Loyal readers will recall that Offspring #2, in honor of Passover, cleverly arranged a shipment of new shoes delivered c/o Zappos to the front door of Casa Avrech. Well, another surprise arrived c/o you know who. A surprise just for Ma’ayan Ariel. As you can see, Ma’ayan is a BIG fan of Friday Footwear.
Here’s appropriate and very cute reading material for your little Friday Footwear fashionista: Shoe-La-La!, a clever rhyming book. Meet four little girls who love shoes: “Party dresses, party hair, perfect party shoes to wear!”
Ma’ayan Ariel wishes all our friends and relatives a lovely and inspiring Shabbat.

Ariel Chaim Avrech, ZT'L, May His Righteous Memory be a Blessing.

Son-in-law #1:
Something tells me cute runs in the distaff side of the family. Do people ignore any puppies and kittens when the girls are around?
Speaking of cute, I think the Verizon commercial where the daughter starts a lemonade business after her dad gives her a cell phone because it has a calculator is the funniest thing on tv today. The look on the dad’s face when he gets home and the kid asks him if she is expecting him is classic. I’m not going to get a Verizon phone but the commercial is great. If it’s not running in your market you have to look it up on You-Tube.

Johnny:
Thanks so much for the kind words about Ma’ayan. I actually had to ask son-in-law #1 for the definition of oligopoly. So, basically, Ma’ayan and Lielle are the Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola of cuteness.
Have a great weekend.

Glad to see that Seraphic Secret is colonizing your conscious mind.
That is our ultimate goal, total control:-)

Johnny -
Please allow me to correct you. Maya does not enjoy a monopoly on cuteness. The world’s cuteness is dominated by Maya and her younger sister, Lielle. So actually its an oligopoly.

Is there anyone that thinks it fair that this one little girl keeps monopolizing the cuteness in the world?

I have to admit that since I’ve known you — and known about the shoe fetishists in your family — any time I see something “shoe-oriented” I think of your daughters/Karen. It can be a chanukiah, a mezuzah cover, a notepad, a photo frame, a Scotch tape holder…anything!…and I think “Hmmm, this would be nice for those Avrech females.”
High time one or all of them come to Toronto’s Bata Shoe Museum!
Great photos of MA!
Have a good Shabbos.
