The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reports that the Obama Administration has sent a secret message to Iran through two European nations that the United States will not back or support an Israeli strike on Iran as long as Iran refrains from attacking U.S. interests in the Persian Gulf.
In short, Obama is trying to cut a deal — AKA appease — the genocidal-yearning mullahs and throw Israel under the nuclear bus.
This is yet another move in Obama’s strategy of undermining the Jewish State and realigning with the Muslim world.
If you’ll recall, General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, recently said that the U.S. would not be “complicit” with an Israeli attack on Iran. Complicit is a word most often used in regard to criminal behavior. There is no way Dempsey would lob such a political grenade unless it was sanctioned by Obama.
Further, Obama has abandoned a joint U.S-Israeli military exercise scheduled for October by “slashing by more than two-thirds the number of American troops going to Israel,” said Time magazine, “and reducing both the number and potency of missile interception systems at the core of the joint exercise.”
I know that memories are short, especially when it comes to Obama, but keep in mind that just last year the State Department cited this joint exercise as proof of Obama’s “unwavering commitment to Israeli’s security.”
Clearly, Obama’s unwavering commitment is unwavering treachery.
Seraphic Secret has repeatedly maintained that Barack Hussein Obama is hostile to the Jewish State.
We were wrong.
The President of the United States is an implacable enemy of the Jewish State and the Jewish people.
According to the report, Washington has used covert back channels in Europe to clarify that the US does not intend to back Israel in a strike that may spark a regional conflict.
In return, Washington expects Iran to steer clear of strategic American assets in the Persian Gulf, such as military bases and aircraft carriers.
Israeli officials reported of an unprecedented low in the two nations’ defense ties, which stems from the Obama administration’s desire to warn Israel against mounting an uncoordinated attack on Iran.
The New York Times reported Monday that US President Barack Obama is promoting a series of steps meant to curb an Israeli offensive against Iran, while forcing the Islamic Republic to take the nuclear negotiations more seriously.

If Obama has our back and is such a big supporter of israel then why has he not provided the bunker busters for the IDF to finish the job and why has General Dempsey not been criticized by the administration for his non supporting comments???

It was most disappointing watching Dershowitz give his interview to Fox news. Even as he acknowledged the “deeply troubling” nature of the omissions from the Democrats’ party platform, he continued to defend Barack Obama, saying his party’s platform wasn’t a reflection of his own views, that Obama was at odds with members of his own administration who endorsed a weakening of ties with Israel. What baloney, what foolishness. Does Dershowitz not recall the speech given at AIPAC in which Obama endorsed, himself, a return the pre-1967 borders? Does he forget the recent leaking of intelligence by the Obama administration concerning the existence of Israeli bases in Azerbajan, a blatant betrayal of Israel? And yet Dershowitz continues to believe (and expects us to believe) that Barack Obama is a “friend” to Israel? I will never, ever understand the mindset of American Jews who refuse to come to terms with the ugly truth of this presidency, a denial so very detrimental to both Israel and the US in the long term.

I am not shocked. Not at all. I expect nothing less from a man who spent over 20-years in Jeremiah Wright’s church, and a party that views this as normal behavior for an American.

Obama and the liberals in D.C. think life would be much easier without having to worry about those pesky Israelis. Gee, if only the entire ME consisted of those peace loving muslims he could play more rounds of golf without being interrupted for actual decision making – at least decision making beyond whether to use a 9 iron or a wedge.
The President of the United States is an implacable enemy of the Jewish State and the Jewish people.
Gosh, who’d have thought someone that pal’d around Wright and Khalidi would be hostile to Jews. Shumer, Wasserman-Shultz and the other Jewish supporters of Obama must be are mental midgets of the first order.

At least Iran is honest about their genocidal intentions. Obama and the Dems insist they are Israel’s BFF. That is simply a lie.

Yet former NYC mayor Ed Koch still thinks Obama is a friend of the Jews and a strong supporter of Israel. And he will campaign for Obama, as he did in 2008. Simply unbelievable.

Democrats, for the most part, are quite ready to excuse Jew-hatred. Funny thing for a party that claims to be in the vanguard of anti-racism. But the conflict is inevitable when tolerance is the number one virtue, because then one is forced to be tolerant of the intolerant.

Two thoughts.
1. I wonder if this will be reported in the NYT.
2. Seems whenever we get a hard-left President (Carter was the last) we get a big mess to clean up in foreign policy. How big a mess remains to be seen.

As always, the NYT is silent. Which is fine because they no longer count.

If this is true, it’s very disturbing and it should be a wake up call to all Americans. Just one more reason for Hope and Change in the November election!

Prophet Joe:
I have it from excellent sources in Israel that this story is true.
But it will not be a wake-up call to lever-pulling Democrats. We just have to face the grim fact that Israel does not matter for most secular American Jews. Far more important is abortion and the redefinition of marriage. Both of which are antithetical to Torah Judaism.
