The Jew Bush

Classic anti-Semitic imagery where the Jew conspires to take over the world is the template wherein President Obama claims that former President Bush is responsible for the failure of Obama’s economic policies.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. ”

“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly — it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”

—Joseph Goebbels

Blaming President George W. Bush for America’s economic nightmare was President Obama’s calling card his first year in office. I was a little shocked because real leaders, mature men, understand that the buck stops here, not back there.

When Obama’s second year rolled around and Bush was still front and center in Obama’s talking points I marveled at the sheer chutzpah. A normal politician would have his surrogates perpetuate this meme but himself keep away because it’s mean and petty and, let’s face it, vulgar demagoguery. But Obama is no ordinary politician. Obama is an Alinsky predator whose first impulse is to isolate, demonize and destroy the opposition.

Look, if a CEO grabs the helm of a failing corporation, does not revive the company, and then continues to blame fiscal woes on the past CEO the Board of Directors will, quite correctly, fire the CEO as an incompetent whiner.

As Obama’s fourth year rolls around the blame Bush  chorus has still not abated. If anything, it’s become even more strident, ever more shrill and delusional.

And that’s because Bush is a Jew.

No, President Bush is not Jewish; he is a pious Christian.

But he is Obama’s Jew, Obama’s scapegoat.

Obama’s entire social and political ideology has been formed and informed by radical leftists. Obama’s personal history—mother, father, grandparents, Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayres, Derrik Bell, Michael Pfleger, Rashid Khalidi—is littered with Jew-haters, men who routinely scapegoat Jews and Israel.

The political convenience of scapegoating is the habitual reflex of the left.

Thus, it’s a small intellectual leap for Obama and red diaper baby David Axelrod to treat President Bush as The Jew, a malignant force whose power extends like tentacles to strangle all the good intentions and policies of Obama.

Poor Barack Hussein Obama, President of these United States, but a powerless victim in the face of Bush The Jew.

The next time President Obama or one of his surrogates blames Bush, I want you to mentally insert the word Jew. You’ll see how Obama’s game is played and you’ll understand that you are being invited to take part in the Two Minutes Hate against Emmanuel Goldstein as envisioned in George Orwell’s prophetic novel “1984.”

Comment Rules

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

  1. No profanity.
  2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

It seems the left always holds itself to a different (read: lower) standard than conservatives. That is why it can get away with mysoginy, hateful rhetoric, cronyism, and lies, all the while wagging its finger with a holier-than-thou disapproval at its political opponents. And of course the media plays right into Obama’s Bush narrative by refusing to engage the president in any critical or thoughtful manner.

I’m not sure the left holds itself to any standard beyond winning at all costs. All their talk of compassion reminds me of the slaveholders of the Antibellum south who only had the best interests of their slaves at heart.

I love your take on this. I have been very adamant about the demonization (scapegoating) of people who someone disagrees with or wants to blame for their own mistakes. Not only does it remind me of how the Jews have always been treated prior to a progom (slippery slope) but shows what little intellectual heft someone displays when they resort to name calling and blaming rather than making a rational case for their position.
I am happy to disagree and even to loose an argument in grace but I abhor and would never resort to this low a level of treatment. I have observed that the left and the Jew haters have no other tricks up their sleeves. I am always amazed at the fervor of the cool-aid drinkers when they have not a leg to stand on.
Thank you for the reminder of 1984, I think I will go read it again. I believe I will right some more commentary on this subject and provide links to this excellent blog post.

Years ago, I made this same point about Governor Palin who was also demonized by the Democrats in the exact same way that Jews are demonized. This form of the blood libel has become part of the Democrat playbook.

P/S. Keep up the fine work on your blog.

Robert – do you think most voters will buy this though? in some ways these times remind me of the late 70s – 1979 – when Carter was polling so close (and even ahead) of Reagan.

I hope that the analogy carries though election day.

No, I don’t think most voters would buy this. Most voters are not as engaged politically or have the historical knowledge to make such an obvious connection.

Every time I hear about how powerful Jews are around the world, I think of Churchill.

Never was so much controlled by so few believed by so many.

Jews are only powerful in the deranged imaginations of people who actually are powerful, like the Muslim Brotherhood.

Well observed. Over this past weekend two people, a practical and down to earth woman, and a man more of an ivory tower type, observed independent of one another, that Obama’s problems were Bush’s fault. Of course, they were, and they weren’t. The Presidency is on a continuum. Yes? In any case, these people aren’t complete imbeciles. Well, they are Canadian. And living in Quebec, so who knows.

I can see Obama at the end of his eight years telling a feeble and gasping America that he tried really hard but Bush (The Jew) was too powerful. Sorry, folks.
