Michele Bachmann: The Next Jew

palin_star_of david.jpg
Sarah Palin wore a Magen David to celebrate the reunification of Jerusalem. Naturally, liberals accuse her of Jew-hatred.

The Selective Investigative Instincts of the Liberal Media

When Sarah Palin burst upon the national scene and the liberal media attempted to destroy her Seraphic Secret observed that Governor Palin was being transformed into a hated Jew.

Each rhetorical bombardment is reminiscent of the Arab strategy to demonize Jews and Israel.

The attacks on Sarah Palin were and are blood libels.

The latest ghoulish assault—liberalism is socialism as lynch mob—on Sarah Palin is the mob frenzy to analyze some 24,000 Palin emails written during her tenure as Alaska’s governor.

Interpolation

When Obama’s twenty year discipleship to Jew-hater Jeremiah Wright was finally revealed the liberal media dismissed this disgusting alliance as nothing more than guilt by association. We wonder if liberals would have the same attitude if a Republican attended KKK meetings for twenty years. We sort of doubt it. Wright’s church is the black ideological mirror of the KKK. But for the liberal media the Obama/Wright man-crush was of zero interest. Jewish liberals distinguished themselves as a post-modern Judenrat voting for Obama by a 74% margin. Orthodox Jews overwhelmingly supported McCain.

End Interpolation

Much to the chagrin of the propagandists who masquerade as journalists the mountain of emails reveal Governor Palin as a hard-working, effective public servant, transparent, humorous and willing to take on the corrupt Republican party elite of Alaska and distrustful of oil companies.

Nevertheless, the blood libels will continue because liberals simply cannot bear the notion that a smart, beautiful and independent woman can be ideologically Conservative.

But there are two issues which make Sarah Palin a particular object of liberal scorn:

1. Sarah Palin’s support and love of Israel is profound. Hence, she was and is accused of anti-Semitism. The foul charge makes no sense. But hey, cognitive dissonance is the hallmark of leftist/progressive/liberal thought.

Note: I’m friends with the Israeli tour guide who accompanied Governor Palin on her recent trip to Israel. This guide has only good things to say about Palin and her family.

2. Sarah Palin opposes abortion. In fact, she lives this philosophy. Sarah Palin gave birth to a Down Syndrome baby, refusing to view her child as an inconvenience to be murdered in the womb.

To liberals, this is just as bad—well, maybe even worse—than her love of Israel. Abortion is sacrosanct to the liberal mind. The foetus viewed as an annoying blister to be lanced. Hence, the stomach churning Orwellian named “Planned Parenthood,” code for industrial-scale abortion.

michelebachmannteaparty.jpg

Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann is the anti-Obama. Which is to say she actually has practical knowledge of the free market, is unabashedly pro-Israel and believes in American exceptionalism.

Jew Bachmann and, Gasp, She Does Not Wear Pants Suits

Michele Bachmann is the next Jew.

In the GOP debate the other night, Bachmann dazzled. She was incisive, articulate and knowledgeable. Clearly, she was enjoying herself. A majority of Americans want their politicians to be optimistic. Obama comes across as Jimmy Carter squared: petulant, dour, angry, resigned to an America mired in a future of diminishing returns.

Like Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann is beautiful and glamorous, but not so glamorous that she threatens other women. Nor is she so sexy that she intimidates guys.

She dresses like a lady, modest but fashionable.

I’ve never seen her in a pants suit.

And Michele Bachmann actually knows stuff.

Unlike Obama, who poses as a philosopher king—practical knowledge scorned—Bachmann is a skilled tax attorney and an entrepreneur.

It’s no surprise to Seraphic Secret that as a pious Christian Bachmann, like Palin, is a huge supporter of Israel. Karen and I heard Bachmann at a Republican Jewish Coalition function last year and really, it was like listening to Golda Mier.

But here’s the main reason you can bet your bottom dollar that the liberal lynch mob will go after Bachmann with jihadist fervor:

Bachmann and her husband have raised five biological children. That’s way too many. Liberals cap families at 2.0 offspring. Anything more is, um, vulgar and crowds the planet.

But Bachmann and her husband also adopted and raised 23 foster children.

This, to the liberal mind, is unforgivable.

Why?

Because Michele Bachmann lives her Conservative ideology by refusing to allow government to raise unwanted children.

Seraphic Secret believes that parents who adopt are culture’s greatest heroes. They repair the world.

And for this, Michele Bachmann will become an object of hate.

A Jew to the jackals of the left.

You Knew This Was Coming, Right?

Let’s add BB to this powerful and glamorous female mix:

bardot-shalako-05-rja.jpg

An outspoken social Conservative in France, Brigitte Bardot has been fined by the French government several times for “hate speech”—in America this is known as having an opinion—against Muslims. Bardot has the chutzpah to suggest that the Islamization of French culture is, y’know, destructive and suicidal. Of Islam Bardot wrote in 2003: “Over the last twenty years, we have given in to a subterranean, dangerous, and uncontrolled infiltration, which not only resists adjusting to our laws and customs but which will, as the years pass, attempt to impose its own.” Such elegance of thought reveals a prophetic grasp of Islamist strategies.

Comment Rules

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

  1. No profanity.
  2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Well of course the Left likes to paint support for Israel as anti-Semitism. A rational support for Israel is predicated on the fact that the interests of the Jews are not always identical with the interests of other peoples, therefore it’s best for everyone if the Jews have their own nation where they can worry about their own interests.

But to the left, that’s anti-Semitism. Leftists are fundamentally savages, and a savage is a person who uses “alien” and “enemy” synonymously. Therefore to them, if I as a Gentile acknowledge that the Jews are a different people from my own, I am ipso facto hostile to them.

Absolutely BRILLIANT! You nail it with this description. Dennis Prager was making a point along these same lines on Los Angeles radio the other day.

Palin has so far withstood the attacks, but it has got to be painful to be so hated, and with such venom, and so publicly, and with so little reason, by so many. I feel for her.

Plain was accused of inciting Jared Loughner’s shooting of Gabriel Gifford. Liberals said her political maps with targeted districts incite violence. This is the definition of a blood libel. Even Alan Dershowitz, an uber liberal, agreed that blood-libel was the appropriate description of the liberal media’s treatment of Governor Palin.

    Robert,
Thanks for your wonderful comment about people who adopt. My husband and I were blessed with four kids but after they were all grown and flown we felt we weren’t quite ready for an empty nest yet.
So after much soul searching and researching we adopted a sibling pair last year, a girl now 14 and a boy now 8.
Parenting again at our age is certainly challenging but it is also very rewarding.

The mockery has already begun. In ABC’s clip on her announcement, they find fit to mention her mistake in locating Lexington & Concord in New Hampshire, as well as some other minor boo-boo. Horrors!
They then speak about how she worked for Carter but then “drifted” right. As though it was all an aimless drifting, occurring without thought or reason. They are deliberately devaluing her intelligence.
    You can see it here:
    http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/video/gop-debate-michele-bachmanns-moment-13841655
Would they bring up Obama’s 57-state gaffe whenever they mention his name? Would they say he drifted into community organizing and from there into politics? I don’t think so.
These people are so damn biased.

Robert – a little exercise I have adopted has helped me immensely in seeing how biased much of the media is.
As you cited in your example in any given political situation – liberal vs conservative – reverse the roles and ask yourself how the MSM would handle this.
Most of the time, of course, they would handle it completely opposite.
In your example say a McCain had attended KKK meetings – or let’s say for direct comparasion he attended some mythical church that believed in white separatists – it would or course be plastered on the front page every day until he either bowed out or lost the election.
As far as Michelle, the only thing she’s done so far to irritate me just a bit his hire Ed Rollins, who immediately took a swipe at Sarah Palin (over what I forget).
Rollins is like a loose cannon – going back to the Reagan days.
Those who like Palin (who hasn’t even declared her candidacy) like Bachmann so what Rollins did was to me a bit foolish.
However that certainly won’t stop me from supporting Michelle – if she is here in the primary she will have my vote. Of those running now she is my favorite.
What I admire about Palin – they have thrown about everything but the kitchen sink at her and she doesn’t back down. A mere mortal would have withered away into the sunset.
Even some libs are acknowledging that this email episode makes the media look pretty petty and vindictive.
I read a few and what I read showed her as a good governor.

My parents raised my two foster sisters as well as my cousin for about 10 years in addition to me and my five other siblings. In a house with one bathroom and 3 bedrooms. I don’t think Bachmann is Catholic but she and her husband deserves a faster path to sainthood than any pope anyway.
Bachmann is a tax attorney so the media can’t use the ‘she’s stupid like Palin’ tactic. So the ‘she’s got more kids than Palin’ will be trotted out.
Of course someone will charge Bachmann of anti-Semitism just as they did with Palin. Right after Palin was nominated for VP Robert Wexler went on MSNBC and accused her of anti-Semitic because she welcomed Pat Buchanan to Wasilla when he was running for president. Oh, the horror! Of course Wexler made the charge on a network that employs Buchanan but he never mentioned that.
And why do talking heads say that there isn’t room for Palin and Bachmann to both run. Makes sense until you never hear them say there’s no room for 8 or 10 men to run. Two female republicans are one too many but a half dozen male governors is just fine.

Today’s photo of BB is from Shalako,(1968) the same film we featured yesterday. BB plays a European aristocrat on a hunting trip in the American West who ends up being hunted by Apaches.
The outfit comes early in the film when BB is all uptight Eurotrash. Later in the film she lets her hair down, and lots of of her clothing comes off.
Which is as it should be.
BTW, the film was shot in Spain. BB never worked in Hollywood though she was offered piles of money to sign a studio contract.

Thanks for the insights about Michelle Bachmann, Robert. I’ve heard about her, but knew next to nothing about her (other than she was conservative). I think Palin is a great conservative, but I have no false expectations that she would be able to win a presidential nomination — she’s just too tarnished already. (Much like Newt, IMHO)
Bachmann, on the other hand, has been under-the-radar compared to Palin. She might just be able to pull off an upset.
Bu the way, I’m a huge fan of BB and her outspoken “hate speech”, but that photo just creeps me out! She’s dressed like Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory… and she’s got a gun! — yikes!! Yesterday’s gun/BB photo was much better!
