I have not read Hillary Clinton’s latest ghost-written tome in which she blames everyone but herself for her loss to President Trump.
But I have read a few quotes, and this one about Orwell’s classic novel 1984 actually made me laugh out loud.
“Attempting to define reality is a core feature of authoritarianism … this is what happens in George Orwell’s classic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, when a torturer holds up four fingers and delivers electric shocks until his prisoner sees five fingers as ordered. The goal is to make you question logic and reason and to sow mistrust towards exactly the people we need to rely on: our leaders, the press, experts who seek to guide public policy based on evidence, ourselves.”
This woman has no idea what she’s talking about. In fact, Orwell says that people should not trust leaders, the press and the experts.
I am delighted that Hillary refuses to go away. She’s running for POTUS again, sneering at the American people the whole way.
My very favorite Hillary-excuse for why she lost is that, get this, white men bullied their wives to vote for Trump.
Democrat contempt for the American people practically guarantees Trump a second term.
