Obama To Nominate Jeremiah Wright for Sec. of Defense

Obama-Wright

Okay, not really.

But Hagel and Wright are cut from the same Jew-hating cloth.

Have you noticed that wherever  Barack Hussein Obama goes, he manages to hook up with Jew-haters?

Obama started his political career in the living room of terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, unrepentant American terrorists who are vocal supporters of Hamas. They dedicated their terrorist manifesto “Prairie Fire” to, among others, Sirhan Sirhan, the Arab Muslim terrorist who assassinated Robert F. Kennedy. Ayers and Dohrn refer to Sirhan as a “political prisoner.”

Obama spent 20 some plus years in the so-called church of Jeremiah Wright, a Marxist Jew-hater who also agitates against America and praise jihadists in almost every sermon.

There’s Rashid Khalidi, another Obama BFF, a PLO Jew-hater. Obama offered a toast to Khalidi that is probably so anti-Semitic that the Los Angeles Times, who have a copy of this tape, has refused to release it.

Michael Pflager, a Marxist Catholic priest who, naturally, finds time to hate Jews and Israel.

And now, of course, Chuck Hagel.

By the way, those who hate Israel are Jew-haters. The pretense that they are merely anti-Zionist is a convenient fiction popularized by Jew-hating Arab Muslims.

In October 2000, Hagel was one of only 4 Senators who refused to sign a Senate letter in support of Israel.

In November 2001, Hagel was one of only 11 Senators who refused to sign a letter urging President Bush not to meet with the late Yassir Arafat until his forces ended the violence against Israel.

In June 2004, Hagel refused to sign a letter urging President Bush to highlight Iran’s nuclear program at the G-8 summit.

In December 2005, Hagel  was one of only 27 who refused to sign a letter to President Bush to pressure the Palestinian Authority to ban terrorist groups from participating in Palestinian legislative elections.

In August 2006, Hagel was one of only 12 Senators who refused to write the EU asking them to declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization.

And in some not-so-surprising news, Iran thinks Hagel is totally awesome.

Comment Rules

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

  1. No profanity.
  2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Well I caught today’s (Tueday 1-8) Morning Joe to see if the intellectual midgets hosting the show had spent any time since Monday’s show looking for evidence of why people would oppose Hagel.

    Short answer – No!

Mika was flummoxed (yeah, I know it’s a low bar) that John McCain would oppose Hagel when 6 years ago McCain said he would be proud to have Hagel serve as his SoD. None of the mental midgets sitting around the table could understand McCain’s change of heart either. These people live in D.C. and get paid more than minimum wage but are clueless that maybe there was something that happened in the last six years that would change McCain’s opinion of Hagel.

Let’s see! After spending hours going through the dusty warehouse at my local library reading yellowed copies of the NYT I discovered there was an election four years ago between McCain and someone named Obama. And Hagel supported the Obama guy instead of his buddy John McCain.

So McCain sees what a two-faced fair-weather weasel Hagel is and the lefty idiots representative of conventional wisdom in D.C. are shocked that he’s changed his mind. Is anyone at Comcast embarrassed at paying these people. Sooner or later someone wil discover they can hire a bunch of sixth-graders for the show and get smarter and more intellectually honest commentary at a fraction of the cost of Mika’s peroxide bill.

    Dear Mr. Avrech,
Quick question for you related to this post, why did American Jews vote so overwhelmingly for Obama?
Apologies if you’ve posted on this before, I’m new to your blog and enjoy it greatly. I ask because I’ve spent a great amount of time in the mid-east and am a strong supporter of the US/Israeli alliance. It seems to me that US Jews would favor the GOP, at least in this area. Anyhow would like to hear your view on this topic, and if you’ve already posted on it could you send a link?
    Thanks,
    Tater

It probably would be better if Obama had nominated Jeremiah Wright. At least the sheep know a wolf when they see one! Hagel is a wolf is sheep’s clothing. He has an “R” after his name, so most people will *naturally* think he’s pro-Israel mainstream American.

I’d say it’s astounding but it really isn’t. Just another proof (as if we need any more) that Israel has no friends in this administration. And for this long time Republican (now a registered Independent) to hear mainstream Republicans defend this virulent antisemite is disheartening to put it mildly.

I talked to buddies in Michigan and Virginia about going over and doing some volunteer work for the IDF and some other Israeli organizations. Maybe it’s time to see what we can do to remind them they’re not really alone.

This morning on Slow Morning Joe (I watch so you don’t have to ruin your brain), Scarborough and Mika excoriated anyone like Lindsey Graham criticizing Hagel. Apparently, Hagel has mainstream views on foreign policy in the mold of G. H. W. Bush, James Baker and (drum roll please) Zbigniew Brzezinski!  Umm Joe, maybe that’s the problem. Are you even aware of what Carter and Brzezinski did back in the ’70s and have you read any of their books lately? Holy cow!

I mean, hosting a morning “news” show is not exactly the most strenuous job in the world. Is it too much to expect that Slow Joe take just a few minutes to know a few things about the father of his co-host? Never in the opening segment of the show did they even mention whether the concerns about Hagel might have some legitimacy. It was all bout how the Republicans are going to pay a price for being obstructionists after Susan Rice yet Slow Joe never mentioned the Democrats have a majority in the Senate and the House has no say on the matter. If Hagel goes down the Democrats will have to be a part of the sinking.

And then David Ignatius came on. Now unlike Eugene Robinson or Chris Mathews, Ignatius usually has moments of lucidity that make his opinions worthwhile. But all he said today is that Hagel’s record shows strong support for Israel – but he gave no examples of this strong support. It’s like Moses came down from the mountain empty handed and said “trust me -he had ten rules for us to live by.”

But then came the topper. Ignatius reassured us by saying Hagel’s views on Israel are ultimately unimportant since he will be following Obama’s policy toward Israel! Hello! Earth to Ignatius! That’s not reassuring!

Goodness gracious! The only good thing about Hagel is that he’s a white male so there goes the woman-hating-racist label liberals would attach to Republicans. Well I guess that’s not really true since voting against Hagel is merely evidence of racism to anything Obama wants. Can someone tell me when Bull Connor and George Wallace were Republicans?
