Got loads of time on your hands under quarantine?
It’s a good time to rediscover the joy of books.
And one of my favorites is Jane Austen’s masterpiece “Pride and Prejudice.”
In this episode of The Book Club, Michael Knowles and Abigail Shrier explore the themes of love, virtue, and social hierarchy discovered in the pages of Jane Austen’s classic work.
Abigail is a friend and was scheduled to be the guest lecturer at the 2020 Ariel Avrech Memorial Lecture. Unfortunately, like so many other public event, the Ariel Avrech Lecture has been indefinitely postponed. But when we are able to meet again with friends in a public forum Abigail will be our speaker. In the meantime, enjoy the lively discussion.
