A half-century after his death, Martin Luther King, Jr. is as revered as ever. But have we been following his example, or merely paying lip service to his ideas? Jason Riley, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, weighs in.
Ramadi has fallen to the IslamoNazis of Islamic State. Keep in mind that Ramadi was stable and secure when Obama came into office. But in his haste to scamper out of the Middle East, Obama has left a power vacuum that has been filled by the worst actors the Islamic world has to offer.
Under Obama, Syria has become a failed state, a Sunni/Shia slaughterhouse. Libya and Yemen are further examples of Obama’s failed foreign policy.
And of course there is Iran on its way to becoming a nuclear power — with Obama’s blessing.
The headline is fictional.
But imagine if the IslamoNazis of Iran repeatedly vowed to rid the world of the cancer of black people.
Would Barack Obama continue to engage such a regime in nuclear negotiations? Would he seek to legitimize such a genocidal-yearning regime with endless appeasement and slavish private letters to their supreme leader?
Obama’s inner Jew-hatred is finally bubbling to the surface for all to see. He’s just using Bibi’s overwhelming victory as a convenient pretext to abandon Israel and realign with the IslamoNazis of Iran.
Bret Stephens writes about The Orwellian Obama’s Presidency in this morning’s WSJ:
The humiliating denouement to America’s involvement in Yemen came over the weekend, when U.S. Special Forces were forced to evacuate a base from which they had operated against the local branch of al Qaeda. This is the same branch that claimed responsibility for the January attack on Charlie Hebdo and has long been considered to pose the most direct threat to Europe and the United States.
So who should Barack Obama be declaring war on in the Middle East other than the state of Israel?
It was inevitable.
Once Holder’s Department of Justice lynched the Ferguson Police Department with phony statistics and basically called for nationalizing a local police force, it was open season on the police in Ferguson.
Now two Ferguson police officers have been shot.
