Useful idiot John Kerry lectures us that we shouldn’t prejudge the Muslim Brotherhood.
President Obama called Mohamed Morsi to congratulate him. No doubt, Obama has warmer feelings towards Marsi and the Brotherhood than to Benjamin Netanyahu and Likud.
In a way, Kerry’s statement and Obama’s obsequiousness are even more alarming than Mohamed Morsi’s election as President of Egypt.
The leftist chattering classes have a long and ignoble history of seeing totalitarian ideologies through rose-tinted lenses. Let us never forget that Western liberals consistently downplayed the evils of communism. They continue to sneer at those of us who condemn Cuba and Venezuela. Forgotten are the forty million murdered by Soviet communists, the seventy million murdered by Chinese communists, the two million murdered by the North Korean commmunists in the 1990′s, and the one million innocent souls butchered by the communist Khemer Rouge of Cambodia.
Thus, it’s no great surprise to see the usual suspects stepping forward to lecture us on tolerance for Islamist Jew-haters, Christian-haters, women-haters, haters of homosexuals, haters and oppressors of anyone who does not adhere to Islam.
Egypt is on its way to becoming Khomeni’s Iran.

Simple, we listened to Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohammed Morsi when he was campaigning for President of Egypt:
Egypt’s Constitution should be based on the Koran and Sharia law, presidential candidate from the Muslim Brotherhood Islamist movement Mohamed Morsi said.
“The Koran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader, jihad is our path and death in the name of Allah is our goal,” Morsi said in his election speech before Cairo University students on Saturday night.
Today Egypt is close as never before to the triumph of Islam at all the state levels, he said.
“Today we can establish Sharia law because our nation will acquire well-being only with Islam and Sharia. The Muslim Brothers and the Freedom and Justice Party will be the conductors of these goals,” he said.
Morsi has also made it clear that he wants Egypt to strengthen its ties with Iran and re-examine the treaty with Israel.

I’m still waiting for the ‘religion of peace’ to explain why treating women like objects is a good thing. To see women dressed in tents with the merest strip over the eyes open is just as offensive to me as bruises laid by a violent bully, it’s the same streak of mysoginy.
It’s all about control, but goes a step further, it denies the woman an identity.

If the economy in Egypt goes in the tank and the country is worse off than under Mubarak, does anyone think the MB will allow large protests to take place? Egypt depends more on tourism than places like Iran or Yemen do so it’s hard to see how things will get better under the MB.
But of course Egyptians will be told all their problems are the fault of those evil Jews just like Castro has America to blame for all the problems in Cuba.
And where has Kerry been for the last three decades? Who is pre-judging the MB? It seems they have done and said enough that they can be adequately judged for what they really are.
