Our troops in Afghanistan send a message to the unhinged OWS losers.

George Orwell’s comment on the British lefties of his time applies to their present day counterparts in the US:
“Socialism and Communism draw towards them with magnetic force every fruit-juice drinker, nudist, sandal wearer, sex-maniac, Quaker, Nature Cure’ quack, pacifist, and feminist in England.”
To those guys in Afghanistan – they gotta be laughing at those back here who consider what “problems” inhabit their lives.
But then that has always been the case between those at the front lines and the rest.
Through my life I have picked up snippets of information I consider noteworthy here …and there.
In the “there” dept Britain’s problem – post WW2 – has been those who consider socialism the country’s salvation.
In fact I believe Britain’s slide to the abyss began with Churchill’s losing the election in 1945.
Imagine – here is the man who – in the wilderness of 1930s – continues to warn Britain of the Nazi threat – who shoulders the dark days of 1939-1943 – and is thanked for this in losing an election right after the war he helped to win.
But to my immediate point – an Australian told me years ago that many of their problems – with all sector-wide strikes – began with the emigration of all the British union activists.
I am afraid to so many of our labor unions – they walk hand in hand with socialism so it is no surprised that the unions are funding the occupy movement.
Those soldiers, the ones liberals like to portray as dumb hicks that don’t know they’re being taken advantage of, are sharper than the editors at the NYT or Wash Post in that they can see exactly what socialist whiners the occupiers are.
It’s nice to see the argument that the tents are a form of free speech, something the members of the MSM swoon over, is laughed at by guys that do more in one day than the whiners do in a year. The only reason the occupiers get any decent press is that the MSM is longing for the protests of the sixties. But it will never be 1968 again and camping out in a city park is never going to result in a Kent State.
