covert programs to strike the al Qaeda leadership in the wake of the 1998 East Africa embassy bombings. In fact, the Clinton administration has come under strong criticism for not doing more to decapitate al Qaeda prior to 2001. Furthermore, since 2002, the CIA has conducted scores of strikes against al Qaeda targets in Pakistan using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) like the MQ-1 Predator and the larger MQ-9 Reaper.

These strikes have dramatically increased over the past two years and the pace did not slacken when the Obama administration came to power in January. So far in 2009 there have been more than two dozen UAV strikes in Pakistan alone. In November 2002, the CIA also employed a UAV to kill Abu Ali al-Harithi, a senior al Qaeda leader suspected of planning the October 2000 attack against the USS Cole. The U.S. government has also attacked al Qaeda leaders at other times and in other places, such as the May 1, 2008, attack against al Qaeda-linked figures in Somalia using an AC-130 gunship.

In light of these facts, it would appear that there was nothing particularly controversial about the covert assassination program itself, and the controversy that has arisen over it has more to do with the failure to report covert activities to Congress. The political uproar and the manner in which the program was canceled, however, will likely have a negative impact on CIA morale and U.S. counterterrorism efforts.

So: the CIA didn't inform Congress about a secret program.

That's weird. Maybe—and I'm just throwing this out there—the CIA isn't all that anxious to see their alpha level security files compromised, leaked to the reliably irresponsible N.Y. Times.

Just saying.

By now it should be apparent—to the sane—that the Democrats cannot be trusted with national security.

Currently, we have a Democrat dominated Congress at war with the CIA, and a CIA Chief who seems more an Obama apparatchik than a man whose job it is to protect and defend the United States of America from foreign threats.

Now, CIA operatives and all members of our security branches will have to lawyer up every time they take a meeting or write a memo.

The big chill is underway.

INTERPOLATION

Hey, have you noticed that U.S. forces don't take prisoners anymore? We're just turning them into red mist with missiles fired from high altitude drones.

You know why?

Because we have no place to put them.

Obama, in his infinite wisdom, has validated every terrorist charge against Gitmo, by vowing to close the perfect facility in which to house these knuckleheads.

Once, our intelligence operatives reaped high-value intelligence from Islamist prisoners.

But those days are over. Now, we're just killing them, thereby relinquishing potentially vital intel that could be used in the war against transnational Islamic terror.

And besides, even if we do capture a few Islamo Nazis, who in his right mind is going to interrogate them?

Imagine the scene:

CIA Guy #1: “Saddle up, we got orders to interrogate Muhammed.”

CIA Guy #2: “Um, think I'll pass. I don't feel like getting investigated by Congress and the Justice Department.”

CIA Guy #1: “Dude, the order comes directly from President Obama, our Commander-in-Chief himself.”

CIA Guy #2: “Fine. Let him conduct the interrogation. Let him question the Haji and then get indicted for whatever. I'm gonna kick back and watch The Third Man. Awesome Anton Karas score. Most people think that it's a balalaika, but it's actually a zither.”

Stimulus #1 Fails: It's All Sarah Palin's Fault

Quick Hollywood story regarding incompetence and the necessity of shouldering responsibility.

A few years ago I was Executive Producer of a TV pilot that I wrote. I had an efficient and creative director, a good cast, and, I thought, a fine DP, Director of Photography.

First day's rushes were murky. The lighting on our leading lady made her look about ten years older than she was. There was no kick in her eyes and no shading for her close-ups. It was shocking, totally amateur.

The network suits asked me what the heck was going on and I was like, I'll have a talk with our DP.

An exec said: “Fire him.”

I was not ready to do that. I saw myself as a nice guy.

I had a talk with the DP. He swore up and down to correct his work.

On set, the lighting looked the same. Which is to say: crap. I tried talking to the DP but he said he knew exactly what he was doing. He treated me with contempt because he was a professional and what did I, a writer, know about the complexities of lighting.

I was furious, sick to my stomach.

We only had a ten day shooting schedule.

Rushes that night were—you guessed it—horrible.

The network exec said: “I'm not gonna say I told you so.”

I fired our DP, hired a new crew, but the network would not allow me to go over-budget and reshoot my two lost days.

The production never recovered; the pilot was no good and the network passed on the series.

I screwed up.

Me.

I hired the wrong DP, and then rewarded his incompetence.

Lessons learned? When professionals fail to perform, replace them. Compassion is misplaced for it signals weakness.

Barack Hussein Obama was elected to do a job.

He has no idea what he's doing.

We can't fire him—yet—but we can and should put a stop to his reign of economic terror, or we will all drown in a crisis of debt. Soon, the dollar will be devalued and our savings will be worth much less than they should be.

U.S. leaders should be open to the possibility of a second stimulus package to jolt the economy out of a recession still causing job losses, House of Representatives Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said on Tuesday.

Let's see, we're spending 100 million dollars a day—yup, no lie—on interest for the first sinkhole of a stimulus that has not, will not, cannot work.

But if you're a big government, big tax, big spending progressive/liberal/Democrat—what do they call themselves these days?—what could be more logical than to initiate another spending spree—financed by massive tax increases—because, really, the world as it is makes no impression at all. It's all about the world as they wish it to be.

Hey, guess what happened when Maryland decided to tax its millionaires.

State revenues declined because the millionaires got out of Dodge.

Here's what the Democrats will do to deny responsibility for their disastrous economic policies:

1. Blame George Bush.
2. Blame Sarah Palin.
3. Blame global warming, I mean, uh, climate change AKA The Weather.
4. Blame Israeli Settlements.
5. Blame Sarah Palin. Again.

The Great Obama Moscow Giveaway

Hellooooo!

Anybody home, anybody paying attention?

The mullahs in Iran are clamping down on the growing chaos. There are mass hangings, arrests and torture of dissidents. But Barack Hussein Obama, by default, has sided with the tyrants by not meddling. Generations of freedom-loving Persians will curse the name of Barack Hussein Obama.

Honduras fought off a coup from Zelaya, a power-mad leftist—duh—and Obama has come out in lock-step with the Castro bros. and Hugo Chavez for the leftist tyrant wannabee.

North Korea is firing off missiles every ten minutes and in response Obama bounces over to Russia where he should be talking tough about Russian support of the Iranian nuclear program, Russian support for the North Korean nukes—y'know, stuff that actually matters to our national security.

Instead, Obama is in the process of selling out America's strategic interests and our allies: Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, the Czech Republic, and of course, Israel.

Hey, remember Obama's talk about, ahem, tough diplomacy?

Well, this is it, folks.

Except the tough diplomacy is directed at Israel.

Because we all know that Jooz are far more dangerous than Muslim terrorists, and Iranian or North Korean nukes.

We know because Jeremiah Wright said so. For over 20-years. To Obama.

Obama's foreign policy can best be summarized as: appeasement on steroids.

As one fine officer in our armed services wrote privately to Seraphic Secret: “For the first time in my career I am convinced that our Commander in Chief is not fit to be the town dog catcher.”

President Obama went to Moscow desperate for the appearance of a foreign-policy success. He got that illusion — at a substantial cost to America's security.

The series of signing ceremonies in a grand Kremlin hall and the litany of agreements, accords and frameworks implied that the United States benefited from all the fuss. We didn't.

We got nothing of real importance. But the government of puppet-master Vladimir Putin (nominally just prime minister) got virtually all it wanted. In Moscow, this was Christmas in July.

President Obama's ideological bias against nuclear weapons dates back to his undergraduate years. Yet those weapons kept the peace between the world's great powers for 64 years. A few remarks about deterrence notwithstanding, Obama just doesn't get it.

He agreed to trim our nuclear-warhead arsenal by one-third and — even more dangerously — to cut the systems that deliver the nuclear payloads. In fact, the Russians don't care much about our warhead numbers (which will be chopped to a figure "between 1,500 and 1,675"). What they really wanted — and got — was a US cave-in regarding limits on our nuclear-capable bombers, submarines and missiles that could leave us with as few as 500 such systems, if the Russians continue to get their way as the final details are negotiated.

Moscow knows we aren't going to start a nuclear war with Russia. Putin (forget poor "President" Dmitry Medvedev) wants to gut our conventional capabilities to stage globe-spanning military operations. He wants to cut us down to Russia's size.

Our problem is that many nuclear-delivery systems — such as bombers or subs — are "dual-use": A B-2 bomber can launch nukes, but it's employed more frequently to deliver conventional ordnance.

Putin sought to cripple our ability to respond to international crises. Obama, meanwhile, was out for "deliverables" — deals that could be signed in front of the cameras. Each man got what he wanted.

Obama's Plan to Bankrupt America in One Easy Lesson

Okay, I'm no math genius. Certainly, your faithful screenwriter is not an economist.

But I do have common sense.

I understand that people should spend less than they earn in order to remain solvent and build wealth through a disciplined program of diversified investments.

But I also understand that the federal government can and does function running a moderate deficit.

As always in life, it's a matter of degrees.

Here's a brilliant, hence simple, two-minute explanation of Obamanomics.

Okay, class, how is Barack Hussein Obama, our ideologue-in-chief, going to finance this spending spree?

Waving hand in air furiously: “I know, I know, teacher, green jobs.”

If you believe that fantasy, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. Green jobs are, as Howling Wolf explains, a canard.

No, the correct answer is:

Taxes.

Duh.

Obama plans to tax you.

Yes, I'm talking to you.

Obama—a man who has never run a business, handled a payroll, or generated wealth for anyone but himself with two Oprah-designed autobiographies—promised to tax only the wealthy—making 250K a year makes you wealthy,

But that was a bold faced campaign lie.

The middle class, as always, will bear the burden of Obama's crushing taxes. It's not complicated, 5% of the American population cannot support the entire federal budget.

Let's be clear, Obama is not interested in building wealth. His aim is to redistribute wealth.

And even Obama must know—uh, maybe not—that the fed can't keep printing money or we'll end up with Zimbabwe-like inflation, hauling wheelbarrows of cash in order to buy a loaf of bread.

Obama's state planned economy follows a familiar pattern.

We see this form of governance in western European socialist states where taxes are high, unemployment is in the double digits, and national health care is parsimoniously rationed by bean-counting government bureaucrats.

When our son Ariel ZT'L was ill with cancer and we practically lived in Oncology wards, we kept meeting patients from France, England, and Canada.

Why, we inquired, were they receiving medical care in America?

The answer was always the same: they were forced to wait, and wait and wait for critical treatment. They were so ill that they had been shunted aside for “better prospects.” They had to wait months for a simple MRI.

They wanted to live.

Hope and change.

Israel's Twin Enemies

The blood of Iranian dissidents runs in the streets of Tehran, but the Obama administration is still anxious to talk with the mullahs about their nuclear program because, well, the Islamic tyrants are obviously so reasonable.

You see, Barack Hussein Obama does not want to meddle—no soaring rhetoric for those who are begging for it—in Iranian politics because, according to the Obama doctrine, all regimes are sacrosanct and we Americans don't have the moral authority to distinguish between good and evil, democracies and totalitarian states.

Except when it comes to Israel.

Jooz, for Obama, are another matter.

Not only does Obama feel obliged to meddle in Israeli politics, but he actually feels justified in deciding where Jews can and cannot live in the Jewish homeland, and whether they can build an addition to their homes because they have the chutzpah to have children.

Indeed, twenty years mentored by Jew-hating Jeremiah Wright certainly gives weight to Obama's moral authority.

No wonder the brave Persian dissidents are turning to Israel for aid. They, like the mullahs, understand that Obama is a weakling, a reflexive appeaser.

Obama might think he's being pragmatic as he gives legitimacy to the murderous mullahs. He might fool himself into believing that by force of his magical charisma, he'll convince the mullahs to abandon their nuclear ambitions.

But, in fact, Obama is practicing positive reinforcement—for evil.

The mullahs are not Brian Williams, who literally bowed to Obama after a recent interview/love-fest. The mullahs are not the NY Times, the LA Times, Newsweek, or Time magazine, media that are nothing more than an extension of Obama's powerful PR machine.

The mullah are brutal Islamic theocrats—they stone women to death, deny the Holocaust even as they plan another, hang homosexuals, slice off limbs as punishment for various crimes—and they have no intention of stepping back from their tyranny, from their nuclear program, or from their repeated promises to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

Fortunately, Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli public understand the mullahs just perfectly. That's why Bibi was elected, to deal with the Persian nuclear threat, and by extension, Hizbullah's massively growing arsenal of long-range missiles in Lebanon.

Israel also understands that Obama is an enemy of the Jewish state, thus, once again, the Jewish people stand alone against a genocidal enemy.

Sigh.

What else is new?

But here's the good news: at least the geo-political situation is clear.

The Israel Air Force’s F-15 fleet is undergoing an upgrade, with systems that make it better equipped for complex long distance attack scenarios. The systems are being installed in both the F-15 and the F-15I -- a model of the F-15 that was developed by its U.S. manufacturer specifically for the IAF.

According to IDF journal BaMachaneh, the F-15I model is currently being fitted with two new systems — one called “Barad Pelada” (“Steel Hail”), and another named Lightning.

The Barad Pelada advanced weapons system has been operational in the IAF’s F-16s for almost four years, but had to be modified in order to fit the F-15.

Barad Pelada is an advanced Israeli armament that operates like a smart bomb. “The system is unique in that it is able to plan the bombing in an accurate way by identifying the target from above,” a knowledgeable source in the IAF explained. “After the identification, the system carries out guidance to the target and only then is impact made.”

Obama's Anti-Rational Losing Streak

Karen and I are sitting in Kennedy Airport, waiting for our flight—delayed, delayed—when Barack Hussein Obama gives his rambling non-statement on the chaos currently gripping Iran. In Kennedy, you are a prisoner to CNN—Pravda pixels. Karen expresses outrage at the deliberate blackout of Fox News—also enforced on Virgin America Airlines—and then declares Obama's gutless statesmanship as, well, gutless.

I'm like: “Sshhh...”

Eyes darting about nervously because the Obama worship in this country has reached Stalin-like proportions and I really don't feel like getting into a smack down with some deranged Obamamaniac.

Karen goes: “This is still America and I'm free to speak to mind.”

I point to the electronic flight board and then gesture to the waiting passengers: “Um, Karen, this flight is to San Francisco. Most of these people are not too normal as it is, y'know.”

Anyway, Obama has a poker-tell that is visible from outer space. Whenever he opens a statement with: “Let me be perfectly clear...” you can be sure that he's about to launch into a black hole of a policy spin that is anything but clear. And in the process Obama will suck up all the oxygen in the room. Obama does not disappoint, his statement on Iran is one of those, on-the-one-hand, on-the-other-hand rambles (the man is helpless without teleprompter) that ends up saying nothing except that America doesn't want to be a bad guy because we respect Iran and whatever Jew-hating regime they cram into office, yadda-yadda. Blowhard central.

In short, Obama, as with all major policy decisions, is a rank amateur, a former community organizer whose world view remains narrow, parochial and deeply ill informed.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's speech Sunday evening at Bar-Ilan University had one goal: To get US President Barack Obama off of Israel's back.

Netanyahu's speech was an eloquent, rational and at times impassioned defense of Israel. For Israeli ears, after years of former prime minister Ehud Olmert's and former foreign minister Tzipi Livni's continuous assaults on Israeli rights, and their strident defenses of capitulation to the Palestinians and the Syrians, Netanyahu's address was a breath of fresh air. But it is hard to see how it could have possibly had any lasting impact on Obama or his advisers.

To be moved by rational argument, a person has to be open to rational discourse. And what we have witnessed over the past week with the Obama administration's reactions to both North Korea's nuclear brinksmanship and Iran's sham elections is that its foreign policy is not informed by rationality but by the president's morally relative, post-modern ideology. In this anti-intellectual and anti-rational climate, Netanyahu's speech has little chance of making a lasting impact on the White House.

Fractured Narratives

The left wing narrative goes something like this: Under President George Bush, America's image was degraded in the Arab world, and now President Barack Hussein Obama is rushing to the rescue—cinematic superhero anyone?— to repair these fractured relations.

FLASHBACK

Bosnia.

Kosovo.

Kuwait.

Somalia.

Iraq.

Afghanistan.

END FLASHBACK

Ring any bells?

In each and every country, America went to war to rescue Muslims.

America spent treasure and spilled the blood of her finest sons to assist Muslims.

But this simple truth has no legs because the truth is irrelevant to the left, and because the real issue is values.

The values held dear by Arab Muslim culture—honor, shame—have nothing in common with the values—freedom, democracy—held dear by America.

And there is Israel. The Arab Muslim world will not be satisfied until America abandons Israel. They are counting on Obama to fall in line and shaft the Jewish State.

With all their talk about resolving the Israeli Arab dispute, in truth, the Arab Muslim world thrives on this conflict, it's their excuse for being.

That's why Obama is suddenly playing up his Muslim roots. He wants the Arab Muslim world to know that he's a member of the tribe, a friend.

When we in the opposition suggested that Obama's Muslim roots might be something of a problem we were called racists.

Funny that double standard.

No doubt, Obama is more popular in the Arab Muslim world than President George Bush. Moral relativism goes a long way with academics and ruthless totalitarians.

And, of course, it was under President George Bush that Saddam Hussein—the man who killed and tortured more Muslims on planet earth than anyone else—was ousted from power, reduced to living in a hole in the ground, and then hung by neck.

The Arab Muslim world knows that Barack Hussein Obama will not depose any tyrants; they know that he can be appeased; they know that he represents no threat to backward and savage regimes; they know that his support of Israel was and is just a political fig-leaf; they know that as in Arab Muslim culture, Obama's flowery but empty rhetoric takes the place of reality.

President Obama will be in Cairo, Egypt tomorrow to deliver a—what else?— major address to the Muslim world.

Obama: High School Geopolitics

Barack Hussein Obama grovels to the Saudi tyrant.

Barry Rubin, an astute analyst of Middle Eastern politics, takes a look at Obama's approach to the despotic Muslim world and predicts an unhappy outcome.

Yup, first was Obama's apology tour in Europe, which accomplished zero for America, and no doubt, next up is Obama's grovel tour to the Arab Muslim world.

What could possibly go wrong?

Here's one of many questions that should be asked everywhere but you might only see it here:

If President Barack Obama actually succeeds in making himself more popular among Arabs and Muslims, what material advantage would it give the United States?

The answer shouldn't be taken for granted. Consider the following points:

--All of these regimes are dictatorships and so popular opinion is of very limited importance.

--Publics are very hostile to America and the West and will not be easily moved by the charm of an American president unless he does things far beyond any possible policy he might follow. Bashing Israel won't transform this opinion.

--The impressions of U.S. policies and leaders among these groups are mediated by state-controlled media which are hostile for reasons of national or regime interests, and intellectual elites which tend to be carriers of either Arab nationalism or Islamism, world views that have a systematic antagonism to the United States.

--Islamists and radicals such as Iran, Syria, Hamas, Hizballah, and the Muslim Brotherhoods view America in all its varieties and guises as an enemy. No matter what Obama says or does they will deem it a trick.

Unless, of course, he gives them concessions in which case they will take them, see him as weak, and give nothing back. That isn't popularity; that's contempt.

--Middle East leaders emphasize a realist, power-oriented model of politics. Obama wanting to be popular is simply incomprehensible to them. At best, they will attribute this to naivete and weakness. Doubting that he will be strong in protecting them they will actually do less for the United States. That isn't popularity; that's fear that you're on the losing side.

So no matter how high Obama gets his popularity in polls-which will be celebrated in the American media and in Washington DC as a great victory-nobody in the region will do more to help him or give him more as a result.

If you need a test experiment for this assertion, think about Europe. Europeans love Obama; Europe is an American ally. European societies are democracies close to America in culture and world view. And yet when Obama asked European countries for cooperation on various issues ranging from economic revival to Afghanistan they gave him nothing.

Being popular is actually an American policy deformation. Bill Clinton thought he'd be popular by bringing a solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict and saying he felt other's pain. George W. Bush thought he'd be popular by getting rid of repressive dictators and bringing in democracy.

Now Obama thinks he'll be popular by using his color, semi-Islamic background, Third World experiences, and combination of engagement and respect.

International politics isn't high school. Popularity doesn't matter. Or, to put it another way, being able to hit people upside the head can make you seem very popular indeed. Sad perhaps but true indeed.

The notion that so-called settlements in the land of Israel are the obstacle to peace in the Middle East, is one of many big lies perpetrated by the Arab Muslim world, subsequently taken up with uncritical acceptance by Western liberals.

Seraphic Secret believes that Jews have the right to live anywhere.

Especially in the Jewish homeland.

Once the world accepts and becomes comfortable with the notion that there are geographical zones that are legitimately free of Jews, well, you are creating a world-view whereby Jews become something less than human, a religion to be confined to ghettos and forbidden normal geographical patterns.

In short, Jew-hatred is institutionalized.

This is not surprising coming from a man who sat at the feet of Jeremiah Wright for over 20-years.

And so, as Iran races towards nuclear capabilities, as the Taliban march to Kabul in Afghanistan, as Pakistan devolves into savage tribal warfare, as North Korea threatens Japan and South Korea, President Obama decides that Israel is the real danger.

Israel, more than ever, stands alone.

Most of the Arab world is already Judenrein, the Arab Jews expelled and their property stolen by brutal, Jew-hating regimes.

The world accepts this as normal.

But this racism, this Jew-hatred is not enough.

Now, the Arab Muslim world and the administration of President Barack Hussein Obama demands that Jews living in the land of Israel stop having children.

Yes, that's what it means when Hillary Clinton demands an end to "natural growth" of the so-called settlements.

Natural growth = children.

This is social engineering on a scale only imagined by the likes of Mao.

Seraphic Secret is shocked, shocked that President Barack Obama is making purring noises to Hugo Chavez, a Communist tyrant who is making Jew-hatred an official state doctrine.

No doubt, Roger Cohen, the New York Time's official candidate for Judenrat President—after the tried and true Nazi collaborator George Soros—will be visiting Hugo in the near future and assure us all that the Jews of Venezuela, or what's left of them, are living in a paradise.

Seraphic Secret is shocked, shocked, that a man who kicked off his political career with a fund raiser in the home of American terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn would, as POTUS, cozy up to Iran, Syria, Hamas and Hizbullah, state and non-state terrorists, who have collectively killed and tortured scores of Americans over the past thirty years.

Prairie Fire, a violent manifesto by Bill Ayers dedicated to, among others, RFK assassin Sirhan Sirhan.

Further, does it register with Obama and his, ahem, progressive supporters, that the Weather Underground Communist manifesto, Prairie Fire, authored by Ayers, is dedicated to, among others: Sirhan Sirhan, the Arab terrorist who assassinated Robert F. Kennedy because, complained Sirhan, RFK supported Israel.

Just, y'know, asking.

Seraphic Secret is shocked, shocked, that a man who bad-mouthed Israel's Likud party, would, as POTUS, put the big freeze on the current Likud government.

Seraphic Secret is, however, not shocked that the 78% of American Jews who voted for Barack Obama are still his most enthusiastic supporters. There is a mechanism at work in the human mind that fiercely protects against the ravages of reality, it's called cognitive dissonance.

And now that the Obama foreign policy has been revealed as moral equivalence—Israel, a democratic state, is on the same plane as a radical Arab/Muslim tyranny—American Jews will, true to form, retreat into clinical denial as Obama's policies of appeasement lead to further atrocities against Jews in Israel and abroad.

Unlike the Bush administration, the staff of President Obama is not coordinating its policy on Iran or the greater Middle East with Israel and has not been informing the Jewish state of its plans or recent diplomatic developments in the Mideast, according to sources in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office.

The silence extends to U.S. talks with the Palestinians, the sources said.

"Our intention and our hope as we go to Washington is to establish close intimate cooperative relationships on these sensitive matters," a top Netanyahu official told WND yesterday.

The official was speaking about Netanyahu's May 18 visit to the White House.

According to other sources in the prime minister's office, Israel has been obtaining the vast majority of its information regarding U.S. plans and advances for the Middle East from third parties, mostly European diplomats.

This is in stark contrast to Bush's eight-year presidency, during which the White House and State Department routinely briefed Israeli counterparts on Middle East affairs to the extent that the majority of official U.S. and Israeli statements on various policy issues were heavily coordinated.

Obama to Throw Israel Under the Islamist Bus

Take one Junior U.S. Senator with the most left-wing voting record—when he bothered to vote—mix in membership in a racist, Jew-and America hating Church for over 20-years, stir in friendships with American terrorists and Arab radicals, sprinkle in a healthy dose of crypto-Socialist rhetoric, and what have you got?

As Seraphic Secret blogged as soon as we took the measure of candidate Obama: the most anti-Israel, Jihad appeasing American President and administration since, well, Jimmy "Jihad" Carter.

In a nutshell, Obama's foreign policy is this: make nice to tyrants who work for America's downfall and alienate America's allies.

The White House, in classic Orwellian double-speak, refers to this moral inversion as sophisticated foreign policy.

In the real world it's called national suicide.

American Jews voted for "change" with little regard for the essential question: will the change—domestic and foreign—be for the good or the bad.

The answer is now clear.

As predicted here repeatedly – Obama is attempting to throw Israel under the Islamist bus, and he’s getting American Jews to do his dirty work for him. White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel reportedly told the Israel lobbying group AIPAC on Sunday that efforts to stop Iran hinged on peace talks with the Palestinians. General James Jones, National Security Adviser to Obama, reportedly told a European foreign minister a week ago that unlike the Bush administration, Obama will be ‘forceful’ with Israel. Ha’aretz reports:

Jones is quoted in the telegram as saying that the United States, European Union and moderate Arab states must redefine ‘a satisfactory endgame solution.’ The U.S. national security adviser did not mention Israel as party to these consultations.

Of course not. If you are going to throw a country under the bus, you don’t invite it to discuss the manner of its destruction with the assassins who are co-ordinating the crime. As I said here months ago, the appointment of Jones and the elevation of his post of National Security Adviser at the expense of the Secretary of State was all part of the strategy to centralise power in the hands of those who want to do Israel harm.

Yesterday Vice-President Joe Biden and Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry turned the thumbscrews tighter, telling Israel to stop building more settlements, dismantle existing outposts and allow Palestinians freedom of movement.

This is all not only evil but exceptionally stupid. The idea that a Palestine state will help build a coalition against Iran is demonstrably absurd. The Arab states are beside themselves with anxiety about Iran. They want it to be attacked and its nuclear programme stopped. They are desperately fearful that the Obama administration might have decided that it can live with a nuclear Iran.

The Washington Times also worries that the U.S. is Breaking Faith with Israel.

Will the United States sell out its strongest ally in the Middle East to cozy up to its worst enemy? The Washington Times reports today that the Israeli government is increasingly worried that the Obama administration will break a 40-year understanding between Washington and Tel Aviv to keep Israel's clandestine nuclear program a secret.

Iran has long complained that Israel is given a pass on the nuclear issue. The Jewish state is suspected of possessing a small atomic arsenal, but it has never officially admitted to having a nuclear-weapons program and is not a signatory to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (nuclear states India, Pakistan and North Korea have also declined to sign). The United States has officially remained silent. Iran says it is a double standard.

On the contrary, we say it shows the United States has standards. America treats Israel and Iran differently because they are fundamentally different. Israel is a dependable U.S. ally and a free liberal democracy. Iran is a long-standing enemy of the United States, is directly or indirectly responsible via Iraqi insurgents and others for more deaths of U.S. service members than any country since the Vietnam War. Its people suffer under an oppressive theocracy. We approve of an Israeli nuclear force for the same reason we approve of a British, French or American nuclear force: We know it will serve peaceful purposes. We oppose an Iranian nuclear force for the same reason we oppose a North Korean nuclear force: We know it will not serve a peaceful purpose. Any attempt to establish parity between Israel and Iran on the nuclear issue is dangerous and naive.

Honestly, Obama's Lying

“So, what do you make of this whole Miss California thing?”

“Buncha hysterical queens.”

I'm having lunch with a well known film producer, a lever-pulling Democrat. We've known each other for over 20-years and in spite of our political differences we are close friends. My buddy has a cutting edge sense of humor that verges on the cynical, but I can always count on him for a dose of unvarnished truth.

“I'm not talking about the lunatics, or the frontal attack on Prejean. I'm talking about the disconnect, I mean these are all people who support Obama, right?”

“Definitely.”

“But Obama's on record as being against same sex marriage because he's a Christian.”

The producer motions to the waitress, orders a Perrier. As she goes to fetch his order, he fixes his eyes on her swaying hips.

“Cute. I love waitresses. They're all out of work actresses. Totally desperate.”

“She's old enough to be your daughter.”

“I'm deprived.”

“Depraved.”

“Hey, we're all not married to Karen. Speaking of which, when do I get to come over for another Sabbath meal. Karen's food is like...”

“Shavuos, okay?”

“Which one is that?”

“When G-d gave us the Torah.”

“Heston on the mountain. Maybe you should do a remake.”

“Pass-adena.”

“Anyways: some of us were married to f*****g Lady Macbeth.”

I chew lunch as my friend launches into a feverish tirade detailing his ex's endless flaws and unforgivable sins. I have heard this maybe a dozen times and with each telling the former Mrs. gets worse and worse. It must be exhausting to feel contempt for someone you once loved.

The waitress returns with a cold bottle of Perrier and my friend smoothly draws her into conversation.

Oh, wait, it's called flirting.

The waitress is obviously an experienced hand with frisky producers. She manages to charm my buddy, let him know that yes, she's an actress, but no, she's not going to have a drink with him to, ahem, discuss her career because:

“The boyfriend would definitely object.”

My friend goes: “Don't tell him.”

Waitress chuckles like Gloria Grahame in The Bad and the Beautiful: “Naughty you.”

And she's off to the next table, the next predatory producer.

“Awesome,” my friend sighs.

“Obama. Gay marriage?”

“Robert, don't be so naive. We all know Obama's lying through his teeth.”

“About gay marriage?”

“That and being,” he claws quote marks in the air, “a good Christian. Listen, Obama's a Christian like I'm a Hasid.”

I am floored.

“You're saying that Democrats assume Obama is lying for political expediency?”

“To get elected, sure. Hey, welcome to the real world.”

I take a deep breath.

“So Cary Prejean is a big fat target—”

“Not fat, my friend, did you see that slamming body?”

“Okay, so she's a slamming beautiful target because she's a genuine Christian and sincerely opposes gay marriage whereas Obama gets a pass because, you assume, he's a liar and an opportunist.”

“You got it.”

“This is okay with you?”

“He got elected didn't he, not like your self-destructive McCain.”

No argument.

I'm like: "It's not right.”

My friend goes: “Hey, you should be used to it, you know the old Hollywood story.”

“What's that?”

My friend quotes the shortest, truest Hollywood joke on record:

“Good morning, he lied.”

You know the Washington press corps is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Obama administration when Miss California gets harder questions. No, at yesterday's well orchestrated performance, reporters—and by reporters I mean Obama campaign workers—did not ask Obama about redefining marriage. They don't want the Dear Leader to say anything that just might get him in trouble.

Obama: King of the Hill

The only thing missing are the mirrored sunglasses, ubiquitous on the colonels from various third world tyrannies.

Let's review:

1. For no discernible reason, other than to tout his moral superiority—this from a man who kicked off his political career in the living room of American terrorists Bill Ayres and Bernardine Dorn—President Obama declassified a select group of documents.

2. President Obama then promised the nation that those who rendered legal opinions on anti-terror interrogation—methods that revealed a massive terrorist plot to bring down the Library Towers in Los Angeles, thus saving numerous lives—would not be prosecuted.

3. Twenty-four hours later, President Obama reversed himself—what else is new?—and announced that prosecution is now a possibility. How much do you want to bet that George Soros and Moveon.org played a major part in this infamous decision. The body politic of America has now been poisoned.

4. President Obama is following the playbook of banana republics where previous administrations are treated like criminals.

5. But now policy differences are being criminalized.

6. When I was a kid we played a game called King of the Hill. The kid who fought his way to the top was the winner. And then the game would begin all over again until we had to go home for dinner. But every once in a while some knucklehead would get to the top of the hill and declare the game over.

7. Obama and his followers are now Kings of the Hill. They have declared the game over, and anyone who disagrees is a criminal and subject to persecution and prosecution.

8. Such behavior leads not just to simmering resentment, but violent resistance.

9. The threat to freedom in America does not come from the right, the people who want to make government smaller, but from the left, those who fertilize big government with moral posturing and then use and abuse the power of big government to persecute opposition—past, present and future.

10. If you want to know what torture is, I suggest you reference the Al-Qaeda Field Manual of Torture, discovered by our troops in a safe house in Iraq. It's even got cute little drawings so any Islamo thug can do a top-notch job. Not surprisingly, waterboarding is not in the manual.

Obama's Surrender

This is not a picture of a Taliban terrorist.

Good news, the war on radical Islamic is over.

Yup, the Obama administration now informs us that our armed forces are in the midst of, get this,Overseas Contingency Operations.

Now, this should be no surprise for as George Orwell correctly predicted in his novel 1984, a meditation on Communist totalitarian rule, the left is adept at murdering language and meaning.

A few days ago, Homeland Security Tzarina Janet Napolitano declared—with a straight face—that there are no terrorists or terrorist acts, instead there are Man Caused Disasters.

And hey, in Obamanation, no more enemy combatants.

Andrew Breitbart, founder of Big Hollywood, correctly labels this flight from reality as: cultural Marxism.

Remember:

Obama and his minions are in the midst of the largest government expansion in American history; his economic policies—soft Socialism in action—are going to bankrupt America through massive spending programs—not a hint of stimulus—and this President is going to get us killed through a combination of naivete, and the sincere liberal belief that all differences are, ahem, unfortunate misunderstandings that can be ironed out.

Believe me, the Islamic terrorists understand us just perfectly, and that's why they want to destroy us.

But Obama, his loyal teleprompter—Don't Leave Home Without One—and our chattering classes don't have a clue as to the true genocidal nature of radical Islam and such willful ignorance can, unless corrected, prove fatal.

It is clear that after only nine weeks in power, President Obama is embarked on a dramatic reorientation, or should I say about face, of American foreign policy in the direction of appeasement of our enemies and indifference or worse toward our friends, something we last saw under Jimmy Carter.

Take Obama’s eagerness to talk to those that don’t want to talk to us like the mullahs in Tehran, the decision to steer $900 million to Gaza, which, whatever the spin, means Hamas, and new efforts to appease Putin by reneging on our missile defense commitments to the Eastern Europeans, to name just a few examples.

Stunning News: Obama Gets Even Cozier with Jew-haters

Let's review:

1. President Obama spent over 20-years as a proud member of a Jew and America hating church. A church that honored the well known Jew-hater Louis Farrakhan.

2. President Obama was bestest friends with American terrorist and virulent anti-Israeli trust fund baby, Bill Ayres.

3. President Obama also cultivated a more than cozy relationship with prominent Arab Muslim Jew-hater Rhashid Khalidi.

4. Since coming into office President Obama has appointed Susan Rice, and Samantha Power to positions of power. Neither woman has any affection for Israel whatsoever. Obama also tried to appoint Chas Freeman, a genuine Saudi and Chinese agent, to the sensitive post of Chairman of the National Intelligence Council.

5. So why would anyone be surprised that Obama is realigning American foreign policy away from Israel and towards the terrorist saturated Arab Muslim world. Syria, a rogue state that murders every Lebanese politician who tries to get out from under Syria domination, is now high on Obama's list of potential close allies. It's like declaring that The Crips or The Bloods are actually really sweet guys.

6. Seraphic Secret pointed out, before the elections, that Barack Obama could not be trusted as a reliable ally to Israel, hence he could not be trusted to be a custodian of American power.

7. Nevertheless, American Jews voted for this man in overwhelming numbers.

8. The excuse being that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats.

9. Which is demonstrably false.

10. Seraphic Secret predicted that Barack Obama would emerge as Jimmy Carter II.

11. We were wrong.

12. Barack Obama is far worse.

13. Netanyahu will have to stand up not only to a bunch of lunatic, genocidal Muslims, Shia and Sunni, but to a newly hostile and clueless White House.

14. America is screwed. A trillion times over.

15. But the genocidal mullahs in Iran are happy puppies.

On March 12, [IDF Chief of Staff] Ashkenazi left for a five-day visit to the United States meant to lobby the Obama administration to abandon the planned U.S. dialogue with Iran. Ashkenazi, scheduled to meet with the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee, was expected to have brought new Israeli intelligence on Iran's nuclear weapons and missile programs.

But the diplomatic sources said the administration made it clear that nobody in a policy-making position was available to sit with Ashkenazi. This included the president, Vice President Joseph Biden, Gates, National Intelligence director Dennis Blair or Mullen.

Ashkenazi has obtained a meeting with National Security Advisor James Jones. But the sources said the meeting would focus on U.S. demands for Israel to ease military restrictions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

"The Obama administration believes that Israel is as much or more of a problem as it is an ally, at least until Israel's disagreements with its neighbors are resolved," former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, said.

Bolton envisioned that the White House would pressure Israel to legitimize Hamas and Hizbullah. At the same time, he said, Obama would continue to woo Iran.

The Obama Economy

Before the elections, Seraphic Secret warned that candidate Barack Obama, with the most leftist voting record in the Senate, a man who was a proud member of a Jew and America hating church, a church whose doctrine of black separatism is built on a Marxist model, could not be a trusted custodian of the American dream.

We have been proven correct even faster that we ever imagined. From foreign policy, where Obama is quickly proving to be a gullible child in an adult's playground, to the domestic and world-wide economy, President Obama and his gang cannot shoot straight.

Barack Obama promised to “fundamentally transform America.”

He is keeping his promise.

President Obama is uninterested in prosperity. His deepest ideology is the redistribution of wealth.

Last night, Karen, sad, enraged and in shock, told me that she could barely believe that American history has lead to the current administration.

“And what scares me is that Conservatives see the Obama presidency as an unfolding disaster while liberals view him and his policies as the culmination of their dreams. It means we live in entirely different realities.”

Karen has located the central pulse of the ideological conflict: separate realities.

The Dow is crashing. The reason is simple: the markets see Obama as anti-business, anti-investor; the people who produce jobs and capital view Obama economics as the first steps towards a Socialist economy, and a big government power grab.

If Obama and the Democrat congress continue on their current economic path, America and the world economy, will slide from recession into a depression.

So what has happened in the last two months? The economy has received no great new outside shock. Exchange rates and other prices have been stable, and there are no security crises of note. The reality of a sharp recession has been known and built into stock prices since last year's fourth quarter.

What is new is the unveiling of Mr. Obama's agenda and his approach to governance. Every new President has a finite stock of capital — financial and political — to deploy, and amid recession Mr. Obama has more than most. But one negative revelation has been the way he has chosen to spend his scarce resources on income transfers rather than growth promotion. Most of his "stimulus" spending was devoted to social programs, rather than public works, and nearly all of the tax cuts were devoted to income maintenance rather than to improving incentives to work or invest.

His Treasury has been making a similar mistake with its financial bailout plans. The banking system needs to work through its losses, and one necessary use of public capital is to assist in burning down those bad assets as fast as possible. Yet most of Team Obama's ministrations so far have gone toward triage and life support, rather than repair and recovery.

Iran Clenches Its Fist

A group of useful Hollywood idiots are in the Islamic Republic of Iran to engage in, er, a creative exchange—whatever that means—with the terrorist state, a Holocaust denying regime, a regime that routinely executes homosexuals, a regime that calls for genocide against the Jewish state.

Okay, let's be honest, these people are self-important dupes and the Iranians are running rings around them.

But this dopey Hollywood delegation indicates everything that's wrong and, quite frankly, stupid about the Obama doctrine: engagement with a totalitarian regime whose goal is regional hegemony through terror, the oft stated threat to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth, and finally, to spread Sharia through a barbaric Caliphite.

John Bolton explains why talking with Iran is not just a waste of time, but dangerous.

As Iran prepares to fire up its Bushehr nuclear reactor — and as the International Atomic Energy Agency governing board meets this week, again confronted with further progress by Tehran's nuclear program — it is worth asking how the Obama administration is responding.

Imagine their dismay that President Obama is now "opening" to Iran, thus eviscerating their tentative efforts to "close" the diplomatic cover under which Iran has almost achieved the worst-case outcome, deliverable nuclear weapons.

The West's collective failure to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions has persuaded Iran that it faces minimal risks in greater adventurism on other fronts as well. Mr. Obama's discovery of "carrots and sticks," after a half decade of European failure to make that mantra a successful policy, will lead Tehran's mullahs to one inescapable conclusion: They have won the nuclear race, absent imminent regime change or military action.

Second, dealing with Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria as though they are unrelated to Iran's broader threat is exactly backwards. Mr. Obama is again following Europe's mistaken view that ending the Arab-Israeli conflict will help to resolve other regional problems. But concentrating on Gaza only increases Hamas's leverage, just as negotiating with Syria only enhances its (and thereby Iran's) bargaining power.

Stimulus Package for Hamas

Obama has pledged 900 million dollars to Gaza. That's almost a billion dollars. But who's counting? The money, ostensibly, is to rebuild infrastructure.

As if Hamas have ever been interested in building a functional society. In fact, the Hamas charter explicitly states that they have no interest in building a state, only in destroying Israel and establishing a Muslim caliphite.

No, the money will be used to rebuild the shattered Hamas military, purchase weapons, build bunkers, and of course, kill Jews.

Meanwhile, Obama's delegation at the Durban II have succeeded in legitimizing Jew-hatred by participating in a conference where Iran, Libya, and Cuba chair the human rights commission.

Seriously, you can't make this stuff up—actually, George Orwell predicted such moral insanity in his novel, “1984.”

Last night, President Obama conveniently side-stepped facts for fantasy.

And his foreign policy is also built on fantasy—the fantasy/fetish of engagement.

Obama's defenders claim that we have to try and talk with our enemies, we'll see what happens next.

Here's the problem with that line of thought: continuously engaging totalitarian regimes gives them the status and credibility they crave. Thus, Holocaust denial becomes just another point of view to be explored, and radical Islam's yearning for genocide against Jews is rendered as daily chatter, on par with the latest drama on American Idol—um, go Danny!

In the end, our allies feel abandoned, and our enemies emerge dominant.

It's a recipe for appeasement and the triumph of radical Islam over Judeo/Christian civilization.

Before the presidential elections, Seraphic Secret warned that a man who, for over 20-years, was a proud member of an America and Jew-hating church cannot be a reliable ally to Israel or an advocate for American power.

America and American Jews chose to ignore President's Obama's actions and instead swooned for his, ahem, elegance, and populist rhetoric.

Our mainstream media are no longer free. They no longer function as watchdog to big government. The mainstream media are but reliable extensions of Obama's administration, hence big government's reach has gone Soviet.

Worse, creatures like the New York Time's Roger Cohen and Nicholas Kristof shill for genocidal yearning regimes.

I am afraid.

Obama Gets Cozy with Jew-haters

In Gaza Jesus, Arafat and Obama are, um, G-ds. Theology gone wild.

Obama's move to participate in Durban 2 is in line with a sharp repositioning of American policy. Where Israel has been treated as the ally it is, now Obama will treat it as an equal to Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, etc. and it will defer American policy to anti-Israel organizations like the United Nations.

Friends and supporters of Israel should not deceive themselves into thinking that the Obama Administration is friendly toward Israel. Changing America's position on Durban 2 is a very troubling and hostile act.

I mean, who would have expected this kind of supine foreign policy from a man who spent over 20-years as a member of a Jew-hating church?

In fact, Obama has stacked his Mideast team with a solidly anti-Israeli group.

Elegant.

I think it's safe to assert that American Jews, who voted overwhelmingly for Obama, were and are in denial. Or they are idiots. Personally, I believe most American Jews suffer from cognitive dissonance. They have been born and bred as “good liberals” and the overwhelming evidence that liberalism is now a comfortable home for Jew haters and Israel haters is rejected or ignored. I used to be a lever-pulling Democrat, but my eyes were opened during the disastrous Carter administration. I switched to the Republican party and have never looked back. Carter has proven, time and again, to be a Jew-hater, an enabler of terrorism and a supporter of practically every totalitarian regime on planet earth. Obama is proving to be Carter II.

“They Let Us Out.” But Michelle, Presumably You Are the They

“I feel like crying,” says Karen as she reads the story to me. "He's acting like a kid being let outside for recess. Who is the 'they?' He is the 'they.' He is the President, the ultimate authority in this country, not a kid rebelling. He's not a child of the 60's anymore. Doesn't he understand that?”

I'm watching Our Dancing Daughters, a great Joan Crawford silent film, and really I'm so ill with Obama fatigue that I just want to concentrate on the very young Joan—hey, have you ever noticed that she never blinks—Anita Page, who died a few months ago, the troubled Southern belle Dorothy Sebastian, the stunning art deco sets, and talk about a killer wardrobe, the leading ladies flounce around in slinky, light as air gowns that cry out for a Lagerfeld revival.

“These people are children, Robert.”

I hit the pause button. This is new. Usually I'm the one ranting and raving while Karen sits working at her desk and muttering: “Uh-huh, uh-huh, whatever you say...”

Karen is a psychologist. A good psychologist. She has insights about people and stuff that go right past yours truly. Often, she warns me away from various Hollywood people and deals because she knows they are going to end badly.

Karen says. “When Michelle Obama says, 'We got out. They let us out,' she is using the language of a child.”

“His defenders will argue that he and Michelle were just joking.”

Karen shakes her head from side to side:

“No, it's little details like this that reveal so much about character. This man is not a statesman. We want a President who has some dignity, who's not playing house, who's not playing at being President of the United States. And she's looking to ingratiate herself with children instead of acting like an adult and setting a proper example.”

Of course, Karen is right, the President and the First Lady reveal an adolescent mind-set, an unwillingness to let go of a tedious anti-establishment pose.

My head throbs.

I don't hate President Obama or The First Lady. I'm not a Republican version of the sociopath Bush-Cheney haters.

I'm worried about closing Gitmo. I'm worried about extending habeas corpus to non-citizen Islamic barbarians. I'm worried about Obama's naive rhetoric about Iran unclenching their fist. I'm worried that he will throw Israel under the Islamic bus. I'm worried that this so-called stimulus package is all pork and a cover for Socialism. I'm worried that the Dems are more concerned about so-called global warming than global Islamic terror. I'm worried that the media watchdogs have been plowed under the Obama juggernaut. And last but not least, I'm worried that Obama and Co. are going to get us killed. I'm worried. I'm really worried.

I hit the play button and return to 1928, when flappers were the great danger to the American grain.

On the rockiest day of his young administration, President Barack Obama did what surely made him happy for a while.

He left.

With little notice, the president and first lady Michelle Obama bolted the gated compound of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in their tank of a limousine on Tuesday. They ended up at a Washington public school, greeted by children who could not care less about the collapse of a Cabinet secretary nomination.

"We were just tired of being in the White House," the president candidly told the gleeful second-graders at Capital City Public Charter School.

"We got out! They let us out!" Mrs. Obama said as the kids and their teachers laughed.

Nothing Matters

For the past few days Karen and I frequently turn to each other, break into grim laughter, and go:

“It doesn't matter. Nothing matters.”

We're always talking about Barack Obama.

Barack Obama worships in a Jew & America hating church for over 20-years. Obama then goes on to claim that he never knew that his mentor, Jeremiah Wright—stark, raving mad—held such, um, hateful views. Right. Sure. And then Obama informs the American people that he can no more disown Jeremiah Wright than he can disown a member of his own family. But of course a few days later he dumps the old racist because Wright has become a political liability.

Does any of this matter to the American people?

No, it does not.

Does it matter to American Jews?

Well, only to observant American Jews.

Barack Obama self-righteously vows to accept public financing for his presidential campaign.

He promptly turns around and breaks this promise.

McCain keeps his promise and accepts public financing.

Does this matter?

No, it does not.

Obama says that The Surge will fail, will make the situation in Iraq even worse.

McCain has been urging The Surge for years and his advice is 100% correct. The Surge is a success and the terrorists have been defeated in Iraq.

Does this matter?

No, it does not?

Obama, like Karl Marx, urges the redistribution of wealth.

Obama kicks off his political career, after a weighty career as a community organizer—code for socialist agitator—in the home of unrepentant American terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

Obama pals around with Jew-hating, Palestinian terrorist Rashid Khalidi.

Terrorists in Gaza work the phones for Obama.

Obama vows to bankrupt the coal industry.

One of Obama's senior staffers, Jamillah Muhammad, is a radical community organizer, trained in the socialist tactics of the late Saul Alinsky, who lead anti-military counseling in Chicago during the Gulf War, steering young blacks away from supposedly racist military recruiters.

Does any of this matter?

No, it does not.

Any one of these outrageous associations, actions or statements would destroy another politician. But Barack Obama gets a pass.

It's a real mystery.

Which is why Karen and I laugh with no humor whatsoever.

But if Obama wins this presidential election, I don't think we or America will be laughing much longer for even now the Iranians are vigorously preparing for an Obama presidency. Yup, the Persians are building up their naval bases in the Straits of Hormuz. You see, while half of the American electorate have been brain-washed into a Mao cult-like following for a man who has zero accomplishments in his political life—save for getting elected—the Persians, who know how to kill Americans and Jews, are preparing to eat him alive.

And that matters.

Update: Here's something else that matters. Our friend JoshuaPundit, an extremely clever observer of the national political scene, predicts a McCain victory.

Obama and Terrorist Bill Ayres

Character and judgment are important, in ordinary citizens, and of course for the man who holds the office of President of the United States and Commander in Chief.

Thus, it's important to explore Barack Obama's history.

Barack Obama seems more than comfortable with Pentagon bombers Bill Ayres, and Bernardine Dorn. Obama was also more than cozy with Jeremiah Wright, a hater of America and an anti-Semite. Cozy until his polls started to slip. There's also Father Pfleger, a Catholic priest so far left he makes Stalin look conservative. And let's not forget Tony Rezko, a crook, another close associate of Obama.

If John McCain cultivated such vile associates, especially the racist Jeremiah Wright, his career would be over in a N.Y. minute.

And properly so.

But Obama gets a pass.

I suppose that's what's known as affirmative action.

Stanley Kurtz is starting to get to the bottom of the Obama-Ayres connection. Do not expect the dinosaur media to breathe a word of this. They are too busy sliming Sarah Palin.

Despite having authored two autobiographies, Barack Obama has never written about his most important executive experience. From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.

The CAC was the brainchild of Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s. Among other feats, Mr. Ayers and his cohorts bombed the Pentagon, and he has never expressed regret for his actions. Barack Obama's first run for the Illinois State Senate was launched at a 1995 gathering at Mr. Ayers's home.

The Obama campaign has struggled to downplay that association. Last April, Sen. Obama dismissed Mr. Ayers as just "a guy who lives in my neighborhood," and "not somebody who I exchange ideas with on a regular basis." Yet documents in the CAC archives make clear that Mr. Ayers and Mr. Obama were partners in the CAC. Those archives are housed in the Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago and I've recently spent days looking through them.

Obama and American Terrorist Bill Ayres

Sarah Palin and John McCain are being slimed by the mainstream media at every turn. Charles Gibson's condescending interview with Governor Palin is only a glimpse of things to come. Except for Fox's Bill O'Reilly, we're still waiting for MSM journalists to interview Obama with anything approaching vigor.

And we're still waiting for BO to accept John McCain's invitation to debate in town hall meetings.

We will wait 'till hell freezes over for Obama's handlers understand quite clearly that their man, without a teleprompter, is incoherent.

And let's not forget Barack Obama's unsavory associations with the shady financier Tony Rezko, the Jew and America hating Jeremiah Wright, and American terrorist Bill Ayres. These inconvenient facts are either ignored or tacitly excused by, um, progressives.

Let's roll the videotape and take a look at Obama's friends and political supporters:

Of course BO's surrogates will claim that their candidate was just talking about change. But we all know that they are being disingenuous. Most certainly the Palin-hating crowd—a valid new clinical designation—knows that the increasingly desperate and glass-jawed Democratic candidate was echoing Governor Palin's remark that the difference between a pit bull and a hockey mom is lipstick.

Classy guy.

No wonder women are deserting the hollow man in record numbers.
