It was inevitable.
Once Holder’s Department of Justice lynched the Ferguson Police Department with phony statistics and basically called for nationalizing a local police force, it was open season on the police in Ferguson.
Now two Ferguson police officers have been shot.
Thankfully, both officers will survive their physical wounds. But the psychological trauma to the injured officers, their family, friends, and police officers all across America, is incalculable.
Seraphic Secret has long believed that so-called hate crimes are political weapons that liberals use to control language, thought, and the judicial system.
Thus Obama, Holder, and the progressive left that is the postmodern Democrat party would have us believe that the Ferguson Police Department is inherently racist and that its officers are guilty of hate crimes because they target black people.
But the attempted assassination of police officers is not a hate crime. Instead, it is a “tragic incident.” Because black lives matter, but police officers’ lives do not.
Call it Progressive Privilege — because police lives don’t serve the left’s political agenda.
It’s another instance of liberal pieties that move in only one direction.
Let us stipulate that whoever tried to murder the two police officers is responsible for his own heinous actions. But let us also stipulate that the demonization of the Ferguson police department by the usual race hustlers — Obama invoked Ferguson several times in his tiresome Selma speech — has helped shape an environment where police officers are low-hanging fruit… and fair game.
Ah, yes.
There are lies.
There are D_mnable lies.
And then there are statistics.
My question is, in the statistics used to d_mn the police for racism, how many incidents were because of civilian call ins and how many were officer decisions to stop.
It would be interesting the forms for recording information required by the Justice Department and how they categorized.
I disagree with your conclusion that the race hustlers are not responsible for this act. One of the officers at the scene is quoted as saying, “they wanted this.” And I think that he’s right in a sense. No, not that the race hustlers wanted police shot, but they did want to raise emotions to a fever pitch and damn the consequences. At law, that’s called being “reckless,” and you can bring suit over it. It is particularly heinous in this instance, given that the DOJ and a Grand Jury investigated the triggering event for all of this, the Wilson – Brown altercation, and found no wrongdoing whatsoever, let alone any hint of racial animus start to finish.
The sole basis for still claiming racism was DOJ’s statistical analysis under disparate impact theory — a theory already disallowed to claim racism in other contexts by the Supreme Court. These people are responsible for the consequences of their action, and violence, in whatever form, was wholly foreseeable in all of this. I think that there are several people on the left who have blood on their hands over this.
