At a certain point, Barry Obama realized that becoming Barack was a better career move.
He cleverly made liquid his national origins; sometimes he was American born, at other times he was born in Africa. Barry/Barack’s audience determined his narrative. The point was to move forward, to get what he wanted. Obama also realized that his lies would never catch up with him because his race acted as a shield. All Barry/Barack had to do was unleash the charge of racism and Obama’s false narrative would be forced off-stage in favor of a “conversation about race.”
Wendy Davis is cute, like a bland, sit-com actress. She’s also reasonably intelligent. No wisdom in that pretty little head, but lots of cold calculation. Like Barry/Barack, she realized at a certain stage in her development that she could get stuff by being cute and well-spoken. Men were especially easy to manipulate. But even women were anxious to advance Wendy’s career because people like being around attractive people.
That’s why we all watch TV and go to the movies. They are, for the most part, compelling narratives about attractive people.
