About twelve weeks ago I felt a sudden, sharp pain in my right elbow.
A strained muscle, I assumed. Over the next few days, the pain only increased. I told a friend about it.
He said: “You have tennis elbow.”
I said, “The closest I ever got to the game is the tennis match in Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train.”
I made an appointment with a friend who is an Orthopedic surgeon. He examined me, sent me for an X-Ray, and said: “You have tennis elbow.”
I endured physical therapy for a few weeks, but the level and intensity of pain was off the charts .
The injections I received—cortisone, and then my own blood—did not help.
I’m scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning, April 1.
Thus, Seraphic Secret will be off-line until I can use my right arm again.
I am, however, preparing Friday Photos in advance so at least that will go live this coming Friday.
