Sorry For the Silence

macbook_pro_broken_glass

My computer is having a nervous breakdown, hence the silence these past few days. I’ve been consulting with computer people all over the place but my little laptop seems to have gone blooey.  Thanks for all your concerned emails, comments, and for your patience. I’m hoping to be back online in a few days.

Comment Rules

Seraphic Secret is private property, that's right, it's an extension of our home, and as such, Karen and I have instituted two Seraphic Rules and we ask commentors to act respectfully.

  1. No profanity.
  2. No Israel bashing. We debate, we discuss, we are respectful. You know what Israel bashing is. The world is full of it. Seraphic Secret is one of the few places in the world that will not tolerate this form of anti-Semitism.

That's it. Break either of these rules and you will be banned.

I feel your pain. My work laptop entered a comatose state a week ago (Friday) so I spent most of last week re-imaging the hard drive with our default installation and re-installing the 30+ applications that are unique to my IT position… and, of course, finding the data back-ups for said programs. Oy…

On the other hand, I am glad to hear you and your family are well.

Too bad you aren’t up in No CA. I have a friend, retired from our major newspaper, and he has a friend who worked with him at the paper and was the Apple Guru. Can fix anything from Cupertino.
