You just knew this was coming.
President Barack Obama said that racial tensions may have softened his popularity among white voters within the last two years, according to a story posted on the New Yorker magazine’s website today.
“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama said in the article by David Remnick, appearing in the magazine’s Jan. 27 edition.
“Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,” Obama said in his most direct comments on how race has affected his political standing since he’s been in office.
With all due respect to the race hustlers who are the post-modern Democrat party, Seraphic Secret would like to point out that this is what’s known in the Jewish world as a blood libel.
And it would be funny if it were not for the fact that Barack Obama worshipped in a blatantly Jew-hating church for over 20 years. So, really, who is guilty of racism?
For the record, here’s some of the reasons Americans oppose Obama and the Democrat party:
- Fiscal irresponsibility
- Supporting the Muslim Brotherhood
- Supporting the IslamoNazis of Iran
- Abandoning Israel
- Benghazi
- Using the IRS as enforcers for the Democrat party.
- Fast and Furious
- ObamaCare
- Dishonesty as state policy
- Institutional use of the charge of racism
- Cultivating and encouraging a pagan cult of personality
Obama doesn’t have my disapproval because I’m a racist. Obama has my disapproval because he is the poster child for the Dunning-Kruger effect.
“Political Diary” from the Wall Street Journal remembers today that in September 2009 Barack Obama appeared on the “The Late Show,” with David Letterman and was asked the president if criticism of his policies was driven by racism (as former President Jimmy Carter and some members of Congress were suggesting.)
He replied:
“I think it’s important to realize that I was actually black before the election.
To BHO: Let’s get something perfectly clear Obama. There is no doubt that nearly 60% of the American people genuinely dislike you but not because of the color of your skin, but because of the color of your despicable character. You are an egotistical, pathological liar; you have alienated our allies; befriended our enemies; are derelict in your duties of defending the Constitution of the United States. You have turned this once proud country into a laughing stock of the world that no country will trust. In addition you have no courage, not even to accept responsibility for your failures. The scandals of your administration are long and shameful. You and your spouse have sucked at the public trough, living like royalty for 5 long years. The American People are sick of it, and your followers are becoming fewer by the day. You were given the benefit of the doubt and now all doubt has been vanquished. Very sad that some people will still approve you because of the color of your skin. No other qualification required.
Compared to blacks, whites were more likely to weigh the policies of BOH as a candidate for office before deciding who to vote for. The only way you have 96% of a racial group vote for one candidate there have to be a large number that are voting for BOH because of his skin color.
So just who are the racists in Obama’s eyes?
It’s not “some black folks” who like him and voted for him b/c of his blackness, it’s almost all of them. He got 96 percent of the black vote. Now, there’s racism for you.
He can say “some” because African Americans anyway overwhelmingly vote for the Democratic Party candidate.
I sure do dislike that term and its ilk; among the earliest examples of political correctness. They’re not dual citizens, and you can’t be a citizen of a continent anyway. If they’re not Americans, what are they? I say stop using the hyphenations. Don’t support this baloney. Choose the right word. Remember, certain people choose to be offended even when there was no offense offered.
So…all of a sudden, all of those white “folks” who elected lil barry in 2008 and re-elected him in 2012…have discovered their “inner racist” and decided they don’t like having a half-black president?
Right. Makes perfect sense to me.
What a whining, sniveling, petty little man he is.
Well, he’s conceding that maybe some people have some kind of racial prejudice where they would be ready to judge him unfavorably. It’s not true. The prejudice is more personal.
If we read his remarks carefully, he’s not really saying any kind of racial prejudice reduced (or increased) his vote margin – he’s mostly just speaking in general.
I thought he was half black. If his current whine doesn’t work,
he’ll blame it on his being half black.
Caligula has spent the nation’s good will, lives and wealth for a front seat on the ride to Hell.
It’s all about him. Can’t be his fault.
Bill, as Barbara Walters said, he’s the messiah they’ve been waiting for.
You can’t blame the messiah.
That was Oprah Winfrey, who didn’t play much of a role, if any, in his second campaign, and she didn’t quite say that anyway. I think she said he was “the one”
By the way, she had walked out Jeremiah Wright’s church after trying it a few times. Obama had political reasons for staying there. Now that tells you something about black Chicago politics, and Obama’s preference for a non-religious church.
This past December when she was interviewed on Piers Morgan, Walters said “We thought that he was going to be – I shouldn’t say this at Christmastime, but – the next messiah”.
how about general incompetence? Befriending every totalitarian islamo/nazi regime who despise our way of life and would kill us in a heart beat?
