In light of yesterday’s post regarding murderous, genocidal peace movements, Seraphic Secret is reminded of the Peace Now! bumper stickers that blighted the Israeli landscape for too many years.
Peace Now, a brain dead movement, delivered intellectual collapse through Oslo and then death and destruction via Arab Muslim pogroms against the Jewish people.
As a counter measure to the endless propaganda efforts of the left Seraphic Secret offers a diplomatic answer to appeasement. Hence our poster as a corrective and slice of sanity.
H/T Rabbi Yitzchak Etshalom for suggesting the idea during a Torah class.

I’m not a big fan of the status quo. Are you referring to the status quo in Israel? The ‘territories?’ Internationally, with Iran? Maybe I misunderstand the whole thing. Personally, I have never believed the so-called demographic threat upon which so much policy since 1967 has been based. Assume I am correct for a moment. What if Israel annexed Judea, Samaria officially (too bad about Gaza!) and told the Arabs living there that they were all now legally considered “resident aliens,” and were offered a 5-year window to choose to accept Israeli citizenship? The PA has already abrogated Oslo by failing all these years to amend the PLO charter as agreed and now going to the UN, as well as their (failed) attempts to unite with Hamas. The US and European governments may be looking for just such an excuse to stop sending them money. The PA “security” (ha!) forces would be disarmed or liquidated if necessary. UNRWA would be told it has no more purpose as there are no more refugees in Israel and be deported. The surrounding nations are in turmoil in any case and will not be able to do anything about it. Jordan has just removed citizenship from thousands upon thousands of Palestinian Arabs. What a fascinating contrast that would make. Historically, the Israeli Arab birthrate has plummeted as their economic status has risen. It has always been said that many Arabs would want Israeli sovereignty but are afraid to say so publicly. This would be their chance. Anyone who retaliated against those accepting citizenship would be apprehended, jailed or deported, as the common criminals they are. Anyway Bibi is trading away any strike on Iran for more diplomacy—let this be the quid pro quo. Obama can hardly object to Israel giving Palestinians full rights as a response to the failed negotiations. Yeah, I know it’s a pipedream, and crazy to boot. But consider the positive consequences of such a masterstroke! Can one say Im Tirtzu Ayn Zo Agada at this point?

Oof. Agreed. I seem to recall a good deal of Israeli tourist literature in the ’50s and ’60s featured the young women of the IDF in their shorts and desert boots and sun hats with submachine guns slung over their shoulders. They did a lot to cultivate my favorable estimation of Israel.
