It’s one thing to criticize Israel. It’s another thing entirely to be against the very existence of the Jewish state. In this clarifying video, Dennis Prager defines the difference and explains why anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism are one and the same.

Victor Davis Hanson on Progressive Jew Hatred

Jew-hatred is a fact of life.
As we recite in in the Passover Hagaddah, “In every generation they rise to destroy us…”
In America, Jew-hatred comes from two distinct groups: a small but dangerous group of white nationalists. But overwhelmingly Jew-hatred comes from the intersectional Progressive left. The Democrat Party has institutionalized Jew-hatred by refusing to condemn pathological Jew-haters Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. In fact, Democrat partisans embrace these two racists.
It worth noting that not one Democrat politician running for POTUS made a statement of support for Israel when the IslamoNazis in Gaza lobbed 698 missiles at civilian targets in Israel last week murdering four, injuring 234 and traumatizing thousands of innocent children.
Not surprisingly, Omar and Tlaib tweeted support of the IslamoNazis.
Of course, Jew-hatred has been part of the leftist DNA since the birth of modern Socialism.
As Karl Marx wrote:
What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money.…. Money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man – and turns them into commodities…. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange…. The chimerical nationality of the Jew is the nationality of the merchant, of the man of money in general.
Victor Davis Hanson unwraps Progressive Jew-hatred which intersects with Islamist Jew-hatred which intersects with black Jew-hatred.
The New York Times International Edition recently published an anti-Semitic cartoon of a dachshund with the face of Benjamin Netanyahu. The composite animal was leading a hunched Donald Trump who had on dark sunglasses, as if blind, and a yarmulke.
Almost immediately, everyone pointed out that the theme of doglike Jews pulling along their clueless befuddled blinded “Aryan” masters was a favorite in Hitler’s Germany. The theme, style, and imagery of the cartoon might have trumped what was often published in Der Stürmer, the Nazi megaphone of propagandist Julius Streicher. The latter was hanged after the Nuremberg Trials for two decades of fomenting the Jew hatred that helped lead to the Holocaust.
Stranger still, at first the New York Times merely explained how the sick cartoon got published in its international edition, but without an apology for its publication. Its subsequent second-try mea culpa was rendered a pathetic joke when, a few days later, the paper published yet another incoherent anti-Semitic cartoon of a Benjamin Netanyahu, this time as some sort of blind Moses with selfie stick in one hand and a stone tablet with the Star of David in the other, as he descends from Mount Sinai.

Anti-Zionism is Anti-Semitism
Rabbi Jonathan Sacks explains that antisemitism is a virus that has mutated over time and why its return today presents a danger not just for Jews, but for all who care about our common humanity.
Jew Haters of the Women’s March

This story should not be a surprise to anyone who has half a brain.
Linda Sarsour is a notorious Jew-hater. Thus, any cause with which she is associated can be assumed to be infected with the world’s oldest hatred.
Jew-hatred is an entire world view, a theory of everything. Jews are communists. Jews are capitalists. Jews are rootless. Jews are cosmopolitans. Jews killed Jesus. Jews enslaved blacks. Israel poisons Arab water. Israel steals Arab land. Jews secretly control the Federal Bank. Jews control the world. Jews are not real Jews, they are really… Khazars, Martians, fill in the blank.
And so on.
Thus, there is not a wide gulf—it’s really only a matter of style—between the poisonous Jew-hatred of Louis Farrakhan, Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory, Carmen Perez, and Mark Lamont Hill’s IslamoNazi UN rant, the silky intellectual anti-Zionism/Jew-hatred of Michelle Goldberg via (who else?) the New York Times, Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party, and the lunatic Jew-hatred spouted by newly elected Democrat congresswoman Ilhan Omar who tweeted: “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”
Jew-haters all, they obsessively structure their grand unifying theory around the foundational notion that the great problems in the world—pick one, any problem will do—could be and should be solved if it were not for the malignant presence of the Jew/Jewish State.
The Jewish Story is Under Assault

Those who read this blog on a regular basis know that Yossi Klein Halevi and I went to yeshiva high school together. At the time, Yossi was active in Rabbi Meir Kahane’s Jewish Defense League. Yours truly was sort of terrified of the JDL guys who used to hang out by the lockers and plot who-knows-what. A few years ago Offspring #3 married Yossi’s maternal nephew. No longer scary, Yossi is now an Israeli, a husband and father, and a hugely respected author and journalist. He and I have grown close.
Though Yossi has authored several excellent books, his first effort, “Memoirs of a Jewish Extremist” is my absolute favorite. His evocation of our high school, Brooklyn Talmudic Academy, is astonishingly vivid. And I admire the manner in which he is able to look at his younger self with such bracing honesty. Do yourself a favor and head on over to Yossi’s author’s page.
Yossi’s latest article is about the cultural/historical genocide UNESCO is waging against Judaism and the state of Israel.
