ObamaCare is creating financial and healthcare instability for millions of Americans. Foreign governments have come to understand that Obama has no interest in asserting America’s dominant role in world affairs. Thus, our allies despair, even as IslamoNazis ruthlessly fill the void created by Obama’s policies of appeasement.
In reaction to the prevailing political gloom, footwear designers are concentrating on clever, witty designs that will make women feel good about themselves. The stark and scary stilettos of past seasons have given way to fanciful designs that will draw happy smiles as you strut your stuff.
Seraphic Secret has done the hard work of combing through various collections and picking the looks which should make these hard times more wearable.

Karen and I wish all our friends and relatives a lovely and meaningful Shabbat.
I’m not much into shoes — maybe I have an extra Y chromosome? — but I’m a big fan of Anne Francis and Robbie the Robot.
The only one of those pairs of shoes that I could imagine wearing is the candy stripes-if they were checks. Shavuah Tov.
The “private eye pump” for all the world reminds me of a greek trimerene’s prow at Salamis. Fantastic ladder!
I thought for sure you’d chosen that photo because of this week’s Consumer Electronics Show! 🙂
I like the all-weather shoes, too. Have a great Shabbos.
Personally I’ll go for the Chiara Ferragni’s red velvet. Some of these shoes seem so outlandish (Thea Cadabra’s?) – I have never seen anyone wear something like that.
Introverts need not apply?
With all the depressing ObamaCare stuff you’ve been running, this was totally refreshing (though that’s not to say I didn’t smile at how you cleverly worked ObamaCare into the first graphs of a piece about footware.). Personally, my favorite is the “private eye pump.”
