Hamas Loud and Clear: Goal Is Destruction of Israel

YouTube Preview Image

In Islam there is a religiously sanctioned obligation called Taqiyya, lying.

Speak soothingly to the enemy in order to lull him into a state of unpreparedness. Yet to their own people, the truth is loud and unvarnished in the form of frequent calls for genocide and world domination through a caliphate.

Deceit and duplicity are an effective and bloody weapon used by Islamists.

Recently, the Saudi Arabian Minister of Education, Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, told a U.S.-Saudi Business Opportunities Forum in Atlanta that the educational system in the Kingdom is a model for the Middle East and North Africa.

Sounds fabulous.

So, what’s the model look like?

This is from the standard Saudi textbook for eighth-graders:

“The Apes are the people of the Sabbath, the Jews; and the Swine are the infidels of the communion of Jesus, the Christians.”

Ninth graders in Saudi Arabia move on to this charming bit of  educational enlightenment:

“The Jews and the Christians are enemies of the believers, and they cannot approve of Muslims.”

Saudi textbooks are written and distributed by the Saudi Education Ministry. Saudi Arabia is a totalitarian Socialist theocracy, and every child—approximately six million jihadis in training—are indoctrinated with this filth every day.

So too with Hamas, (see video above) who whooped up a little blood lust in honor of their 24th anniversary.

At a ceremony marking the 24th anniversary of the founding of Hamas, Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip Ismail Haniyeh said that Hamas may work for the “interim objective of liberation of Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem,” but that this “interim objective” and “reconciliation” with Fatah will not change Hamas’ long-term “strategic” goal of eliminating all of Israel:

“The armed resistance and the armed struggle are the path and the strategic choice for liberating the Palestinian land, from the [Mediterranean] sea to the [Jordan] river, and for the expulsion of the invaders and usurpers [Israel]… We won’t relinquish one inch of the land of Palestine.”

Notice that the goal of which Hamas speaks is not a Palestinian state.

The Arab Muslims have never been interested in such narrow nationalism. That’s just public relations camouflage to feed a romantic and gullible Western audience, mostly post 60′s liberals, who get all warm and fuzzy at the mention of mass murderer Che, and think that The Battle of Algiers is the greatest movie ever made.

The main goal of Hamas—the PA is no different, they only differ in tactics—is the destruction of the Jewish state, the genocide of the Jewish people and the establishment of a 7th century Islamic caliphate.

Full story at the invaluable Palestinian Media Watch.

Karen and I wish all our friends and relatives a happy last day of Chanukah.

Comment Rules

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

  1. No profanity.
  2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Robert – I heard a rather depressing interview with frank Gaffney on Hugh Hewitt a few days ago.

With the Muslim Brotherhood taking over Egypt,  Iranian nuclear aspirations Gaffney was saying that 2012 could see a very large war, in which Israel is fighting for her existence.

Nuclear weapons may be well involved.

      Bill:

Yes, I heard the same interview. The fact is Israel has been fighting for her existence since the state was founded. But with nuclear arms almost in the hands of jihadis, the equations for warfare have changed. And with israel’s deep distrust of Obama—duh—the political landscape has turned apocalyptic.

The best one sentence distillation of a paradigm to view political Islam came from a commentor at Doug Ross’s site:

If there is a recurring theme within political Islam it is the permanent jihad to wipe out any trace of non-Muslim civilization. Once you appreciate that you’ll begin to see the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Mosque built over the Jewish Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the persecution of Christians in Muslim lands and the spread of “no-go” neighborhoods in Europe in an entirely new light.

That really does say it all.  It explains the thrust of Islam from day 1 of the Hijrah through today and at all places in the world.  I have posted a bit more on this at http://www.wolfhowling.blogspot.com/2011/12/moment-of-perfect-clarity-centrality-of.html for what its worth.   The problem in the West is that we project our own benign religious tendencies onto Islam, and the Islamists do all they can to further that belief in the West.  It is suicidal.

      Perfect quote.

Thanks so much for your links. As always your work is a fountain of wisdom and common sense, which, sadly, is not so common anymore.

When the Christian churches were attacked in Nigeria people asked how followers of the religion of peace could be so barbaric.  The response is that it’s a small fringe and if muslims wanted to kill us we would be dead already.

I’m sure their response to this video will be the same. Hamas doesn’t represent the billions of muslims around the world blah blah blah blah!  And Atta was not representative of muslims even though he flew a plane into the WTC blah blah blah blah!  Osama bin Laden was not representative blah blah blah blah.  Every muslim organization put out statements decrying the attacks blah blah blah blah!  They have pro forma statements ready to go as soon as they insert the location of the latest attacks and can then say they don’t support terrorism.

Apologists never change the actions of terrorists, they only abet more terrorism.

Johnny is right. The Fourth Estate (along with many governments of the world) have dismissed literally thousands of acts of murder, war, and terrorism by these fundamentalist Islamists in my lifetime (the last 50 years).

I can sorta, kinda see when a Army Major goes postal with side arms that the press and the government want to call that an individual crime and not an act of Islamic terrorism (although I believe that was his purpose). But look at all of the world events, ranging from the Six Days War (1967) and the Yom Kippur War (1973) to the attacks on NYC and Washington DC (9/11/2001), Madrid (2004) and London (2005) — EVERYTHING gets brushed aside as “an isolated event by extremists” rather than a coordinated deliberate attack by zealous religious fanatics.

Religion of Peace, perhaps the greatest piece of propaganda since the Nazis declared themselves the Master Race…

      Johnny:

When the frings argument rises I always bring up the fringe Nazis who murdered six million Jews. Fringes thrive because they are allowed to thrive by a majority who are enablers.
