Rebbetzin Celia Singer, Z’L

I have always loved this snapshot of Celia Singer, my mother-in-law, holding my wife Karen, Brooklyn, 1951.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Karen’s mother

Comment Rules

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

  1. No profanity.
  2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

Sorry to hear that. I had a great mother-in-law who was a friend for many years even after I was divorced from her daughter. She had many stories about the movie business in the old days. At one time she was editor of several fan magazine and probably knew every secret in Hollywood. She was very close to Howard Hughes for years. We lost her about 15 years ago.

    My condolences.
