It is a gruesome thing to behold, leftist totalitarian and Islamist regimes using the noble rhetoric of human rights to further their tyrannical and theocratic goals. We have entered the age of Orwellian Newspeak where war is peace, good is evil, hate is love—and it’s all being legitimized on the global stage by Barack Obama.
This from EYE on the U.N.
The Obama administration joined the UN Human Rights Council in one of its first foreign policy moves. As justification for what it labeled “principled engagement and strategic multilateralism,” top administration officials pointed to the Council’s new Universal Periodic Review (UPR) system. They called the UPR a “good mechanism” (Brimmer, Assistant Secretary of State) and “an important change” (Koh, State Department, Legal Advisor).
On Friday, November 5, 2010, senior American representatives went to Geneva to participate in the first UPR-review by the Council of the human rights record of the United States.
See for yourselves what the Obama administration foreign policy looks like in action: a human rights fraud for political ends.
And of course, terrorism against Jews is applauded at the U.N.
Seraphic Secret would like to make the following recommendations:
The U.S. should immediately halt all financial support to this gallery of thugs, murderers and torturers. Let the U.N. move to a more appropriate host country, say Congo or Liberia. Then tear down the current building—an architectural disaster—and salt the earth.
Do Obama and his globalist cronies have no sense of decency or shame?
How long will the American people endure this dangerously incompetent President and his ship of fools?
Dear Chana: Among the items I can’t take on a plane are embroidery needles, sewing scissors and crochet hooks-all of which are blunt.
Have you ever been required, by an airport security check, to throw out a bottle of water or shampoo, then seen water or shampoo on sale in the departure lounge?
The thought of the United States being reviewed by the UN Human Rights Council makes me feel as though I were going through a TSA security check.
I don’t agree that the U.N. soil should be salted. I think Mayor Bloomberg should invoke Kelo vs. New London, get the U.N. off those 18 acres of river view, centrally located Manhattan real estate, and auction them off.
The American people are stuck with Obama for another 789 days, unless someone finds a reason to impeach him.
Check out the latest TSA stupidity –

CNN had an interview yesterday with an Iranian minister that just denied Iran was not a beacon of human rights and the defender of all women. It was like Baghdad Bob got a new job in Iran.
The State Dept in all administrations and Obama think if they open their arms to tyrants they will develop western ideals. Sort of like teenagers thinking Communism is a great system because it helps everyone.
Maybe he is hoping to become the next Secretary General of the U. N.
Robert, I want to thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of Harold Lloyd a few days ago.
Very funny stuff.

The U.N. is a joke and has been for many years now. It is only slightly more relevant in today’s world than the League of Nations it was meant to replace…
When will the liberal, feel good, peace-at-all-cost types realize that we aren’t really “One World” after all? There are 2 types of politicians/leaders. Those who would allow individual freedoms, civil liberties and religious freedom and look for equal opportunities for all citizens, and those who would seek to control people and eliminate personal, religious and civil liberties under a strict government-controlled society.
I honestly don’t see much difference between the Nazis, who saw Germans as the superior race, and the Islamic Jihadists who see Islam as the superior religion. Both want to exterminate Jews. Both want state-controlled society. The main difference is that the Jihadist follow the Qu’ran (and associated fundamentalist writings) while the Nazis followed Mein Kampf.
The U.S. should immediately halt all financial support to this gallery of totalitarian monsters.
Through the Clinton and Bush administrations, I’ve gotten the impression that they’ve already given up on the UN and were just allowing it sink into the sewer until even the internationalist left figures it’s a lost cause. Obama seems to be hurrying that process along.
