Once again Israel is under fire from the terrorist reichlet of Gaza. The terrorists are now armed with Grad rockets c/0 Iran.
Thus, Iran is at war with Israel.
Iran is also at war with America; they are and have been killing Americans in Iraq ever since we liberated that country. Make no mistake about it, as Obama surrenders and draws down our troops—against the advice of America’s military commanders—the Iranians will move in and set up shop just as they have done in Lebanon.
Israel’s Iron Dome defense system is not working. Big shock.
The only course of action is to relentlessly hunt down and kill the leadership of Hamas. Liquidating rocket squads is a purely defensive measure and no war has ever been won through defensive actions.
As for America and Iran. The Iranians have correctly judged Obama to be a weak vessel. His kumbaya outreach was laughable and the only result was to deter American power. Iranian aggression must be thwarted and to do this America must vote Obama out of office and urge the Republican who takes his place to forget sanctions as an effective state tool—always useless, especially since the Chinese and Russians will never cooperate—and use decisive force against the Islamic Republic. If an already emboldened Iran succeeds in mounting a nuclear warhead on a proper delivery system the region will go up in flames.
Some 20 rockets and mortar shells were fired from Gaza into southern Israel on Saturday, killing one man and wounding four others.
The rocket barrage followed an IDF strike on the Gaza Strip which resulted in the deaths of five Islamic Jihad militants.
Rockets were fired from Gaza into Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gan Yavne, and around Be’er Sheva. One man was seriously wounded in Ashkelon and eventually died of his wounds. Another man was moderately wounded in the Ashdod rocket strike and three others were lightly hurt. Moreover, 17 trauma victims were reported.

It’s rather difficult posting something of any consequence after Peter’s eloquent and heartfelt post….
Agreed. Well said, Peter.
I usually remain quiet with most of the great dialogue on Seraphic Secret, but sometimes my emotional or frustration level overcomes that quietness, as with the present rocket attack. Please allow me to vent.
I have stood on a small hill overlooking Gaza during a medical training course.
I have met the brave and beautiful people of Siderot, and briefly studied the psychological trauma they endure; a bomb shelter on every street corner and schoolyard. They have 15 seconds from the Tzeveh Adom alarm until impact. Try shopping for groceries with that on your mind!
I have talked to the paramedics of MDA in Siderot; talk about a 1000-yard stare!
And I have held Kassam rocket fragments at the Siderot police station.
In the dark trying times that may be ahead of us, who would you want at your side, the whining slugs in OWS or citizens of a community, or nation, like Siderot or Israel?
All of Robert’s faithful readers, people who get it, must show complete resolve at times like this. The perfect storm is brewing.
We have a president who does not get it, or much more likey does get it, and is an avowed enemy of it. While Obama is ostensibly the great fighter of Islamic terrorism, having killed several Al Queda leaders, Al Queda surely being a threat to America but not so much to Israel, he knowingly looks on while Iran and it’s proxies, a mortal threat to Israel, march on towards heavier and heavier armament and nuclear weapons. As Robert says “If an already emboldened Iran succeeds in mounting a nuclear warhead on a proper delivery system the region will go up in flames.”
The Arab Spring and movement, so says our MSM, “marches towards peace and democracy” – LOL – more like the Muslim Brotherhood getting nearer to its ultimate goal.
What to do?
Donate money to a worthy cause in Israel. Pray to G-d for the safety of every Israeli. Pray for every soldier in the IDF; they are a wall between decency and goodness on one side, and the barbarism of fundamentalist Islam on the other side. Do not remain silent when someone makes an ignorant or intentionally hateful remark about the right of the Jewish State to exist. Vote only for a candidate who unequivically will stand for the right of Israel to exist as the Jewish State, and for its right to defend itself. Any haziness on this by a candidate is unacceptable.
Understand that every member of Hamas is driven by the same mechanism: blind rage, hate, and distorted, delusional reasoning. Sound familiar? It’s synonymous with spiritual chaos. It’s the very opposite of HaShem.
When I was attending a lecture at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, a physician there told us how every time he treated a Palestinian patient that would shortly be back in Gaza, it was his hope that one of those patients, just one of them, would have their heart touched and might one day be the person to break the cycle of hate. Talk about Tikkun Olam, not only talking the talk, but walking the walk. Something we can all hope and pray for, but remain strong and vigilant while waiting.
Peter:
Eloquent, articulate and right from the soul. Thanks so much for breaking your silence. More, please.
