Video: Torah Dedication in Memory of Ariel Chaim Avrech Z’L

Here is the full video of the Torah dedication that took place on Sunday August 25 2019 at the Young Israel of Century City. After the Torah is brought into the sanctuary the speakers are: Rabbi Elazar Muskin of the Young Israel of Century City, Rabbi David Singer, Karen’s brother who lives in Efrat, Israel, and Rabbi Eliezer Gross, Dean of Yeshiva Gedolah of Los Angeles where Ariel attended high school.

Tonight begins Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. We wish all our friends and relatives a happy and healthy New Year.

Torah Dedication in Memory of Ariel Chaim, Z’L

Karen and I dedicated a Torah to our synagogue in memory of our son Ariel Chaim, Z’L. On the evening of August 22, at our home, there was a ceremony where the last hundred letters of the Torah were filled in by our friend, a scribe, with a few dozen honored family and friends present.

At least not to those of us who understand Jewish history and our eternal covenant with HaShem.

The Jewish people are immortal because of their adherence to the Torah.

New Torah Scroll Dedicated To The Memory of Ariel Chaim, Z’L

It took the scribe a year to write this Torah scroll.

This year, instead of the Ariel Avrech Memorial Lecture, my wife Karen and I dedicated a new Torah in our son’s blessed memory.

The ceremony took place last week. The video should be up here at Seraphic Secret in a few weeks.
