Sigmund Freud famously asked: “What do women want?”
A new survey by ShoeBuy.com confirms what Seraphic Secret knows: Women want shoes.
Women dream of nose-bleed stilettos, ballet flats, boots, Oxfords, sandals — whatever! If it clothes the foot, women lust for it.
Okay, a few statistics.

Jean Harlow and Chester Morris in “Red-Headed Woman,” 1932.

Brigitte Bardot trying on shoes at Rayne’s the Queen’s shoemakers, London, 1955.

Anne Francis and Robby the Robot in “Forbidden Planet,” 1956.

Ginger Rogers in “Roxie Hart,” 1942.
Karen and I wish all our friends and relatives a lovely and inspirational Shabbat. Please pray for the safe return of Eyal Nifrah, Naftali Frenkel, and Gilad Shaar who have been kidnapped by IslamoNazis.
I love that 1st one’s caption: “One in 5 women say they’re more turned on by a pair of shoes than their lover.”
There could be one of two assumed missing words, making it either “than by their lover” or “than their lover is.” Simply fraught with meaning. heh heh.
Best not look too deeply into that 🙂
That is what amazes me – that women would rather keep their stylish shoes on to the detriment of blistered/bloodied feet. I am thinking that this attitude is related to an old aviator’s saying:
It’s better to die than to look bad, but it is possible to do both.
